Great eyeliners

I love Urban Decay eyeliners! They stay in place so much better than others I have. The only reason I didn't give these 4 stars is because they go on a little too thick for me. But it may just take more practice since I'm used to skinny liners!

Quick Take: long wearing, vibrant
The quality of the pencils is really good and it does stay on for the most part of the day (without primer). The colors are indeed beautiful, but I could have done without the electric blue (the least wearable of the bunch) and chosen a more neutral, everyday color like an olive green or charcoal. This is the first time I have tried Urban Decay 24/7 eye pencils, so I am not disappointed, but not sure I would get them in a set like this.

Quick Take: waterproof, smudge proof once they set, color rich
What else can I say that hasn't already been said? The colors are gorgeous, they're totally waterproof and smudge proof on me (I don't have oily eyelids) and the clearance price was a steal! My only regret was not purchasing more than 1 set before they sold out!

Creamy Pigmented and Long Wearing

Quick Take: pigmented, long wearing, creamy
These pencils are vibrantly pigmented and long wearing. The colors in this set are for the part very neutral and wearable for a work look with the exception of Clsah ( beautiful bright electric blue w/silver glitter) and possibly Deliquent (deep abergine w/light glittery reflects, reminds me of Rockstar).
Sin is a nice frosty beige with pink overtones, JuJu is a frosty light taupe, and Rehab is a medium frosty brown with a small hint of purple.
These are very nice indeed, and are very buildable and blendable. They go on creamy, but you must blend these quickly since they dry pretty quickly so there is minimal creasing.

I saw that these were on a great sale, and I have wanted to try these eyeshadow pencils.
I absolutely LOVE all of the colors. The browns are perfect for an every day smokey look. Juju is perfect for all over the lid, Rehab in the crease, and Sin is an AMAZING highlight. I swatched Deliquent and Crash and they look gorgeous too, just have not had the opportunity to use them yet.
The only reason I gave 4 stars is because as many others mentioned (and I am new to this), there is a bit of a challenge when it comes to blending. These dry very quickly! Also because of their unique metallic look when they go on (which I do love about them), it is very difficult to pair them with powdered eyeshadows. Even after they dry it is just really difficult to blend it out and have the eyeshadows look the same texture. However, I definitely want to build up my stash of glide-on eyeshadow pencils and then I won't have that problem.
They lasted all day and still looked flawless when I got home BUT I do recommend an eyeshadow primer under these. This is the perfect starter set if you want to try these pencils, as it gives you plenty of colors to play with and you don't have to commit to any full-size.

This is a wonderful set of highly pigmented color (perfect for smudging) that stays on for several hours. My day to day lifestyle is pretty active and this product lives up to urban decay's reputation or creating excellent quality products.

Creamy, easy glide formula with staying power. Great colors, easy to apply and great to throw in your purse or carry on bag for no hassle eyes. Love it as eyeliner too!

I use these pencils with the Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer and it really helps them last even longer. They are all beautiful colors but I do wear the lightest brown the most. They dont blend well but i usually use just one color so it works just fine for me.

I have the Urban Decay naturals palette, so I was excited to try a more portable version of their shadows. While the three neutrals are easy to work with, the purple and electric blue shades are clearly meant to be worn by teens and young 20-somethings. For a 40 year old, they're beyond ridiculous...not just sparkly, they're glittery. I tried them on for fun, and immediately saw the pieces of glitter scattered along my cheekbone. There's just no way for me to wear these. The other colors, however, are far more realistic. While I don't like tugging on my eyelid to blend them in, I can do a pretty good job either tapping the shadow on or even using a shadow brush. The best part is that they last all day and don't crease, even on my somewhat oily lids. Overall, a good deal for the price, though I'm going to save those purple and blue shadows for my daughter to use for Halloween!

I am 51, medium skin, green eyes. I know I'm too old for the bold colors but I LOVE THEM! These are easy to use, the small size is plenty, the colors are wearable every day, and the color they lay down is nice and solid. I don't tug my eyelids when I'm applying and blending. These last all day for me although they're showing signs of wear by the time I'm taking them off after a long day. My grand nieces LOVED them! They said "are they sparkly?" and I closed my eyes for their inspection. "yep, they're sparkly!". These will last for as long as I want them. You don't have to take it easy while applying, they won't break.

Quick Take: great value, gorgeous wearable shades, long-lasting formula
I love this set because it allows you to try the Urban Decay 24/7 Shadow Pencil line at an economical price. My favorite shades are Sin (light golden champagne, good as base on eyelid as well as for tight-lining the bottom lash line to open up and brighten your eyes), Juju (silvery metallic brown, excellent for a soft wash of color in the crease), and Rehab (dark copper metallic brown, great in the crease for a more dramatic eye). The pencils should be applied over eyelids that have been properly primed with eyelid primer (Urban Decay and Lorac both make top-notch versions). If applied over primer, lasts all day.
