Seems great
-05.12.13
Quick Take: easy to use
I don't write a lot of reviews and am typically not fussy about hair stuff, but this made my hair shiny and seemed to protect just as well as some Matrix stuff I had used previously. I'd recommend it, but don't feel qualified to give 5 stars as I am far from an expert!

Not what I expected
-05.07.13
This product is unlike any protectant I have used and not in a good way. I applied the product on both wet & dry hair and creates a hairspray like stickiness. I have never had to return a product to Sephora, this will be my first.

A must for use with hot curlers!
-04.29.13
Quick Take: lightweight, non-sticky, easy to use
I simply can't live without this spray! It's fabulous when used with hot curlers. It protects the hair from the heat and holds the set for much longer. I can never find it at my local Sephora so I always order it online.

Not bad I like it!
-04.26.13
Quick Take: lightweight, non-sticky
I really like this heat protectant. All of the other ones I have bought were the spray pump bottle. I had never minded those until I tried this one. I like that it doesn't make my hair feel wet and it smells good too.

Not impressed
-04.25.13
First of all, I thought I was purchasing the Oscar Blandi dry shampoo, which I had tried from a sample with my insider beauty card. I couldn't understand why the spray was making my oily hair seem even dirtier. This spray leaves my hair looking dirty so regardless of whether it heat protects or not I cannot use it. The can was high priced at $24. I wouldn't mind paying that for a dry shampoo that works but not for a heat protecting spray. It also smells like Old English furniture polish which is just not appealing. The scent has a lemon fragrance. but is overpowering. I regret that I am stuck with this bottle of product instead of the Oscar Blandi dry shampoo that I love.

Not bad.
-03.26.13
It's kinda weird to get used to, but I think it works ok. I think personally I prefer a wetter spray, so I probably won't repurchase.

Seems to work okay but does not smell good at all!
-03.23.13
I can't really tell any significant difference in my hair so it probably is working okay. However, I really hate the smell! Fortunately, the smell does not stay in your hair.

New "Staple" Item
-02.13.13
Quick Take: easy to use, lightweight
Love this stuff! A quick mist works so well at calming my normally poofy and wavy hair. It is so much better than other heat protecting sprays I've used that were supposed to be glossy but left my hair greasy instead. I can't even feel this in my hair and I use it daily to touch-up my flat-ironed hair in between washings.
It does smell like Lemon Pledge which some people may not like( though the scent doesn't linger in your hair). For me it brings back memories of "helping" my mom clean as a small child. :)

AMAZING!
-02.01.13
Quick Take: easy to use, lightweight, non-sticky
For half of my life I've been smearing creams and oils to stop frizz and use as heat protectants but this Oscar Blandi Heat Protect Spray is the one beauty item I can not live with out. The price is great and a little goes a long way! I spray it in my hair then comb it through. That's it! After I blow dry my hair it's so bouncy because there are no creams or oils weighing it down. oh and it smells nice.

Nice Scent and Adds Texture
-01.21.13
Quick Take: lightweight, non-sticky
I wash and blow dry my hair every two days, so it is necessary that I use a product to protect my locks. I have fine, limp strands that need lift and texture. This product, while protecting my hair from high heat, added a clean lemon-verbena scent while giving ample texture to my otherwise lifeless hair do.
Very good product and I recommend others to try it!

Not for thick hair
-01.16.13
I like Oscar Blandi products, but maybe it's because I have super thick hair, this just didn't work for me. Left my hair with flakes that looked dirty or like dandruff.

I can't really say if this works very well but it doesn't seem to have any bad effects. I lightly spray this product over dry hair before I use a heat styling tool and I haven't noticed any increased damage to my hair but the split ends still exist. Probably just simply because it's been too long between trims. It's light, has a nice scent, and isn't sticky. My heat styling tools do not seem to be affected by the spray.

THE BEST HEAT PROTECTION SPRAY ON THE MARKET!
-10.03.12
Quick Take: easy to use, lightweight, non-sticky, leaves your hair feeling wonderful!
I HAVE TRIED A NUMEROUS NUMBER OF HEAT PROTECTION SPRAYS AND NONE SEEM TO DO WHAT THEY CLAIM, UNTIL I TRIED THIS PRODUCT. IT DOES WHAT YOU WANT A HEAT PROTECTION SPRAY TO DO! IT ALSO ELIMINATES THE NEED FOR THE MANY OTHER PRODUCTS I USED TO USE IN CONJUNCTION WITH OTHER BRANDS OF HEAT PROTECTION SPRAY. IT MAY BE A BIT EXPENSIVE, BUT WORTH EVERY PENNY! THE ONLY DRAWBACK IS THAT IT IS NOT AVAILABLE IN MOST SEPHORA STORES AND ONLY AVAILABLE AT SEPHORA ON-LINE. I ALSO NOTICED THAT IN OTHER STORES THAT CARRY OSCAR BLANDI THEY DO NOT CARRY THIS PARTICULAR PRODUCT. I GIVE IT A A+++++

Can't do without this!
-09.14.12
This spray works great with hot rollers helping to hold the set without being stickiy or tacky. I used various products to be used with hot hair tools, but this works better than any others that I have tried. My hair looks smooth and shiny, and the curls hold even in my fine straight hair. Love it!

Ok so far
-09.08.12
I've only used it a couple of times, but I like that it doesn't leave my hair greasy or weighed down. Only drawback is that it kind of smells like lemon Pledge.

Loooove it!
-04.02.12
Quick Take: non-sticky, lightweight, easy to use, not greasy
I loooove this spray! Its the best heat protecting spray I've EVER used. Super light weight and NOT greasy at all, which was my main concern at first because literally every other heat protecting product I've ever tried always left my hair feeling greasy and nasty. This just leaves my hair feeling very soft, which is great because I have coarse frizzy hair and its very difficult to find good quality products that work with my hair type. I hope Sephora never gets rid of this because I will buy it forever! :)

Love It!!
-03.27.12
Quick Take: non-sticky, lightweight, easy to use
Smells like lemon pledge, but after you get over that shock it works really well. I have tried other "dry" thermal protect sprays that just wet your hair down and make it smoke with hot tools, this doesn't do that.

So dissapointing....
-02.27.12
Quick Take: disapointing, smells bad
....I love dry Shampoo, esp. since I live in NY and sometimes its so cold in the mornings that if I dont have time to fully dry my hair I cant wash my hair so I use regular dry shampoo and straighten/style my hair, and was so excited when I saw heat protectent dry shampoo.
WRONG! This item STINKS. I dont mind the lemony scent of the regular Oscar Blandi dry shampoo, but this just makes my hair smell like I havent showered in a week and makes my gym bag smell like roses. My hair is crunchy and I dont notice a difference at all. I know how to properly use dry shampoos and have been for years, but this is not worth the "styling heat protectant" that is questionable that it has. Ill stick with the regular Oscar Blandi that im happy with....
