Love Black Honey... not this

I've been wearing black honey lip products for years. I recently started using Clinique Peony, which is multi colored powder similar to this but in peach tones.
Loved the idea of this, but the shimmers kind of accumulated in lines on my face and made me look older and my skin look dry.
Oh well

Quick Take: great on the lids!, just so/so on the cheecks..., great for travel.
LOVE these soft colors as eyeshadows! Longwearing, a little goes a long way and lasts all day/evening. As blush, just OK (just don't overdo it or it can give a "bruised" look). Very neutral on. Would have given this 5 stars if it had been sold as eyeshadow instead of face powder/blush!

This is an amazing color. Totally natural. Not to dark, nor too pink. I plan on stocking up if this is truly a limited edition. Perfect highlighter and blush.

I loved this so much I ordered another for fear they would discontinue it. Yes, there is the purpling that happens, but with a little blending, it's absolutely perfect. I just do a little tinted moisturizer and this and I'm all set. I love everything black honey.

took one star off because the packaging came with two huge stickers on both sides of the compact, and when I removed the top sticker (where "Clinique" is written) I was left with this permanent sticky glue on top. Ugh. But the color is beautiful, definitly use with a light hand if you are fair skinned, as a little goes a long way. Nice sheen, buildable. The sticker on the back does not say "Black Honey" but "Berries".

Quick Take: soft shimmer, sheer coverage, versatile, perfect color
I love this product. The color is gorgeous, blendable and has just the right amount of shimmer, also super-versatile, I use it as blush and eye shadow too. I would have given 5 stars except for the compact, it's kind of chintzy and doesn't have a mirror

But, alas, it really wasn't for me. I have a hard time finding a blush that looks right on my medium skin. This wasn't it, however it is a very nice blush. Wish it worked for me. Instead, I found Smashbox Blush Rush in Heartbreak. Much better!

after reading reviews I was so excited to try this product out. I was so sad, I looked like I had bruises on my face when using as a blush. I had hoped for a natural blush look but instead was trying to avoid certain colors in it. I had to send it back as it was not a good match for me.

Quick Take: long-lasting, buildable
This color really looks nice on my skin, but I do usually opt for the cool tones and that is how it looks on my skin - I would be interested to see how this looks on someone who does warm tones. Its also very long-lasting, and it does build quickly - I overapplied a bit one morning and assumed it would wear off over the day, but it looked as bright and fresh after a 12 hour shift as it did before work! Definitely a great product.

I'm very fair, black haired with blue eyes.
I was ecstatic Clinique brought back their "black honey" almost lipstick so I decided to buy this as well!
I was not disappointed. Goes on a bit dark but that can be fixed. Has a very soft shimmer and gives a beautiful glow.
Love it. Thanks Clinique. I wish everything was Black Honey.

This is a pretty blush. It gives you a subtle glow that is very flattering especially for those who like a more natural look. The colors look great individually on your eyes, as other reviewers have mentioned. I highly recommend this product.

This compact is amazing! Even with my fair skin, I can get a soft, non-bronze colour that is natural, and not too dark. I use a huge powder brush for a diffused finish...very flattering any time of the year!

I Love this! It's perfect on me. I'm Italian with dark hair, brown eyes and a medium complexion. I used the dark colr and the medium on my eyes, the med/dark on my cheeks, put on lip balm and patted the dark on my lips. A whole face in one compact. Some people said their cheeks looked bruised with the product. You have to use a small fan brush to apply with a light touch. Blend with a flocked sponge.I've been using the Black Honey gloss for 38 years.. This is a Holy Grail product for me. Love it!

Best multi-tasker ever!

I love this! Considering it's limited edition, I may have to stock up, although I think it will take many, many months to use this up. I use this as an eyeshadow and blush/illuminator. For eyeshadow, I use the medium color for my lid, the darker color for the crease and outer V and the light color on my brow bone. I use all the colors swirled together for blush/highlighter all in one. You only need a little, because this is very highly pigmented. While it is shimmery, it's not over the top. As an eye shadow, it is the ONLY shadow I have ever used that stays put all day and looks as good at night as it did when first applied and it's not even billed as a long wearing shadow. I have other shadows that are "long wearing", but this beats them all. A word of caution... when used as a blush, use just a little or your cheeks can look a little bruised. For reference, I have medium toned skin. My color palette for fall/winter is plums and this is perfect. I also wear the Black Honey cream liner with this as well as the Black Honey lipstick/gloss duo with it and it all coordinates beautifully.

I had this some years ago,then could never find it,I' so happy to have it again. I LOV. You can easily get 3 or more looks with this shimmer blush . Clinque needs to make this a regular item,and easier to find. thank you Sephora for carrying this item
