I have tried a lot of liners many kinds from the top brands but this one is the best it goes on very smooth , lasts all the day it doesn't fade at all , you can take shower and find it as you have just applied it
It is fabulous , I highly recommend it

The slate color is definitely a true slate. When I put this liner on my hand in the store it looked like a dark matte charcoal, which is what I was looking for, but when I applied it to my eyes it was a very light grey with a bluish tint and i couldn't build on it to make it darker. Looked very much like light blue in the sun... My boyfriend asked "what's that blue stuff on your eyes?" When what I was trying to achieve was an easy sexy smokey look. The good thing about the product was that it lasted all day without moving. The slate color might look nice on someone with light blue eyes, but its not a natural look at all.

Dior does it again with another great eyeliner. It is long lasting and goes on smooth. You can create instant catwalk eye or a multitude of looks with this liner. It effortlessly glides on lids for a dose of color to make the eyes stand out.

I have problems finding a good waterproof eyeliner that resists my oily lids. This did okay, but as the weather warmed up it wasn't good.
I bought the black, but it isn't very black. More of a charcoal color. It is smooth and goes on well.

I have allergies so my eyes are constantly watering so my eyes really put waterproof eyeliners to the test. This eyeliner is the only pencil/automatic eyeliner on the market that has passed. I cried, worked out, sweated in sauna, and showered with this eyeliner and it didn't smudge or make raccoon eyes. I got the chestnut and purple but actually looked the purple. It made my eyes pop a bit more and didn't look tacky like most purple toned eyeliners. It was hard to get this eyeliner because it was sold out at most department stores. Luckily found it at sephora

This was recommended to me by a store associate because I like the Dior brand and I was looking for a purple shade but nothing bright or tacky. The plum is beautiful, it has the dramatic look of almost wearing black, but softer and with the most subtle color. I am confused by the reviewers who complain that it does not have a fine enough point.. I am wondering if they are aware that the bottom of the pencil is a sharpener that pulls out. It produces the sharpest point I have ever achieved in an eyeliner and allows for the most thin, crisp lines when you want that look, and absolutely fills in the gaps between lashes for a solid line. I can't speak to how well it smudges, because I do not wear it that way. But if you keep it properly sharpened, it glides on very easily, and stays put until I use makeup remover wipes before bed. I have been into eyeliner since my early teens and I am in my forties now, and I have used so many over the years. This is my favorite.

Maybe it is a good eye pencil but I will have to wait till I return it and get a new one before I can see how it works. Tried to take the top off but it was stuck and would not open. I pulled and the whole thing came apart. Not Dior quality. Very disappointed!

I have tried a lot of liners which I use under the lower lash and above the upper lash. The Dior shades are true to color and wear through the day. No smudging or smearing and I am not wiping upder my eyes through the day as with other liners in the same price range.

I purchased the plum liner after having a makeover done as I was anxious for a new look. The stylist used many Dior products on me and I really love the line. I must admit I'm a newbie to Dior products so I didn't know what to expect once I got home and started to use the liner (plum color) on a regular basis. It's been almost a month now and I'm loving the color and the pencil. I agree with other reviewers that you must be careful as to how much liner you expose or else it will break. Also, like pencils and other, harder-type, auto- liners, if you drop the product the liner inside will begin to break. Lastly, prior to tutting any make-up on, I always need to use a good eye cream and have also started using an eye primer on my eye lid & under eyes. This really helps keep the area hydrated (I really need to), and allows for all my eye make-up to go on perfectly and last forever flawlessly. Hope this helps.

A couple of things first:
1. I may have the world's oiliest eyelids, eye makeup (labeled "long lasting" "24-hour" "waterproof" whatever) slides right off after 3-4 hours.
2. I have only been using this for a few weeks.
But, that said, I love this liner -- it is drier than most I have tried, but I assume this is the price I pay for it actually sticking, unlike MUFE, Urban Decay, and other "extended wear" brands I've tried. I bought it in Carbon, and it is a very deep, intense black. I use it to line the inner rims of both my upper and lower eyelid, and along my upper lashline when I want a look that's more intense and dramatic. It pretty much stays wherever I put it, even overnight if I don't rub my eyes. It also washes off easily with soap/water or eye makeup remover. I have not yet experienced any issues with the stick breaking, but I don't turn it up very far out of the pencil.

Minus one star because I would prefer a finer point. Also, I disagree that this is smudgeable at all -- I have to be very careful applying because there's no way to blend in any mistakes. Overall I am extermely happy with this product!

This is one of the worst products I have ever used. The girl who helped me told me it was a great product, I dont think she really knew anything about it and was just trying to get me to purchase something. It never applies well and on days when I attempt to use it, its always a struggle. Would highly recommend not buying this product, it was a waste of money. I wish a label like Dior would either reformulate this or take it off the shelves.

This is fabulous eyeliner! Goes on smooth, blends easily, and lasts all day. I haven't experienced any of the problems others have noted, but maybe there is a difference in consistency depending on the color? I have navy, and would buy more if it came in a nice olive green and/or brown.
