Good if you know how to use it
-05.24.13
I got this in the Autumn sunset set, which I bought because I loved the other set so much, did'nt exactly read well enough and thought I was getting another wild rose setting powder, which I love. At first was not a fan because I used it all over in the same manner. The way it sparkles and sets in the skin, maybe it depends on your skin, I didn't think it was very flattering. However when I stopped being thick, I realized I could use it similar to Benefit's High Beam. A little on the cheek bones and under the eyebrow is actually quite nice.

I love this powder!!!
-05.21.13
Quick Take: sheer coverage
Korres products rock! I read the reviews of this product before purchasing. Most liked it, some said they felt it was too sparkly. It works for me just perfect. I don't wear foundation but like a little sweep of a minerals powder. This powder is soft, does add a bit of shimmer but not too much for daytime. It feels good on. If you are looking for more coverage, this won't work for you unless you pair it with a foundation.

Beautiful powder!
-04.19.13
I bought this powder on an impulse yesterday. I was looking for an illuminating powder that didn't make me bronze. I am pale and I just wanted to use it with blush. The associate showed me this illuminator and it is so beautiful. It's very shimmery but not glittery and the TINIEST bit goes a long way, so for $18, it's a good deal. It will last FOREVER. I love it and I put it on my eyes too! So pretty!

Beautiful! I would not use it as a replacement for powder but it adds a beautiful glow if used as a highlighter on browbone and across the cheeks!

I found the applicator pad that is included to be way too bulky and saturated to be used to apply the powder. Would better be used with a light brush instead.

Very happy with this powder. A little goes along way but it is not too overwhelming. It gives you some brightness.

Perfect amount of subtle glow
-01.27.13
I have pale skin with pink undertones. This gives me the exact amount of glow I was looking for. It smells amazing. I apply with a fan brush, and also add some to my eye makeup under the brow and across the lid. Great stuff!

Shimmery and flawless
-01.23.13
Quick Take: oil-absorbing, sheer coverage
I really like the soft coverage that this powder offers. However, it is sometimes a bit TOO shimmery for everyday use. The more I use it the more I think that it should be used as highlighter, as opposed to an all over powder. The shimmer sometimes is so much that it makes the skin look shiny, and may even highlight impurities you are trying to hide...

Beautiful glow
-01.12.13
When I tried this in the store, I wasn't really convinced. I think the severity of the lights made it look like not much was happening. However, I decided to buy it anyway, and it's exactly what I was looking for - subtle, healthy glow that looks incredibly natural. I use a goat hair fan brush to apply high on my cheeks and up my temples.

lovely

Quick Take: sheer coverage
very nice and sheer. however, there is DEFINITELY shimmer in this product, so if you like more of a matte finish this is not for you. I have oily skin and this does not make it more shinny, but it doesn't help alleviate oil either. I really like Bare Mineral's mineral veil, which has a great matte finish and helps alleviate oil as well.

Drying but pretty
-12.28.12
I bought the whole Korres mineral makeup line hoping to find it not drying for winter use. I have older skin that needs moisture all day long but I like the look and quick application of mineral powders. This just didn't do it for me. Sorry, I returned them all. I found the new Bare Minerals pressed foundation to be my answer for a non drying powder foundation. I love it!

Slight shimmer, evens out tone
-12.27.12
Quick Take: slightly shimmery
I love this powder! I was looking for something to dust on after my tinted moisturizing and this powder is perfect. The shimmer brighten up my face and has an ever so slight coverage and evens out the red on my face. I would highly recommend this product!

Not A Replacement For Powder
-12.22.12
This is definitely not a replacement for regular powder or a powder that will set your foundation. However, when used judiciously, it gives a very nice glow. Be very careful with how much you use and how you apply though. It comes with a sponge applicator which should be immediately thrown away. Use a brush! I think another reviewer recommended a fan brush... I second that recommendation! I like this product, but it isn't a favorite of mine.

It does seem to brighten and illuminate my skin, but sometimes it makes it too... sparkly. Also the first time i use it, I dispensed too much powder and now I can't seem to get it to go back down. :( The powder itself is 'wetter' (could not find a better word to describe it) than other loose powders I've used, but maybe its because the others I've tried were oil-absorbing powders
But overall, it's an okay product and no allergic reactions from it, so I'll be keeping it.

I wish I was able to fully enjoy this product, but sadly, it didn't do much for me. I love highlighting where necessary and so, I took up the chance to buy this product after my SA told me she adored this product. I love that it's very finely milled, however, it just did not give me that "glow from within" like she mentioned. I would say I like the Dior Amber Diamond about 5x more for that beautiful, subtle glow. Therefore, I am taking this product back :(

Product Is 5*****, Packing Not So Much
-12.09.12
Quick Take: glittery, shimmery, messy, luminizing, wasteful
This powder is VERY VERY FINE. There is no way to shake the powder back down if to much comes up -- if you try more comes up! And if you try to coax it back down it will fly everywhere as it does indeed seem weightless.
Never ever throw this in your purse because when you open it all the powder will be on top of the sifter making it difficult to use without getting everywhere.
It would have been nice if the sifter could be locked shut, or only partially opened, to keep excess powder from escaping and to regulate how much you dispense.
Unfortunately even though I'd like to rate this 5 stars, I feel like I'm putting twice as much into the air as on my face and am also unable to take it with me on the go. So I feel I must mark it down. I will be looking for a new container to hold this product, until then I will not repurchase as I feel like I am wasting my money luminizing everything around me!

Fantastic!
-11.20.12
Quick Take: reduces shine, sheer coverage
I just love creamy texture of this and the Korres foundation powder. The Illuminating powder gives a nice glow, I wear it over my Korres powder foundation as the setting powder. Even coworkers compliment how fresh and smooth my face looks bright and early at 7am for shift at the hospital, like I had a facial. Please never discontinue! Goodbye Bare Minerals, I have officially converted.

Illuminating!
-11.08.12
Quick Take: glowing, illuminating, soft, flattering
At first I thought this powder was too shiny. However, I soon realized it gives a soft, very flattering glow to my complexion. Not at all matte or powdery which can be very aging. I'm soon to be 51. I have combination skin and this powder is a winner! The sponge it comes with works well too. I'm happy with this product.

I <3 <3 <3 this illuminator!
-09.25.12
I love this product! It is very flattering on my medium skin. I apply a little with a fan brush under my eyes, on my upper cheekbones, and down my nose and the effect is really subtle and pretty. You could use it anywhere for a special occasion. A little does go a long way, but when you use a light hand it's more subtle than many "illuminating" foundations or blushes. I will be reordering!
