Sample was awesome
-04.10.13
I tried the sample of this and it did everything promised - cleared my skin, brightened and created a smooth glow. I bought the bottle and while there has been some of the promised effects it never reached the full glory that the sample brought.

On my third bottle
-03.19.13
Quick Take: hydrating, moisturizing, skin clearing
I'm on my third bottle and I still love this oil. I use it to hydrate my skin in the morning and at night. I wrote a review below and this still is my favorite face oil (and I tried many brands). Don't think I will ever want to use another brand.

THE BEST OIL!!!
-01.16.13
I would give this 100 stars if I could. I am a huge fan of facial oils and this one is the best I have ever used. It smells amazing and hydrates so incredibly well. My skin looks brighter and I have had no breakouts or skin irritation. I look forward to using this every night! I am hooked for life. Seriously amazing. I am totally going to try their other products-wished Sephora carried them.

The Best Face Oil Ever
-01.09.13
Quick Take: hydrating, moisturizing
What can I say...I have tried soooo many different brands of face oils (Argan oils, Seaberry Oils, etc...). Most end up actually drying out my face. I have fairly dry skin and wanted an oil to actually hydrate and moisturize my face. Most dried out my face. This oil actually worked wonders on my skin. It sinks right in and my skin looks amazing. I've been using it for over a year now and always get compliments on my skin and how young and clear it looks (I'm 54 years old). I've found this oil and I no longer have to search for a wonder oil. This is it for me!

price?
-01.04.13
I don't mean to sound harsh but this is very overpriced. i received it as a gift and i really enjoyed it, but i have been using avocado oil and vitamin e oil (among other things) on my face for quite a while and I don't understand how someone can justify charging such an amount. The same quantity of pure avocado oil can be purchased at a health food store for $5 so i would reccommend that anyone wanting to try out the benefits of avocado oil try that first.

Pretty Much the Best Thing Ever...
-08.27.12
Quick Take: hydrating, moisturizing, soothing
I absolutely love this oil! I couldn't wait to recieve it and have been using it for about a week. A little seems to go a long way and I really like that about it. The top is a spray and while it doesn't exactly give you a fine mist, it doesn't waste product and absorbs quickly and spreads easily. I have very oily skin and live in a humid climate. I also use retin-a and am prone to dryness. This addresses every thing. I have noticed past acne marks fade even faster than using retin-a alone and notice my skin looking more and more even everyday. The claim that your skin will look better with each use has been absolutely true in my experience. It smells wonderful, not too perfumey or anything like that-just clean and soft. It's a little thinner than I expected but it is no way a drawback. I had previously used the facial oils by Karin Herzog and Jurlique and while I love them both and didn't really feel it could get better, this takes the cake as the best I have ever used. I will absolutely repurchase and could not imagine being without it.

Quick Take: dimishes fine lines, preventative
Some reviews say the serum is too heavy, it seems like they were left by the same person, though. It is not heavy. It seems thick but it absorbs beautifully without leaving a layer of grease. If your skin is oily or combination (like mine) I would recommend using Ladi Avokanto mainly at night and only sparingly, if at all, in the morning. I only have to use one pump for my face and neck. It does make my skin softer and smoother. No breakouts! I haven't noticed any dramatic anti-aging results but my skin does look fresher and due to the nourishing nature of the ingredients my fine lines are less noticeable. Sometimes I use a few pumps on my hair before shampooing, I leave it on for a few minutes and it makes for a great deep conditioner. Overall I think it's a very nice, natural product. It goes a long way as well, I've used it for weeks and it's still pretty full. I love it!

EXCELLENT FOR ALL SKIN TYPES
-01.23.12
Quick Take: preventative, rich moisturing oil
A friend gave me a sample of her Ladi Avokanto. I was somewhat hesitant about trying it, because she has very dry skin, and this is oil-like. I have normal skin, but I gave it a try anyway because I haven't seen her excited about a cosmetic product for ages. It's wonderful. It's extremely hydrating. My skin feels so moisturized and looks more firm. It also seems very refreshing for skin. It's ideal for normal skin like mine, my friend's dry skin, and one my teens with combination skin tried the sample, and liked it too. The only thing I didn't love was the smell, which is not offensive, but wasn't something that I liked. However, the product is so good that it should make a difference.

Need to experiment more...
-12.25.11
I purchased this, hoping for a less expensive alternative to Rodin's Olio Lusso, which is very pricy, My bad for not reading the ingredient list for this oil. The second ingredient is olive oil. This is not necessarily bad, however olive oil tends to be too heavy for my skin, and I experienced some breakouts. I am going to try using less of the oil and more moisture on my face, but it's too expensive to keep if it doesn't work, The Rodin oil does not contain Olive oil, and works wonders for me. If you can tolerate Olive oil, this may work for you.

Luxurious avocado liquid
-11.28.11
Quick Take: moisturizing, non-greasy oil
This serum is absolutely superb. I was looking for a new one to throw into my winter beauty routine as my combination skin tends to get a bit dry in the winter. After trying about 4 from Sephora, this is the one.
The natural ingredient list immediately drew me in. I always smell ANYTHING before I use it (strange habit passed down from my mother) and was caught off guard by how strong the concentrated avocado scent was but it looked so velvety and lovely I knew I just had to try it. I have tried many serums over the years and this is unlike anything I have EVER used. It is more of an OIL, and takes a bit longer to absorb into skin them most serums I've used BUT I've noticed immediate benefits in the clarity, balance, and moisture level of my skin.
I waited about a month to write this review as I wanted to get it perfect. When I first used the product, I followed the directions: used two pumps on my finger tips and massaged it onto my cleansed and toned face...it felt weird, greasy and wrong. After many trial and errors here is my advice: pump the bottle two to three times (adjust this amount to your own preference of course, that is just what has worked for me) into your palm and rub it between both hands, then apply to your face in upward circular motions. I wait a few minutes to let my skin absorb the serum, then apply moisturizer. When I wake up after using this the night before, my skin is smooth and dewy. Applied under SPF moisturizer in the morning, my face stays smooth (not slick, like I was expecting considering considering how concentrated the product is) all day through work, then school. The trick, I've found, is rubbing it between your palms before applying it. Warming it between your hands warms the oil up which helps the oil absorb into your skin better instead of sitting greasily on top.
After doing the above treatment before bed and in the morning for 3-4 weeks, my combo skin that dries up during the fall/winter months, has soaked this heavenly oil in and produced beautiful, dewy results. My mother and best friend both asked what I've been using recently for my new found "glow" and I am planning on slipping this under the tree for them this Christmas, a bit expensive at $60 for one ounce but I believe it's worth every penny. Give this a try, from one beauty junkie to everyone out there, THIS is a WINNER.
I like to use it on my lips, elbows and knees too-- anywhere that's dry. Since the product is so concentrated, I know it will last a long time. VERY pleased with this purchase!!!!
