Quick Take: sexy, long lasting
I received a sample of this colonge when I was shopping at my local Sephora, and liked it so much I returned the next day to buy it for my boyfriend. It's definitely a guy's scent, but I've been tempted to wear it myself a couple of times! It lasts all day long too, which is rare for me. Definitely will repurchase.

Quick Take: sexy, clean, professional, classic
I got a sample of this to try when my boyfriend was in the market for a new cologne. The scent isn't very complex or unique, but it's executed absolutely perfectly. It's balance of 100% manliness while still being clean and polished (i.e. not smelling like you just got back from a hunting trip, working in a leather shop, or rolling around in ocean sand) is amazing- it sounds odd but this cologne just smells like a man that knows how to take care of business. VERY sexy in a grown-up way. I like this cologne way too much to let anyone but my boyfriend wear it, but I can see my dad or brother loving it as well- very versatile and classic.

I got this as a sample with my purchase and decided to get this sample for my husband since there weren't any good ones for women. My husband tried it and loves it. Honestly, I also love the way the cologne smells on him, I couldn't keep my hands off him, lol.

Bought this for my father as a gift. He loves all the Varvatos colognes, so when I saw this one I knew he would love it. The bottle is really cool looking as well. Great gift item!

Quick Take: reusable, smells amazing
So at first I got this as a sample through Birchbox. Gave it to my bf, he loved it. Then last week I placed an order with Sephora and they had a sample of this cologne, and I chose it to give to my bf, not knowing it was the same one I gave him earlier that we both loved. He was ecstatic to get the sample, and I can't wait to get my hands on the full size to give to him. Smells AMAZING! Then again, guys are lucky and most of their colognes always smell amazing, makes me want to use it on myself. Love love.

I got this originally for my boyfriend, 30, but after an argument I regifted.. Yes low of me, but it turned out great. My pops 49, loved it.

I dragged my husband in to get some new cologne. He'd been wearing the same one since college and we were over it. Varvatos star is sensual and warm. Not too strong or soapy. It's so nice to cuddle him and smell this!!!!

Quick Take: fresh, relaxing, not overpowering, everyday scent, clean, attractive
I've always taken more of a liking to woody scents, but this relaxed scent really won me over. It's casual, very fresh/clean, and not overpowering. My boyfriend is extremely happy with it and I think it will be a keeper in his scent collection.

A light casual scent, JV Star USA still maintains great odors both on and off my skin. This is definitely my day to day, jeans and a T-shirt scent. I found it as part of the Men's Deluxe Sample Sets and will continue to use.

I purchased the John Varvatos Star U.S.A. fragrance because my boyfriend enjoyed the other John Varvatos fragrances. He thought this one was just as nice. It smells soft, but still masculine and not overpowering with alcohol - very nice.
