Quick Take: good value
This is a good set of colors for me, although I never use the lightest one. The darkest red is deep and earthy, and the next darkest is just the right mixture of pink and plum. My only criticism is that the brush it comes with isn't great. I like to have a vacation set of eyeshadow, but this needs a better brush to serve that purpose.

The eyeshadow is ok. Stays on about 4-5 hours..even with shadow primer. The colors differ quite a bit between online and in real life. : ( For instance...the third color from the left is actually a dark red/brown. To me online it looks more like some pinks and a little plum maybe...but it is more burgandy.

Quick Take: portable, good value, good texture great colors smooth
I love the colors in this quad. They went beautifully with fair skin and blue eyes. The colors go on smoothly ( as long as you use your own brushes) and have decent staying power. I hoped tahat the shimmer factor would not be too much , but it was. As a woman in her mid fourties whose eyelids are just changing, I get so disappointed at all the beautiful colors out there that shimmer and ENHANCE any crape-ing of our eyelids. Way to feel old!

Quick Take: good value, great colors
This color pallet from Clinique is fantastic! all four colors work on all skin types, and they all compliment each other. They make my blue eyes pop!!! And the colors look great with the Black Honey lip gloss.

I decided to try this set on a whim, and so far it's been really nice. The colors are more sheer than I expected, which I like, and they go on in such a lovely way. These colors are pretty with a burgundy or soft purple liner.

Very cute and portable. I love the colors - they are versatile and can be sheer or more bold, depending on how much you wear. I can use this to make a very natural eye if I go light with it. I also love the colors so much, because they are very different and not like anything I have in any other palette.

The photo online looks like pink shades, but in person these are much more brown/neutral.
I wanted more pink so I was a little disappointed. All in all they are beautiful neutral colors.

This is only black honey product I've tried but the rumors are true, these colors are flattering on anyone! I love every color in this pallette, and they all blend really well together. I love the way purples play up the green in my hazel eyes.

I wasn't sure about this purchase. I have fair skin, red hair, and blue eyes. Normally I would run away from these colors. But when I put them on they turn very warm. I only use the darkest shade as a liner though. Love it! Just try it! And I like that it comes with a sponge and brush.

I was so excited to buy the whole Black Honey-inspired set from Clinique because I love the lip shade so much. Unfortunately, the Colour Surge Eye Shadow Quad did NOT work for my complexion. I'm fair skinned with gray-blue eyes and these colors made me look so sallow and almost dead. It drained every bit of color from my face. The quality of the shadows and packaging were exactly what I've come to expect from Clinique: spectacular. But the colors just weren't what I was expecting. I've always heard that the Black Honey lip color looked great on everyone and was hoping the same for the rest of the set. Not true. This was returned.

Quick Take: portable, good value
I've been wearing powdered mineral shadows and liners for years, and this palette tempted me back into pressed shadows. I love the black honey lippie, and between the two products, I get a whole-face coordinated look with little fuss. The case contains a large mirror, which makes application on the go a snap. The little fussy brushes are a hassle, but they're usable with a little practice. I'd recommend highly to anyone who can wear burgundy shades.
