Quick Take: too bad. the sample had plenty of color.
Barely any color coming out from the felt tip pen applicator. The sample shade was great but not the purchased product. It wasn't dry, but little was visible on the brow. I returned it once, but saw same results. A real waste of money.

So much better than using a traditional pencil and, as a blonde, the light color makes my eyebrows look natural......and it really is waterproof. Pricey but well worth it.

I have black eyebrows and fair skin. I have a hard time finding fillers that blend without over powering. This one is amazing! It looks natural and creates a clean brow.

LOVE this!!! I am an eyebrow aficionado and have tried almost EVERYTHING from brow powders, brow gels, pencils, waxes, etc.. I was on vacation and was even stopped by several people to ask where I got my brows done while wearing this product..
Pros: smudge-proof. wow. even after being out all night and accidentally wiping my face with my arms from time to time, this brow color does not budge.. this brow color is very easy to control.. the pen tip moves smoothly with a flick of your wrist. the colors of the medium and light mix well to make a great color. i use the light for the beginning of my brows and use the medium as i head toward the middle and tail of my brows for a fading effect..
Cons: at first, it comes on very light and i know that would turn a lot of people off, but as you continue to use it, you realize if you layer it, it gets darker. being able to control the color in this way makes for a very natural finish because you can go as light or as dark as you want...

Quick Take: long lasting
The worst thing about brow colors/fillers is that they're usually too obvious. This Stila waterproof brow color is the solution to this problem! The product brushes on very lightly and still fills the bare spots but does not look overdone. I was highly skeptical at first, but when I tried it I was sold. As others have noted the "medium" shade is actually dark brown, so definitely get the lighter shade if your hair is lighter than dark brown. I don't know if this product is technically waterproof, but it does last all day.

The medium brown is a perfect color for very dark brown hair. It delivers a great dark color without being too brown and eyebrows look very natural. The down side is that there is not enough product in the wand to last at least 2 months.

Quick Take: long lasting, natural, easy to use
I am always nervous about colouring my brows. They are pretty good but still could use a bit of filling in and defining but I am always so afraid of ending up looking like Groucho Marx, which is easy enough to do. I wanted to purchase this brow "pen" in the lighter shade but it was sold out and the SA assured me the medium shade would work for me. She was right. This gives definition but still looks natural. It is easy to use and even someone a bit "ungifted" in the brow department can get a good result very easily. Some people say these dry up quickly, but so far, I haven't found this to be the case. I'm hoping my good luck holds.

I went into Sephora one day on a whim looking for something new to fill in and define my eyebrows. I had initially asked the associate for a powder because I heard it gives a more natural look than pencils. The sales associate recommended that I try this because with summer shortly approaching a powder would wear off and this is waterproof.
Needless to say I love the product. It is indeed waterproof and I never have to worry about it smudging. I am dark complexion and have black hair and the darkest color in this was the perfect shade (not too light and not black). I can never see myself going back to a regular pencil again. The only dislike is how small the pencil is for the price. Imagine about 1/3rd the size of a standard #2 pencil small.
Needless to say I love the product. It is indeed waterproof and I never have to worry about it smudging. Quick Take: natural, difficult to apply
I've used this about 9 days and everytime I think the applicator is empty. It takes a lot of patience to get enough on my very pale brows to look like I have anything on.

Stays great but have to keep uptight

It works great. Stays all day even after working out. I love it. But I have two complains. 1. It doesn't last as much. Using it once everyday, it runs out in a 2 - 3 months. Another is I need to keep the pen upright if i need to make sure I can write. If I ever kept it horizontal, I have hard time getting a nice dark line regardless how full it is.

Wanted waterproof got dry

Quick Take: unpleasent, dry
Have been looking for swim / gym grade eyebrow stain for a while. This product could best be described as water resistant, not waterproof. It also has very little product for the price, and the brush tip was continuously dry with no way of "inking" the tip. Unpleasant. Went on very very pale and took forever to mash on enough to show up at all.

where have this been all my life?

Just got this via mail today. This pen is so awesome. I apply it with light feathery strokes and it looks just like my natural eyebrows except so much better. I am Asian with black eyebrows that appear almost gray because they are so sparse. This pen fills them in making them look fuller darker but yet so natural. I never got this kind of results from other products before. I got the medium which I think is too dark because I'm use to wearing an ashy brown eyebrow color. I read somewhere that wearing a color lighter than your natural hair color makes one look younger. Well, even though it appear black on me, it does not look harsh or dramatic at all. I can't believe a pen can impart such natural results. I would like to see more color options from Stila though. Who knows, a lighter color may look even better. I think the light one available now are made for blondes. Anyways, if you like made up brows that doesn't look made up, give this one a try. It is long lasting and does not smear. I took my fingers and rubbed it and it stayed put. This is now my HG eyebrow product.
