Luxurious Hair
-02.18.13
Quick Take: just what i wanted
I was looking for a new shampoo, had tried B&B,did not like, and the young lady recommended this. SOLD!!! My hair is soft, bouncy and beautiful. After spending a fortune on highlights I didn't want to wash them down the drain and I didn't want to sacrifice body. Too many color care shampoos leave my hair limp. Not this will buy again at any price!

Worsened Condition.
-02.02.13
My hair is chemilcally treated with around 20% greys. I do colour my hair frequently--every two months, and I am not interested in preserving colour because I am a guy so my hair is really short and I cut it once a month. Before using the shampoo and conditioner together my hair was lifeless and a touch greasy after washing every other day with a drugstore brand.
I cannot tell if my hair colour was protected, but my scalp and natural radiance was for sure not managed with this shampoo and the conditioner that follows it. My hair now is unbelievably dry, my scalp is itchy and irritated, and I am suffering from embarassing dandruff that is so obvious with my dark brown hair.
I will be returning this product.

Color protector
-01.24.13
Quick Take: hydrating, good for daily use
This product line keeps my red colored hair red! My hair has been every color, now it's red. This product line was recommended by my hair stylist and it works. I use the shampoo and conditioner, then the fluide before I blow dry. My color stays true, no fading.

Aggravating Packagine
-01.23.13
Quick Take: hydrating, smoothing, good for daily use, irritating packaging!
I am very happy with this shampoo - all except the packaging. I spent several frustrating minutes in the shower the first time I used it trying to figure out how to open the cap. I had to get out of the shower and put my glasses on before I finally found the arrows on the top of the lid indicating "open" and "close". Then the next challenge was my struggle to squeeze the bottle hard enough to dispense the shampoo. As much as I like this shampoo, I will not buy it again until they redo the packaging. The three star rating reflects my irritation with the packaging, not the product.

Gave me dandruff!
-01.03.13
Quick Take: drying
So I bought this and the matching conditioner after I colored my hair at the salon. After the first use, everything was fine, because I still had this super hydrating oil in my hair from the salon. After the second wash, my hair was SO dry, and it even gave me dandruff for a week. ick!

Good
-12.02.12
Quick Take: good for daily use
I use all natural products that are paraben and sulfate free products and this is a great product for someone looking for that and that maintains color in your hair.

Amazing!
-10.25.12
Quick Take: hydrating, good for daily use, smoothing
I love this shampoo! It creates a great lather and cleans the product out of my hair very well. I recently colored my hair and needed a fair amount of processing to get me back from the golden red that I was to my natural blonde. This shampoo didn't strip the color or damage my hair. My hair smelled great and was incredibly soft and had a great shine to it. One of my co-workers even commented on how soft my hair looked. I also prefer to wash my hair every other day and this shampoo didn't leave my hair greasy or anything. I could've gotten away with 3 days of not washing!

great product; horrible packaging
-09.16.12
Quick Take: hydrating, good for daily use
I've had 3 bottles of this shampoo now and I love the product. However, I'm going to have to give up on it because the packaging is so poor. Each of the three bottles has leaked excessively even with a fully closed lid. This last one did it with a brand new bottle before I even started using it.

Did not like
-09.14.12
I got this shampoo as a sample. I didn't like it at all! It felt very drying, like I immediately needed to get conditioner on my hair. Disappointed as I am in the market for a new shampoo.

I love the caviar products!! This makes my hair dull and feeling a little squeaky, like its dry and stripped. I will not repurchase this but highly recommend the caviar!

Bamboo Ole

Quick Take: hydrating, smoothing
I like the smell of the shampoo, the way it leaves my hair. Soft. I have not been using it long enough to know if the color protector works. Looking forward to finding this out.

Made my hair dull
-08.25.12
Quick Take: dull, heavy
If you want to use sulfate-free shampoo, either you should use clarify shampoo periodically, or you should not use any hair products with silicone in it. (No-silicone hair products are hard to find.) Otherwise, your hair will have build-up.
I used this shampoo along with Alterna's heat protectant which has silicone (dimethicone) in it. And my hair was getting dull and heavy, and then found out about this dimethicone(silicone) and sulfate-free shampoo. Now, I'm back to sulfate-included shampoo, and with a few times of build-up remove process, and with coconut oil, my hair's back to normal.
How can Alterna sells sulfate-free shampoo which cannot even clean their own product.
*** I saw Carol's Daughter has sulfate-free clarifying shampoo. ***

Fabulous product, hooked after trying a sample
-08.04.12
Quick Take: smoothing, helps retain red hair color longer
I color my hair deep red which fades so quickly, but when I tried a sample of Bamboo conditioner (not the UV), I found it helped keep my color fresher than my previous products. I finally decided to try the UV and spent the cash and have been very pleased. One complaint I have, is I just traveled with the bottles and no matter how tightly I closed the lid (you have to turn it to the click) the conditioner leaked and not a small amount of it.

No Thanks!
-06.17.12
Quick Take: thick, drying
My hair seems to be very oily during the summer and since its color treated I was looking for a light shampoo and conditioner because I had been using Ojon. I have thick medium-to-long length, full high-lighted hair.
I tried the Bamboo UV Color Shampoo for a change and had to return it immediately! It's thick, a bit tricky to open the bottle at first but most importantly it left my hair feeling stringy, tangled, and stripped of its natural oils. Even with the conditioner, my hair never regained its natural body or volume. Had to return it!
