I bought this powder because of the reviews. I like that it blends in your skin quickly but you can still see a bit of a white film (similar to MF). I learned that a little goes a long way and helps reduce the white film. Also, I use a fluffy brush which is better than the powder puff, which leaves way to much product on the face. This doesn't settle in my wrinkles, which is a big plus!

This powder is so fantastic-- in the photo on sephora.com it looks super white and like it would pale out your skin, it does not. It is just awesome. It matte-ifies your skin without that weird powdery/dry look that a lot of powders give you. It seems pricey but it is a pretty big jar and totally worth the money. I will buy it again and again.

Don't get the hype

I just don't understand all the hype surrounding this product. I needed a powder and decided to give it a try because of all the rave reviews. I have tried applying it with the included puff and with a kabuki brush and the results are just average. I don't know if I am applying it incorrectly or what but it doesn't seem that different from any other setting powder except that it's more expensive. It does seem to be good for my dry skin but not that much better than other powders to justify the expense. If someone has tips on how to use this product and get amazing results please post it in your review. Would love to know if I am doing something wrong. This powder will likely be going back.

This product does everything that it should do. Its easy to use and apply and my makeup looks flawless after application. Very smooth, natural finish, very fine power, easy to blend and the best powder ive ever used. For all skin tones, I am african american and the white powder blends and compliments my skin tone

It is a great veil, I personally like more of a dewy finish to my face. This definitely is a great powder but gives you a matte look. I gave it to my daughter & she loves it!

I love this powder.It doesnt settle in my lines and makes my skin look silky. My co worker asked what I had changed because my skin looked radiant. The product seems a bit pricey but the jar is fairly large. I was using make forever hd powder. I like this one better and its not formulated with a bunch of chemicals.

I have fair skin with a redish undertone and have been looking forever for a loose powder that would match my complection and not give me yellow/orange face. Finally I have found one! I love this powder! It has a slighty matte finish which I prefer but it's not cakey at all. It goes on very smooth while providing nice coverage without settling into fine lines. Also, it doesn't irritate or dry out my sensitive skin. Maybe because it's formulated without colors, fragrance, petroleum-based mineral oil or paraben. It looks very white when you open it but it acutally blends very well on the skin. I was reluctant at first to pay so much for face powder but the container was a lot bigger than I expected, and a little goes a long way.

This sets my make up to last hours and it truely doesn't look cakey, u can load it on and still not look cakey, makes my skin look airbrushed... As the compliments keep rolling in i will continue purchasing this powder

The foundation from Koh Gen Do is perfect, as is this face powder. It looks really fair in the container, but it goes on soft and blends well. It is so finely milled, you won't be disappointed.

This is a very finely milled face powder. It appears white, but it doesn't look "kabuki" on your face. I can use a regular large powder brush and it doesn't pick up too much product. This glides on effortlessly and really helps absorb oil.

I love this powder! I press this into my skin after I use the KGD Aqua-foundation with a sponge. My skin never looks dry after using this. You cannot tell I put any powder on. Which is great as you get older.

This is cinema quality as it claims. The powder is truly translucent, super fine and doesn't leave any white cast or pigment on your skin. I recommend using this with a kabuki brush, it's like buffing on silk powder on your skin! Doesn't dry out my dry and dehydrated skin, doesn't accentuate or settle into fine lines. I have tried many different loose powders from low end to high end and this one beats them all. The best of all is that this is cruelty free! I hope Sephora will carry more Koh Gen Do products.
