I have combination skin and have tried so many moisturizers... this by far is my favorite! It makes your skin feel fresh and clean, and wont make you look oily.

Used this entire bottle to give it a fair chance. Overall I'd say it's so-so. It didn't help with my blemishes ad was also drying. Won't purchase again.

I'm originally from NY but was living in the UK last year. I fell IN LOVE with this product, even brought back 4 bottles when I moved back to the states. I was so excited when Sephora started carrying this brand, especially this lotion! It's definitely worked wonders for my combo skin, and truly helps with the little break outs I get due to hormones (I am 23 after all). Basically, I swear by this product!

I don't want to say this moisturizer does not do its job. I really think this hot & humid weather in nyc has not helped my oily skin at all. i wash my skin thoroughly, started using witch hazel to my routine and use this moisturizer. I also blot my face during the day. It helps a bit but I will probably write a review once the temperature drops and autumn weather is in full effect.

Quick Take: lightweight
I was told this was for combination/oily skin. But unfortunately, it just made my face super shiny and oily looking. It didn't seem to absorb any oil...just create the look of more. Sadly, it didn't work as an oil-control lotion and I'm returning it. I tried it for 3 days.

I was really excited to get this,but was very disappointed when after 2 hrs my skin was extremely oily and shiny. I put this all over my face, and the only part of my face that was a little less shiny was my forehead, my skin isen't even that oily so I was very disappointed, not worth the money at all.

This doesn't banish my oil completely, but I didn't expect it to. I apply it every morning after washing my face and apply my regular liquid makeup over it, and I definitely noticed a reduction in the oiliness of my skin by midday. I use oil blotting papers in the afternoon and after a week of using this, the oil on them was much less.

I hate to be that person, but this absolutely did nothing for me. I have a very oily t-zone and I've been looking for products that'll keep that under control, and this was definitely one of the worst that I've tried. It's kind of a blue gel and when applied, it's no longer blue but it definitely did not absorb into my skin at all. It left an oily film even if I applied very, very little. I really wanted to like it since I had heard so many good things about Soap & Glory in general, but I just could not get on with this at all.

I have been on the hunt for a moisturizer that is not too heavy and greasy for my ioily skin. I have finally found it! This is a very nourishing and moisturizing daily moisturizer and it leaves my skin silky and helps to mattify. Definitely controls oil. I mix this in with a dab of my Proactiv medicated lotion each night and morning.

Il admit i was sucked in by the cute packaging, but when i read what its supposed to do and that it has salicylic acid i was intrigued. i definitely don't put this on every day because of the ingredient but i use it every other day for the past few weeks. I like that the salicylic helps prevent or fight breakouts. it has a strange feeling but if you use enough and let it dry correctly it won't feel tacky. the only thing i am not crazy about is the scent, it has a clean smell and its not totally unpleasant. Id prefer it to be unscented.

This stuff is so great for my combination skin. Especially my huge pores. It's really helpful in controlling the oil on my face as I tend to sweat a lot. And I love how it also calms my extremely sensitive skin. My skin feels so soft and smooth. I LOVE IT! And it smells amazing! So fresh and clean!

Controls my oil!

Now, I know not every product works the same for every person, but: Finally!!! An oil-control product that actually controls my oil!
I have sensitive, combo skin that usually gets a sheen of oil by midday. It isn't tons of oil, I guess, but I don't really look "fresh." But this lotion does the trick, gosh darnit. I can't say enough good stuff about it.
It feels good going on and absorbs quickly. I notice a bit of smoothness to my skin's appearance right away. And at midday, I still look mostly the same - yay! I put my SPF 45 sunscreen over this lotion (after letting it dry for about 5 minutes) every day, and I have zero sunscreen-greasiness. The lotion doesn't bother my sensitive skin, and there is no distinctive smell.
I don't use this at night, as the instructions say. I only use it in the morning to control oil throughout the day. My pores have tightened up since I started using it, but I also started a different skin care regimen, so I can't say for sure what did and didn't help.
Bottom line: I love this lotion. It definitely contributes to the success of my no-makeup makeup look, I go sans foundation and still look pretty. Thanks, Soap & Glory!

I love this! It keeps your face matte and helps get rid of redness. I can't even see my GIANT pores! Also, It doesn't feel like its even on! It creates an oil-absorbing barrier between your skin and your makeup and make foundation look AMAZING! My skin feels so silky smooth, I love it! DEFINEATLEY BUY!

This moisturizer is really light and feels wonderful on my skin! However, I have EXTREMELY oily skin and this lotion does a decent job of keeping it contained, but it doesn't completely eliminate it which is what I was hoping for.

This stuff is amazing! I never ever used any kind of moisturizers prior to this because they all felt greasy, or left residue, but this is so different. Immediately you can feel how light it is; it feels thin almost water like. When you apply it, it quickly dries on your face and you can barely feel it on. It makes your skin a healthy matte and you can notice how it visibly minimizes your pores. (it is reminiscent of a light primer) After two days of use I noticed the oiliness in my T-zone completely gone.
I've been using this product on conjunction with the "Aint Missbehaving" face wash (as recommended by a Sephora employee) and my face has never been this clear or smooth before!
