Something to get used to
-05.14.13
Quick Take: highly pigmented, difficult
I really liked it at the store when I tried it - possibly because it was already broken in. At home with my new purchase, I had to click forever to get any product out, and when it did, there was way too much. It doesn't go on very smooth and because it is quick-dry/crease-resistant, it was VERY difficult to blend. Hello, splotchy eyelids...

Great shadow, Bad packaging
-05.05.13
Quick Take: blends easily, highly pigmented, crease resistant
I clicked & clicked & clicked, watching the applicator brush for sign of first color. Then I realized the product had leaked out of the seam (for want of a better word) in the plastic tip part (I am not so good at description - sorry). I certainly got enough product from there to wear as intended but the rest was on my hands and sink and it was a mess! It sure does have good staying power: Didn't crease on my eyelids and it was really hard to wash off my hands, sink, & counter.
I thought about simply transferring the product and keeping it in a little jar or just take my chances with a replacement but at $36 I think the mechanism of the packaging should work so back it went.

Really like this - quick drying!
-04.08.13
I have this cream shadow in Taupe - which is a great staple shade to own.
It has a nice creamy velvety texture. You can of course build up the color - as you can with most cream shadows - but you'll probably find all you need is one layer of color.
It does dry down really quickly - I say you have 30 seconds or less of play time to blend if you want. Work one eye at a time. Once it sets it won't budge!
I've had no issues with the pen applicator; it took about 10 to 12 clicks to get it started and then it came up easily.
I've attached swatches of the shade Taupe below.

Love product but component failed.
-03.30.13
Quick Take: blends easily, highly pigmented, component fell apart
I have just started trying to wear eye makeup again since loosing most vision in one eye.And eyes are too sensitive for powders. So, I've been trying creams and this one is great. Stays smooth and creamy until you have finished the application. Second time I was using product the whole component fell apart. Now this is heartbreaking as my closest Sephora is an hour away and I am only beginning to learn to drive with one eye. Also I had already ordered two more colors of this shadow. So disappointed.

Love this product!
-03.23.13
Quick Take: highly pigmented, crease resistant
Love, love, love this stuff! I use the white color on my lids just underneath my eyeshadow to make my eyes pop. I used to use Bobbi Brown cream shadow, but it was harder to use the brush to just cover my lids and not get it all over. This brush is perfect to coat just the lids and is thick enough that you don't need to use a lot.

Great stuff!
-02.03.13
Quick Take: blends easily, highly pigmented, crease resistant
I don't usually wear creamy shadows, but this intrigued me. It took a little practice to apply - dispense a tiny amount onto back of hand, and then use the applicator to apply. I love it on its own, or as a base for more shimmery or sparkly shadows. Once it's set, it stays put! The finish is matte, but not dull -- the colors are rich and complex.

E108
-01.13.13
Quick Take: blends easily, highly pigmented, crease resistant, lasts all day - 20hrs
I have been using E108 for more than a year and I adore
everything about it. I have crepey upper lids and do not want any sparkle that would only enhance that condition.
This formula s easy to work with and only has a slight
sheen that appears natural. This shade is deeper than it appears online and is perfect for a natural polished daytime shadow! Looks great with deep blonde hair since the color
of the shadow is repeated in some of the darker strands of
my hair. Will try more Ellis Faas!

Love this creamy shadow!
-12.21.12
Quick Take: a great shade, smooth and blending
You click it up and the liquid/cream makeup comes out through the brushes of the applicator. It goes on smooth, it doesn't crease and it blends so well and so fast. I got this for a base layer for a smokey eye and it is fast and perfectly smokey brown.

Quick Take: dry, doesn't go on well, bad applicator
This product is AWFUL. It's too thick to come out of the pen without clicking a million times, then it dries and crusts up the applicator overnight. It dries very quickly making it hard to blend.
Complete waste of money.

E109
-07.22.12
Quick Take: blends easily, highly pigmented, crease resistant
I have this shade as a base/primer. It has a soft cream-to-powder finish. It stays put once it dries and dries fairly quickly so blend ASAP. I know everyone complains about the price tag but I can totally appreciate this line and its design. It's so unique! I keep the pens pointing down (as if they were in the Ellis Faas pen holder) when not in use to ensure that the product will come out with only just a few clicks. I want to try milky eyes next.

Nice product with terrible packaging.
-07.05.12
Quick Take: blends easily, crease resistant
I love, love love this creamy, stay put shadow. The problem is the packaging. It's just terrible and a shame. You cannot really regulate the amount that comes out of the brush (two clicks not enough, then somewhere at around four to ten clicks it spouts out and curls around and you have way too much product). I feel like you waste soooo much and why would anyone ever use the brush? It's better designed to apply lip gloss than eyeshadow or contour cream. I would give it a 5, I honestly would if the price point were better for a great product matched the amount of the shadow you use vs. waste. I would be happy paying full price if it was packaged better. Please, put it in a pot so I can better regulate how much and where I want to use it!

Great product, componant - not so much
-06.04.12
Quick Take: blends easily, crease resistant
I bought a couple of these thinking "how great to throw in my bag and take along". Well, the first day I applied one of the shadows - the texture and wear were terrific! Loved it. The second color, I pulled the lid off and the componant was cracked/broken and product EVERYWHERE inside the cover. Not what I want rolling around loose in my bag.
I'd say I love the product, but don't trust the packaging at all . Returned both I purchased.

awesome but expensive
-04.17.12
Quick Take: blends easily, highly pigmented, crease resistant, long wearing, flattering neutral color
saw this in 105 on lisaelridge.com and had to have. it is everything that you want in a cream shadow--smooth, highly pigmented, blendable and doesnt crease. the color 105 is very pretty--a natural medium brown. Watch lisas review to see the color it is the same in real life. I will definitely be back for more when the next vib discount is made available

Not what I expected
-04.05.12
Unfortunately, this wasn't what I thought it would be. It goes on nice, but dries fast and looks cakey on the eyelids. Also looked creasy. The color is also bland. Wish it had been thinner and stayed moist looking.

-03.17.12
Quick Take: highly pigmented, crease resistant, blends easily, long lasting
It's the perfect product to use when going from day to night. If you happen to use the milky eyes in the day you could go over it with the creamy eyes and it would be flawless, I think it is a bit pricey but very recommendable!

Love this product
-02.25.12
Quick Take: blends easily, highly pigmented, crease resistant
I bought 109 and use it as an all over shadow base/primer... color lasts 12 hours+ with either by itself or with cream shadow (I've used Urban Decay 12/7 shadow pencils) or powder (NARS or Bobbi Brown) with no creasing or fading. A little goes a long way, so although its pricey, it should last a long time.

this stuff is expensive and i'm not sure whether or not it's worth it yet. the brush isn't the best applicator, it applies a bit streaky and dries SO fast you can't really blend it! but the colors are gorgeous and it does dry super quick, super opaque, and stays on FOREVER.

I bought 107, plan to get 105 next. Blend a little on the back of your hand before you apply - it will go on smoothly with no lumps.

Crease-proof, lasts all day and night!
-11.28.11
Quick Take: blends easily, highly pigmented, crease resistant, great neutral shade
This liquid to powder shadow goes on smoothly and evenly, blends easily (just be quick, as it sets almost immediately), then it stays in place until you take it off. 105 is a wonderful neutral, mushroomy taupe and matte. Great for day, add more for a smoky evening eye. Love it!
