It's a beautiful trio - universally flattering colours. The amethyst and the forest green work amazingly well as eyeliner as well. Great for both day and night!

Quick Take: highly pigmented, multi-dimensional, made for every eye color
As with any matte color you can expect that you must put in some effort to make the blend look perfect and this pallete is no exception. However, I will say that because the pigments are so fine that you have the luxury of using a little or a lot with what ever colors you choose to make a dark crease or a gentle wash. In choosing to mix it up a little, the Hunter Green came out spectacular on Kalahari II as an accent to the crease. The Purples are both what I would consider almost Demi Matte and in saying that you can again expect to have to work a little to blend them proper. This effort will pay off if you use all three colors as I did and go from green to dark purple to light as you go up from the lash line. The look is trendy as well as sophisticated and deep. You are not overpowered by shimmer or glitter. You simply have a deep color gradient that makes almost any color of eye look fantastic. My hat is off to the NARS team for knowing how to make what appears to be one simple color, multi-dimensional (Irridescent Amethyst).

As much as i absolutely adore nars blushs..i am highly Disappointed in this eyeshadow trio.
Idk how it's getting good reviews..the eyeshadow payout is pretty bad. While it looks gorg in the case, it's awful on the lids. Colors are chalky, dont last and hard to blend.
I tried like 5 different primers from LM one to the all time favorite UDP.
This trio just..sux :( Esp for the price you pay. Too bad bc i have hazel eyes and these colors are perfect.

Quick Take: very pretty
These three colors are gorgeous and note that there is hardly any fallout as compared to previous NARS eyeshadows I've purchased. Just remember to tap your brush before applying. Of course I would like to see the price a little cheaper . . . which is why I only gave 4 stars instead of 5!

i usually love NARS but this one is a miss. The colors are pretty in the case, but dont have much pigment to them. It took alot of layers to get any decent color. I would say skip this one.

Looking for a new bit of color after my first trial with NARS i ended up coming back to NARS again, intending on geting a single or maybe a duo, but the high society trio caught my eye. 2 perfect shades of purple that blend wonderfully, almost looking like a full gradient across my lid and then the green makes a wondeful accent.
NARS is high pigment, bleds wonderfully. NARS is pricy, and seems small for the price, but a little goes a long way and it is so worth it.

This is a lovely pallet for warm skin tones. I was a little concerned that the silver would be too cool of a tone. It’s not as long as I layer the light peach under the silver.

I just purchased the trio eyeshadow in High Society. This trio is part of the NARS collection for Fall 2012. All three colors are exactly as pictured online. Like all NARS shadows, the pigmentation is rich, the application is effortless, and the color stays true all day. I have to ask myself why I ever bother purchasing cosmetics from any other line. There is no better quality than NARS. Worth every penny!

Really pretty summery shadows but not for everyday

Ive really been loving these shadows when I'm going for that super beachy, summery-bronze look. Definitely not my everyday go to, but still very pretty. The peachy orange color is very unique while the other two are easily dupe-able. However the quality us exactly what you would expect from Nars. Happy I have it :)

Nars cheek products? Fabulous. Nars lipsticks? Spectacular. Nars eyeshadows? Still as great as the other two cosmetics. You literally get what you see. Great pigment, great color, and great consistency. Def worth the money.

Quick Take: easy, beautiful
I hesitated at first when I saw this trio. I was scared to death of the coral color and the amount of shimmer in the other two colors worried me. I'm so happy I tried it though! It's a very easy and effortless look for summer. After I got my spray tan done it is even better.

I love this color trio; the shot of the cool grey along with the peach and coral. BUT, the grey comes off very pale and more silvery on me and just plain cold. I have very light, but actually olive undertones and it's got an "ick" factor when applied as anything other than inner corner highlight.
The powders are smooth and blend well, but the overall effect is "meh".

Quick Take: portable, good value
I love both the Douce France and the Ramatuelle trios. The colors are great for summer. I even used the pink from the Douce France and the peach from the Ramatuelle together. You must use a primer with these, as the colors will run. They are so easy to put on with a brush.

The colors in the pallets are great. They are subtle with the right amount of pop to be able to wear them easily at work. It also wears for more then 12 hours without the need to reapply. A fabulous group of colors if you are looking for something to be able to wear anytime and anyplace.

I know some people have a problem with the color pay off for NARS eyeshadows but I have the Ramatuelle and it has worked very well for me. I admit I have a darker skintone so maybe that's why these colors show up brighter. The color also lasts hours. The combination of shades for this palette is complimentary and also on trend. Maybe the Ramatuelle differs from the other trios but I love mine and do not regret the purchase.
