This helped to keep my brand new brunette color fresh for 8 weeks after the initial dying (normally a blonde). I like that this conditioner is not heavy like other color protecting conditioners.

Works perfectly with the shampoo in this line. Keeps my red hair red. I do wish it were a little more moisturizing, but this line does have a deep conditioner as well

Quick Take: strengthening
does a good job for an all natural, paraben free, sulfate free product that maintains hair color. it isn't the best at hydration so I pair it with a all natural leave in conditioner after showering before i blowdry.

Just started using this, one thing I have noticed is it takes a little extra conditioner to get your hair to feel smooth and detangled,,, other than that, it smells good and I suppose it is doing what it is supposed to do. I do wish the bottles were bigger...

That product was recommended to me by the Sephora representative and I was pretty skeptical, but I decided to try it. I have very thin, frizzy, died hair, and I needed something to eliminate the frizz and to make my hair looks healthier. First two times I use it, my hair felt a little bit greasy. I reduce the amount of conditioner and I used it mostly on my ends, and now works fine, but I still need to wash my hair every other day. My hair looks way better, though...

This product had a wood smell that didn't really please me. The conditioner didn't make my hair soft or help my blonde. I would not use this again and maybe it was because my hair was dark and I went light. This might be better for more natural blondes.

I tried using this conditioner with it's shampoo on my thick, medium-to long length color treated hair and it only made my hair feel tangled, stringy and stripped of its natural oils. Smelled alright but definitely not worth using again. Had to use twice as much conditioner to feel my hair somewhat soft and smooth. Returned it and still looking for a light weight product that will help me wash my oily hair without stripping it of all its nutrients and color during the summer.

I've been using this along with the coordinating shampoo for a couple weeks and I love it! My highlighted hair was looking blah and this brought the colors to life again. My hair feels stronger and looks very shiny. The conditioner makes it easy to comb through. This is my first Alterna product and I will definitely try more!

I began using this right after coloring my hair. I"ve used it for a month and my color faded as much as it usually does. I'll probably keep using it because It doesn't weigh my hair down but it doesn't do anything to prevent fading as it suggests.

This is necessary if you use the shampoo from this line because the shampoo leaves my hair dry and tangled. This is hydrating, but I have a difficult time figuring out how much to use. Too little and my hair feels dry and brittle, too much and my hair is oily. Likely will try something different next time.

The product works very. The conditioner leaves hair soft and shiny and smells pretty good. The packaging is awkward. You twist the cap and have to squeeze the bottle and the product comes out of an opening at the top.

I tried this conditioner because I was growing tired of store-bought brands that were well...blah...I have colored my hair for years and this conditioner gives me actual shine and after I get out of the shower, getting a comb through my long hair is a breeze....It is alittle pricey, so maybe try a small sample-size first...

Quick Take: doesn't weigh hair down
I'm giving this four stars because I can honestly say that my hair color has not faded a bit while I've been using it, so I assume that the product does its job. However, I don't normally experience fade-out, so there's that. I didn't particularly like the smell of this conditioner, and I've used conditioners that leave my hair silkier. I love other Alterna products, but this just wasn't the one for me.

This is the worst conditioner I have ever used. Its absolutely terrible. I have never written a review for Sephora before but the quality of this conditioner prompted me to warn others. I feel like its drying out my hair not conditioning.

Quick Take: creamy, natural, light, hydrating, reviving
This conditioner is truly amazing. It makes my hair silky without the gross film that some other conditioners pride themselves on. I had been using Bumble & bumble Alojoba shampoo and conditioner; THAT stuff ruined my hair. It dried it out AND left a gross residue on it that made me feel dirty all the time. But with Alterna's Bamboo UV+ shampoo and conditioner, the FIRST day of use, I was getting compliments on how great my hair looked. Some people asked if I had gotten highlights/lowlights. It brought out the natural colors that were previously hidden by dryness, damage and residue.

I got the conditioner along with the shampoo. Neither of them really have a scent to them. They are both light weight which is what I like. The conditioner is creamy and its just the right amount of moisture.
