These are great staple colors for those who don't already own the classic red and nude. Loved the honey berry and pomegranate, but the pink (as another reviewer already pointed out) is really a bit odd, so that's why I'm taking off a star. It reminds me of the Nicki Manaj pink friday lipstick, and I'm not quite sure yet how to wear it on its own. Layered with something else might be passable though.

I love this set. The color is lasting without being drying. You get a great color payoff and the colors look just like the colors depicted on the outside of the tube.

Quick Take: creamy, pigmented
These are definitely pigmented. So much that I just pat the pigment on with my finger, otherwise it gives a super strong color. These are very creamy and provide a very subtle, natural sheen, not matte. When I apply the colors not so strongly (i.e. not directly tube to lip), I really like them. They are good basic colors to have. And I like that the ingredients are more on the natural side than other lip products.

The red pencil is a great color, but the pink is too bright and pale, and the brown is too brown (not nude). The colors can be layered together to make them wearable.

first & last lipstick

First time trying lipstick as I'm more a tinted balm kind of girl. I've always wanted to venture into lipstick but couldn't find any that doesn't dry out my already dry lips or make me look overdone. These three shades are PERFECT and I love them all. The pink is beeeautiful and I can see myself wearing it whether it be on an everyday basis or on a date night. I always find red too flashy when I've tried on red lipstick in the past but this Bite one is the perfect red; dressy but casual enough without making it look as if I'm trying too hard. The brown can be said as kind of a darker nude. Such a steal with the price.
I hope they never, ever discontinue this trio pack, but just in case they do, I'm thinking of buying two or three for the future. I originally bought it for the pink shade (Bouquet) because I've read only positive things, and I intended to give the other two away to my friends, but I decided I can't live without the other two. Selfish, I know.

I love these lip pencils! They're not really matte, but they apply easily without drying out my lips. This is the best red lipstick I've ever used! Separately I hated the other two colors, but combined they create a great nude lip.

I am not really impressed with these lipsticks. They were not exactly "matte", which would be fine if the colors were wearable. The red crayon was okay but the two lighter shades were not for me at all. They were reasonably long wearing but the texture was not right somehow....too creamy? I won't be returning but I hope that my daughter will like the two that I don't.

Swatching these in the store made me purchase this set; I've been wanting to try these, and I figured if I didn't like them in the long run there were more of them to give away!
Pomegranate is an incredible red. It's long-wearing and I didn't need a liner for it. It didn't migrate or feather! It is awesome.
The brown color is kind of weird. I'm not sure if I'm going to keep it - it's SUCH a warm beige-brown that it makes my entire face look monochromatic. It might be good to pair with a colorful smoky eye... this one definitely needs a liner and feathered like crazy on me.
Bouquet is pinker than it looks online; it's not as warm as pictured. Not sure if I will keep it because it is such a blue toned pink (like a more mature bubblegum)... but it is super pretty.

Love these lip pencils! I got them mainly for the fabulously rich, matte red. They're long wearing and can be dramatic or delicate depending on how thick you layer the color. The packaging is also nice. Only down side is they do dry out your lips.

Quick Take: highly pigmented long lasting
I don't have enough good things to say about the red color in this set. It's the perfect shade, and it is long wearing without rubbing off on anything I brush up against. The other colors are not as bright, but equally long wearing. The Bouquet was closer to a light mauve than peachy pink, which I preferred. The finish is matte, but wasn't drying like many other lip stains. I will definitely buy the Pomegranate again, and be willing to try other colors in this product!

Highly pigmented; great value; classic colors

I got this as part of my Friends and Family haul. I was eyeing this for a while after I tried on the pink at the store and it was gorgeous! The texture was creamy and soft and the color was a beautiful pink that wasn't too light or too barbie. Because it is a pencil, the application is easy and simple - no messing up. It is extremely pigmented and I love that the colors are wearable - one color for every occasion. I highly recommend!

When I first saw this line I fell in love! 1. Its from Canada (I'm not Canadian but it's just cool!) 2. It's all made from edible organic ingredients so it's not harmful to you 3. It's aim is to moisturize and give your pout some vitamins!
So I was looking for a red lipstick and when I saw this as part of the package it suckered me in...u can never have enough red lip stick so many shades and just one pout yeesh! But when I tried it on at home...the rest of the day I had forgotten it was there I just thought I was wearing chapstick because it felt so light and moisturizing! The only time I kept remembering I had something on was when they would compliment me on it!! So I love my Pomegranate!
I've tried the Bouquet mixed w lip gloss and it gave it a nice twist on the color so I'm excited for when I do use it

I tried to buy these at my local Sephora store but sadly they didn't carry the BITE line. The girl who worked there was sweet enough to get me a free shipping coupon. I ordered these last week and I couldn't be happier. They go on very smooth and last a long time. Honey Berry is a perfect nude lip for my skin tone, and Pomegranate is a perfect bright red shade. I haven't worn Bouquet yet, but I'm sure I'll love it just as much as the others.

The colors were very pigmented- a lot more than I was expecting- and went on smoothly. However, Bouquet and Honey Berry weren't as "matte" feeling as Pomegranate. They definitely were more creamy, which I didn't mind at all.
