Strengthening and gentle

I love this shampoo. I love it's milky/creamy consistency and it's gentle smell. It lathers nicely and is gentle on my hair. I use this in conjunction with the phytojojoba conditioning mask and my hair is left very moisturized and feels stronger. That said, a healthy diet is also key in having healthy hair. I take a good multivitamin and an additional biotin supplement. Anyhow, this is a great product for me. Some may say there is a film or residue left on the hair after using, but I think that the film is actually the hair strands being encapsulated with the keratin. This shampoo is gentle yet it protects the hair from further damage with heat styling, etc. I'm a huge fan of Phyto. I use this 2-3X per week.

I bought this product online, along with another hair product, due to the stellar reviews. I am usually VERY pleased with Sephora products! But this one didn't only not work but made my hair condition worse...It felt straw-like, dirty & rough. I have wavy (slightly frizzy) hair that has been damaged from heated products and color. So it was disappointing, especially since I had such high hopes from the reviews, thinking it would help my hair significantly. Plus the price of this shampoo for what is does is not worth it (in my case paid to make it more unpleasant). I did get my refund though & Sephora was apologetic, which I appreciate! All and all it didn't work for me but seems to have worked for others, so take it as a grain of salt. I do believe there are better & cheaper products out there than this.

My hair has been very dry lately and after using this product once it feels very soft and strong. My hair was also a lot easier to blowout and did not need as much heat to straighten. Great product for women with dry, course or thick curly hair.

My hair is really damaged from constant bleaching, and Im currently trying to grow it out - so my hair is dyed, but the top 3 inches are healthy and the bottom is way over-processed.
I bought this as a last resort and it's definitely working. My hair doesn't feel like straw, it's smooth and silky. It's not longer huge and frizzy. I've only washed my hair four or five times and I can already see a difference. The only draw back is, my roots get greasy faster (I think this is the case for any undamaged hair) but I can still get away with washing every other day, and I can almoooost stretch it if I use dry shampoo.
It also has a faint glue smell, and a little bit of a sticky consistency but don't panic! My hair smells great afterwards, and after a good rinse and conditioner, it's silky smooth :)
I'll probably purchase this again!

Fabulous product! My hair was getting brittle and dry from using the bad relaxers, and I can honestly say that this shampoo made a huge difference after the first wash. It smells wonderful and lathers smooth. It's a gem that I just discovered and I am very satisfied with the results. My hair has sheen and softness to it, it's strong and looks very healthy. Most of it contains all, no parabens and chemicals. Great product for damaged hair!

I purchased this shampoo along with the Phytokeratine Conditioner about 4 months ago. My hair is very fine and pretty thin. It gets greasy very easily and I have to wash my hair daily for it to look even just OK. I am wearing my hair long again and decided I needed to get a better shampoo so tried this after reading reviews. I can honestly say that my hair looks and feels fuller and I have gotten several comments from my husband, family and friends saying how nice my hair looks. That has NEVER happened before. My hair has less breakage, which was a concern with it getting longer. Also, as a bonus, I don't have to wash my hair everyday. Really! I could maybe even go third day but that might be pushing it. I find that this shampoo works best if I rinse my hair really well first and as a previous reviewer suggested I have occasionally pre-washed with a regular shampoo first but I don't think that is really necessary. I'm finding that it foams up well enough without pre-shampoo and even if it doesn't, my hair is still clean and looks great. As I mentioned, I use this with the Phytokeratine Conditioner.

I've been looking for a sulfate-free shampoo for some time now. So many others left my hair dried out and dull. This is a fabulous shampoo. It contains no parabens, phthalates, or petrochemicals. Leaves my hair shiny and clean. The fragrance is minimal but smells fabulous. So fresh. I don't even use a conditioner with this. I am able to brush through my hair with a wide tooth comb after I shampoo. I use it everyday and it doesn't dry out my hair.

I have thick hair with breakage. Was hoping this would help out my hair. I wasn't expecting miracles, but this did nothing. I used the conditioner as well as the serum. My hair didn't feel soft at all and actually looks and feels rather greasy....
I only used it once. So maybe with continued use it would work better? I returned it though because it was so expensive and didn't seem worth it to me.

This product works great for my very fine and long hair. I’m very satisfied with the result I got after two weeks of use - my hair noticeably stronger, thicker, silkier and shinier. When I read the reviews I found out few main complains from people using this product, they say it is overpriced and lives hair greasy. But possibly it is because the description how to use this product provided by Sephora is not correct and not everyone learns how to use it in the instruction paper that comes with the shampoo (translated in different languages). FOR THOSE WHO DIDN’T USE IT YET AND GONNA BUY IT - THIS IS SHAMPOO TREATMENT AND SUPPOSED TO BE APPLIED AFTER YOU WASHED YOUR HAIR WITH THE REGULAR SHAMPOO ! After washing your hair with you regular shampoo apply small amount of this treatment on the damp hair leave for about 3 - 5 minutes, rinse and apply the conditioner. Ones again this shampoo will not wash your hair it restores from inside like a mask. I hope my review will help someone make a right choice.

This shampoo made my very thick and dry hair feel greasy and weighed down. I have bought drug store shampoos that were better than this. I returned it, as was not even close to being satisfied with this shampoo.

My problem is that I have bleached blonde hair which is dry at the ends and sort of rough. On top of that the winter makes is worse. I have used Bamboo, Bumble& Bumble, Fredrick Fekhai and all that stuff. This product caught my eye because its infused with Keratine and is Sulfate-free. After ! wash, my hair felt silky smooth and that was BEFORE I applied the conditioner to my hair. My hair is absolutely transformed after 1 simple wash: it's smoother, silkier, shinier and bouncier!!! I love love love this! Try it and you will see for yourself. Another great thing about it: while it does transform your hair, it does not weight it down like most shampoos.

this shampoo is amazing! first, a little goes a long way....and I don't say that as a cliche. I really mean a little bit lathers up nicely. I have hair down past my shoulders and only need a quarter size amount to wash. additionally, my hair breaks easily, and I have noticed a lot less hair in my brush since I have used this shampoo. my hair feels softer than ever!

It's not a lot in that bottle, but I am fairly pleased. It's less cost than Kerastase.
It's a fairly thick shampoo, so make sure your hair is really wet. I put a half-dollar amount in my hand (I have very long, wavy, thick hair) and rub it between my hands to disbrute and break up the glob. I put it in at the scalp, and make sure to hit everywhere along your scalp since it doesn't spread easily around. I massage it around my scalp, and it does transfer down the ends, and then I let sit for a little bit. When I rinse out before applying conditioner my hair feel healthier.

I have real thin hair..soft and shiny but thin...I wanted something to stop breakage and though I am nt sure this does that, this certainly makes my hair feel fuller.
This is the best phyto shampoo and i prefer thi sto phytocyane ..I am hoping I will stop the breakage too completely and get back some hair :)

I have rrrreally straight, thin-but oily- hair. I used to have split ends and the traces near my face and down the neck would tangle even with tjhe A/C!!!!

The inky blue color and lack of perfume smell can be unpleasant to some people, but this shampoo gives my pepper-salt hair a great silvery sparkle. I have tried several shampoos for gray hair and this one is the best.
