Ninja SUPER Star
-11.10.12
I have used many types of face color, from bronzers to foundations. This one by Ultraflesh is right at the top! Excellant coverage - buildable if needed - smooth finishing look. The glow is healthy. No glittery bits just a healthy skin matching glow! I thought the shade might be to light for me, I'm medium olive/golden, but it was just what I needed for that change of season dull skin look. It's so smooth and moisturizing I have no fear of that dry winter skin look that can sometimes happen with powder types. This "GlamGrand" is a Super Skin Ninja with Ultraflesh!!

I used this as a bronzer and it just doesn't blend well, but the color and casing were great.

Awesome Product

Quick Take: great coverage matches skin perfectly
I bought this at the Summer Sale. It had a lot of great reviews. I was amazed. This has great coverage and lasts a long time. I still have oily skin, so it is hard to find something in a powder with good coverage. :)

Gorgeous but....

Quick Take: sheer coverage
The texture of this is amazing! Finely milled and luxurious feeling. It's very sheer but buildable. All of this is lost on me because my oily skin swallowed this up by the time I walked to the garage. Great packaging though. I used the "Radiant" shade. There are better powers if oil control is what you need.

Quick Take: reduces shine, sheer coverage
I'm really loving this powder, i bought it in store for $19. I got the color Diaphanous and it is the perfect shade for my asian skin tone. Most podwers give me a darker, slightly brown/red undertone. But this light shade is almost like a translucent poweder, but actually hels make my skin look brighter. I wish i bought another compact to stock up!

AMAZING!
-03.12.12
Quick Take: non-drying, natural finish, lasting
This powder has a creamy and silky texture but it does not go on as a cream. You will be floored at how flawless of a finish it gives. I am really not a fan of powder products because for starters they always look powdery and cake-y and secondly it adds more dark coloring to my already hard to match foundation for my skin tone. This powder does not look or feel like powder even if you build on the coverage, just don't over due it. I love that it wears all day into night while keeping my foundation fresh and lasting. Gorgeous secret weapon powder indeed.
Packaging: It's packaged in a black mirrored compact with a gorgeous 18k gold plated ninja star which is attached magnetically. It also comes with a powder puff and the tray holding the puff and covering the powder is a nice hinged deep enough plastic tray. A black cord is included to use the ninja star as jewelry.
Shade: This shade is DIAPHANOUS which is the lightest of them all and appears to be neutral with the palest yellow undertone to it. Perfect for my skin tone. It finishes my look without added beige or pink pigments I get from other powders making it almost invisible.
Don't let the names fool you because some of these powders are dark. It was hard to get information on the exact colors but the lightest after the one I got is Incandescent. I could use it but it's too dark for me and got it for my mother. Luminous would follow for medium skin tones and the rest after that are the darkest shades

Why are they discontinuing this! I just discovered it
This is an amazing powder. it's translucent and does not cake. It does not settle into fine lines and it feels like your wearing nothing. Plus it lasts all day and keeps your makeup fresh.
Diaphanous is the lightest and I'm adding a swatch. I also purchased Incandescent which is the second lightest and will add photo next.
Diaphanous is great because it's neutral and almost colorless. It has the palest yellow undertone.
One thing I dont like is how tiny the pan is and the powder will waste away quickly. I'm saving this for special occasions.
The ninja start is really fun too.

-02.26.12
Quick Take: non-drying, buildable coverage, natural finish
Love love love this stuff! I have tried so many powder foundations trying to find one that doesn't look too powdery and isn't drying. This one is by far the best. Like another person said, it looks just like my skin, but even better. Love the color, the coverage, and the way it just melts into my skin. Even looks good at the end of the day. Perfect!

Nice texture
-02.14.12
Quick Take: buildable coverage, non-drying, best if applied with large fluffy brush
Ok, so it isn't a PERFECT match for me (hence the 4-out-of-5 rating). The light shade is too white, and this shade is too dark. There's nothing in-between for us yellow tones. However, I apply with a light hand dusting with a powder brush and it isn't obvious. The texture is nice and hydrating. It doesn't make fine lines obvious, and it was on sale. I can't complain! I truly loved the Ultraflesh line. I'm going to be sad to see them leave Sephora.

