Quick Take: long wearing
I absolutely love this eyeliner. It is thin, precise, long lasting and completely weightless on the eyelid. Once on it is not smudgable, and yet easily removed with an eye make up removed. Tarte need to come up with more colors in it.

Quick Take: long wearing, immovable
I had previously used Stila's equivalent product and was looking for something with a bit more control during application. This liner is a bit better in that regard, though I have to store it with the tip pointing down, otherwise the brush tends to run out of product very quickly before I have a chance to finish lining both my eyes. I think it is a good product -- very waterproof and will stay on without budging as long as you need, but it's not exactly what I'm looking for so I'll be trying something else when it runs out.

All I use is liquid eyeliner and have tried many other brands in the past. This one definitely works! It dries fast and does last all day w/out smudging or running. It also does not flake. I use to use the shu uemura one that you can't get anymore and this is the next best thing! I have oilier lids too throughout the day where I can't use pencils, and this didn't transfer and lasted.

It was suggested to me by a sephora girl. I didn't think much of it since I was in a rush. I got home, tried it and I loved it. It goes on super smooth and gives you a very precise line.

I hate liquid eyeliner because it smudges, bleeds or just kinda sucks. When I walked into Sephora and saw this, I lined it on my hand, gave it 2 seconds and rubbed it with my finger. Didn't move. So I licked my finger and tried again, still didn't move. I was sold! Lasts all day and doesn't bleed or appear on my upper eye lid like most eye liners do. I've told friends about it and they love it too!!

Before I found this product, I swore by Stila's liquid eyeliner. However, in a search for cruelty-free cosmetics, I found this eyeliner and LOVE it! I wear my eyeliner in a thick cat-eye and need something that will stay put all day. The application of Tarte's eyeliner is very smooth and stays on all day without smudging or flaking. I am very satisfied!

I went back to using eyeliner and remembered why I used liquids in the past - It doesn't budge! Almost all of my makeup is Tarte, I love their mascara as well. The first pen that I bought seemed to dry out pretty quickly, I would have one eye done and half way through the second when the pen seemed dry and would just wipe off what it touched, not cool! However, I got a new one and it seems wetter (and the packaging is a bit different too) so I wonder if something changed. I don't know about lash thickening promises, but this is a good natural liquid liner. I do sort of wish it came in a pot though, that way you could re-wet the tip.

Quick Take: long lasting, dark
I was getting so frustrated looking for an alternative to the Kat Von D Tattoo liner (which I love but I'm afraid it will soon stop being cruelty free since most of sephora's house brands now test on animals in order to sell in China). This eyeliner also has an amazing thin brush/ tip that is easy to use, doesn't budge or smear and to boot it is made of MUCH better ingredients AND helps boost lashes!

Quick Take: long wearing
I decided to give this a try instead of my usual Stila Stay All Day liquid liner, and I am not very impressed. First of all, I see no difference in lashes whatsoever but I assume that must take some time. Second, it does not go on very dark and I have to do at least 2 layers to make it look like a solid dark black liner. Third, I don't like whatever material they used for the tip of this liner - it makes a nice smooth line, but dries out way too fast which leads to tugging if you are taking too long trying to line your lids! Other than that, it does have some decent staying power, but after this experience I think I'll stick to my beloved Stila!

This is my first review on Sephora. Only doing this because this liner has really WOWed me. For those who want a comparison to Stila's liquid liner pen, here it is:
1. Tip does not feather like Stila's
2. Tip doesn't skip/dry up
3. More precise line, softer handle (may require steadier heands)
4. No parabens
5. Lashes improve in lushness
6. A VIVID black, that's buildable
7. All-day/night wearing

I can't say enough great things about this eyeliner! Most liquid eyeliners easily smudge and apply unevenly. Not this one. This product is very dark (comes in black only) and applies soooo smooth; absolutely no skipping. It lasts all day and all night and on through the next day (vegas. **cough**) without irritating my sensitive eyes. This eyeliner 100% deserves a spot on Allure's Best of Beauty.
Bottom Line: I will never purchase another eyeliner. ever.

Quick Take: hard to use, dries very fast
This is my first liquid liner and I have a hard time putting it on so that it doesn't look harsh on my hazel eyes and fair skin. I wouldn't buy it again. If you make a mistake it is hard to correct it because the stuff dries instantly. It might be great for the real pros at applying liquid liner, but it isn't for beginners.

Absolutely love this liner. This is the first time I have bought a liquid and found it easy to apply without mishap. The liner provides a smooth smudge-free line that can be thin or bold. I personally bought this liner for more dramatic eyes but it can definitely be toned down for a casual makeup look. I'm pretty sure I won't be able to go back to regular liner. Also quite thankful this product is cruelty free.

Quick Take: my new go-to liquid eyeliner
This liner doesn't even smudge as you put it on. I love how smooth it is and the thin thin applicator gives precision lines! I read previous reviews before finally deciding on this one and I'm glad I did. It's affordable and it goes on great and lasts all day. My other favorite sometimes smudges if I tear a little or when I'm sweating. But this one has lasted through everything. Love it.

I bought this liner to replace my chemical-laden liquid liners (sometimes, no matter how many times you try with gel liner, you cannot get that perfect flick at the corner of your eyes to match!). I was impressed by the fine tip, but noticed that the sumi-e brush dries very quickly. This is the only downside I've found - this is great liner, and it washes away very easily when you want it to. It is also the only liquid liner I've found that does not irritate my eyes (I wear contacts).

I love tarte, but I wasn't impressed with the eyeliner. The tip was too skinny and I couldn't make the line very thick without going over it several times. At least it has good staying power, I just wish the makeup came out thicker
