Great kit with a few caveats

I absolutely love the mascara and liner and use them every day. The mascara wand is curved and makes application a breeze and the liner pen is great at getting RIGHT at the lash line for a really natural look or expanding for a bolder look. The blush is nice, but I'm just not much of a blush user. I also like the shadows, but reserve them for when I'm going out at night--I find them to be way. too sparkly for day-time, plus the sparkles tend to "fall" onto my cheeks. My biggest beef with the kit is the lip gloss--it is hideous! Too bubble gum/pepto bismol pink for my taste and it totally washes out my face (as if I were wearing cover up stick on my lips), which is weird, because I have fair skin.

Quick Take: good value, highly pigmented, shimmery
So i walked into my jcpenney sephora and imagine my surprise when I saw a whole lorac section =O…Well i high taled it over and found this amazingggg set. First let me start off by saying all these products are full sized (rare for a company to have all full sized items in a set for this price so when they say the value is 120 it literally is that amount GREAT VALUE)…now on to the products
The blush has a shimmer to it but settles into a subtle shine VERRYYY FLATTERING
The trio eyeshadows are extremely pigmented with two swipes with my fingers I got alottt of color though there is a lot of shimmer to each of the colors so if you don't like shimmer shimmer shimmer then this is definitely not for you
The lipgloss i tried and liked becuz it isn't sticky and a nice subtle pink that you can wear anytime
The mascara I tried and it seemed ok (though I'm not a mascara person so I don't really see a difference between one or another)
The liquid eyeliner I tried and loved it! It was super easy to apply and very pigmented. I did a cat eye in less in 20 seconds which usually takes me 10 mins to do per eye (Im a beginner) Will be using this product tomorrow for an afternoon birthday party and am soo excited =)

I bought this on a whim. I wear a paper mask most of the day at work.. Nothing really seems to stay on my face for very long.
This works for me. The colors are good. Its easy to apply. I like the tutorial for putting on the make up. Did not make my skin itch or burn after using. I love the eye colors. I got compliments from day 1. I am happy.

Quick Take: good value, travel size
This set is terrific. The mascara is long lasting with no flaking. Shadows are shimmery without being harsh. The blush is richly pigmented but blends easily. The entire package is well thought out which makes doing a day face easy and quick. Try it!

Quick Take: good value
Nothing really stands out from this set and i especially don't like the eyeshadows. I love neutral colors and shimmery eyeshadows but this trio is too glittery for day time wear and a bit boring to wear at night. It is a trio that is OK to have but I would rarely reach for. The other things in the set are alright. The blush is pretty natural and I'm so grateful that it's matte. The lipgloss is very good but the brush tends to grab more product than you need. The liquid eyeliner is probably the best in the set, completely waterproof and it even makes my eye pencil last much longer. The mascara is alright, not fantastic but it's OK to have. I bought this set on a whim and decided to gifted to my cousin instead of returning.

For the price this kit is very nice. I had hoped it was more of a neutral daytime kit but there is a ton of sparkle to the eyeshadow. The blush and lip gloss are beautiful shades worth the cost of the kit by themselves. I have not tried the liner nor mascara yet as I have too many of each to go through prior, but Lorac is a quality brand and I am sure I will enjoy their use.

What an amazing kit! For all that comes in the kit, you can not beat $39. A great gift for those needing help creating the smoky look, or for those getting to know the LORAC line. It's a must have for everyone! I'll tell you what's great and what's not...
LIP GLOSS (TREND SETTER)-
PROS: SMELL: like a fluffernutter sandwich LOL TEXTURE: very creamy, smooth, not tacky. COLOR: Gorgeous! Perfect pinky neutral to compliment a heavy smoky eye.
CONS: the brush wand is weird, like a lip brush and not a foam applicator lip. Great idea, but the execution is poor. The brush gets loaded with gloss so you have to remove some while pulling it out of the tube. Not a biggie, but there ya go...

PROS: AH-MAZING! I love liquid eye liner and have been using it since my mama gave me my first L'Oreal tube when I was 15. I've used them all and this one is a keeper. Goes on smooth and effortless. Produces a great cat eye flick every time. Does not budge or smudge. I LOVE it.

For the price and what you receive I am not sure how you couldn't give this set 5 stars... The blush is a perfect everyday blush, the eye shadow is amazing and stays on all day, the lip gloss is a perfect nude although it goes on to thick for me so I dab and then rub it in with my finger tip,and the eyeliner A DEFINITE favorite absolute love it. The only thing I do not like that much is this mascara...I would personally give it a 3 out of 5. Completely dries the lashes out...

This set is not only a fantastic value, but the product variety is perfect. You get all you need in this one set for such an amazing value. I have to say this is the best liquid eye liner EVER. Having left my make up bag at home on a weekend trip to Las Vegas, I found myself in a total panic. I headed over to sephora and needed to find a combination set with as many products as possible. One of the sales person recommended this set and I'm so glad he did! I had never tried Lorac products so I was a bit weary, but as soon as I tried them on I was pretty amazed. The eyeshadow trio is very pigmented and lasts for hours, even without the use of primer. I also really liked the liner. Application was easy and very precise. The blush was pretty, appropriate for daytime (I had to buy a nars blush for a bit more drama). The lipgloss was nice, but I probably won't be using it too often. Overall, this set was a steal for $39 and a total life saver! .

I've purchased my fair share of sets.. This one is hands down one of the best. The eyeliner is the best! I literally use it every day, the mascara is also very good. The eyeshadow is beautiful and would compliment any skin tone. Only thing I didn't care for was the gloss and that's just personal preference. If you're debating getting this, get it!

This is a great kit. the only other lorac product I've used before is Tantalizer, which is awesome as well! I use the products from this kit EVERYDAY. The eyeshadows are amazing... so much pigment especially when you wet the brush. But every product in this kit IS AMAZING!

I had been on the hunt for a good kit so I could try a new brand without splurging on all the products. This kit was even better than I expected! At $39, this is a steal considering all the items are full size. The shadow trio is high quality and goes on very smooth, easy to blend. The lip gloss is a bit sticky but stays on great and compliments almost any skin tone. The blush is a rich hue so I recommend using a light hand. This was my first time using Lorac products, but I'm glad I did because I'll be back for more!

I simply love the eyeshadow trio and the blush in this kit. Both are well pigmented and last all day. Have not tried the mascara and eyeliner yet. Looking forward to using them, though. I am not a fan of the lip shine/gloss. I find it sticky and not my color. I was so impressed with the eyeshadow quality, I bought the Unzipped palette a week later. Love it.

For about a year or so I've been debating to get this kit. I should have trusted my gut instinct and got it at first glance because this kit is a life saver! I love the eye shadow trio colors they're perfect! You can do a Mila Kunis look. The blush is a pinkish rose and you only need a little bit to look nice. I've been using the eye liner for a while before this kit and it's a favorite of mine. Lorac has some of the best mascara I've ever used. It seperates and adds so much volume to my lashes! The gloss in the kit is one of the most unique I've ever used. It's like a pink foil enveloping your lips. A bit weird when you first put it on but worth it. I highly recommend this kit!