Ultra soft, melts into skin, luxe!
-02.02.12
I purchased this in Diaphanous and Luminous, the 2 lightest colors. I am extremely pleased. The lightest shade is almost too light, but will work great for the rest of Winter. The next shade up is perfect, I'll be ordering another! The powder itself is silky soft, incredibly finely milled. I use it with a brush as a setting powder and only one swipe really loads the brush. It's almost like it turns from a solid to a powder at the touch. It blends onto my skin easily and leaves my face incredibly natural looking, not powdery or fake or chalky. Needs to be reapplied mid-day to keep oil at bay. No shimmer at all, a matte, natural powder. I am in absolute love. Not to mention the super trendy case! Very sturdy, very fun. I'll never use the throwing star necklace but it is a cool idea. Be aware the case is magnetized to hold the throwing star in it; I had both of these powders stacked next to each other and they magnetized to each other. I had to store them back to back! :) Highly recommend.

Natural-looking powder, cool packaging
-01.30.12
So…I kinda love this. I mainly got it because of the ninja star concept, but as it turns out, the powder is really good too.
The compact is a glossy black plastic affair that measures about 2 3/4 inches on each side and almost 1 inch thick. The gold-plated ninja star sits in a groove on the lid, and is held on by a magnet. You can easily take it off and wear it as a necklace pendant--they even include a simple black cord for you to do so. The ninja star is purely cosmetic; it is not sharp at all. When you open the compact, there's a generously sized mirror and a sponge. The sponge sits on a swing-open clear plastic divider that separates it from the powder below. I love this packaging because it's clean, portable, and mess-free.
The powder itself is good too. I get almost medium coverage with the sponge; it's enough to even skintone, hide redness, and diminish blemishes, but not enough to cover my acne completely. Of course, you can also use a fluffy brush for lighter coverage as a setting powder. When I sweep a brush across it though, it kicks up a lot of powder dust. Luckily, the clear divider does a good job containing all the excess.
The finish is very natural and skin-like if I use a powder puff and really press it onto my skin. It's not quite matte because it's got a bit of radiance that keeps my face from looking flat, but it's not outright shimmery or sparkly at all. It helps control oil, and does not oxidize or migrate throughout the day, even without a primer.
I have light skin. Of the two lightest shades, Diaphanous was way too light and Incandescent (the one I chose) was slightly too dark. Incandescent has a very slight yellow undertone, which is why it's so great for neutralizing redness.

Why Am I Discovering this so Late in the Game?
-01.22.12
Quick Take: natural finish, non-drying, silky, flawless application
Gorgeous foundation powder, but I also use it for setting liquid foundation or as a touch-up powder. As mentioned, the incredible fine quality of the powder helps it to apply quickly and never looks 'powdery'.
My local store is already sold out of my shade and I've fallen in love with the product. The only thing I'm not crazy for is the applicator that came with, sort of rubbery and difficult to clean.

Gorgeous finish

I really like this as a finishing powder, dusted on lightly with a big, fluffy brush. My skin is very fair and the lightest shade is perfect. The finish is not chalky and gives a soft glow without sparkle. Very pretty.

Quick Take: buildable coverage, natural finish, silky, bulky
Great coverage, nice staying power, nice finish. The powder turns to dust at the touch of the brush. Actually any agitation turns the powder to dust. When I opened the package it was so dusty I thought it had been used and returned. I think this is a good product but I don't recommend for travel or keeping in your purse.

The powder itself is wonderful, stays on,feels silky, great coverage, beautiful packaging. My only issue is the shades, they are all too dark, and the lightest color is just too light for me.Looks like the shades go from porcelain to medium,no light shade. If you find a shade this powder is wonderful.

I put this on top of my Hourglass primer. Beautiful & silky. I am pale and bought it in Diaphanous. Though the tester seemed a bit light, on my face it blended perfectly. It seems to have neutral undertones--at leat on me---not too pink and not too yellow. The finish is gorgeous!
