Long lasting and memorable scent

Quick Take: fresh, clean, powdery, perfect for spring
I have a ton of perfume samples that I've stockpiled since I usually just use the bottles of stuff I know works well on me. If I'm running late for work, though, I sometimes take one of the samples out, spritz it on, toss the bottle in the garbage, and run out the door. There have been very few times I've been so impressed with the scent that I go straight home and dig through the trash till I find the bottle. This is one of those times. When I initially sprayed it on, I thought what I usually think when I get new scents. "This smells nice." Then I forget about it as the day wears on. This scent, though, it stuck with me the whole day. I didn't fade at all, and I was reminded of it when knelt over and smelled my own shirt. As soon as I got home from work that day, I immediately took the bottle because I had to know who made it and how I could get more. This scent is very muted, but very powerful. You really only need a few spritzes on you and it will definitely last the entire day without fading. Even my bathroom smelled of when I went home. It's a very clean, soapy, powdery scent that reminded me of getting out of the shower and bundling under thick warm towels. It didn't smell "perfumy." It smelled clean and fresh, a perfect scent for early spring. I don't think I'd attribute this scent to "old ladies," but it might be a little mature for the young coed, in the sense that it's not a fruity sugary smell most younger women like. But if you want something that smells like clean linens, baby powder, and the slightest hint of spring flowers, you might enjoy this.

Quick Take: good value, travel-friendly
I really like this scent. It is a powdery, clean, floral. It is a bit strong and a light spray is enough. My friends wanted to know what I was wearing and really like it, too. I will buy this again.
Please stop with the old lady references. Everyone has different tastes and they evolve.

I love this scent! It's a little hard to describe, warm and earthy, but not woody, more exotic and sexy like warm skin. Not overpowering, slightly powdery. Very easy to wear - it dries down perfectly! Totally different than anything else I've ever tried - it almost reminded me of Clinique Aromatics Elixir, but this is much more sophisticated!

This is a nice long-lasting scent. It is definitely for those who tire of the cheap "scent-of-the-month" perfumes. This is a wonderfully feminine scent that is great for everyday use.

Smells like grandma!!

Quick Take: too strong
I liked it at first, but then noticed the smell was too strong, and it turns into a granny smell. Got mixed reactions from people, finally gave it to my mom, and I don't like the smell when she puts it on. Way overpriced!!!

This fragrance really packs a punch. At first it's very strong, but give it a minute, and it becomes a spicey, powerful, woman's parfum. Very nice and seductive!

Quick Take: enduring, mature, classy, different, alluring, captivates
I purchased the fragrance last year after receiving a sample. Everywhere I went, men & women complimented on the scent. So it quickly became my new calling card. I have worn Angel since the late 90's. I only wear fragrances that last all day but need no re-applying. So I always sample a fragrance I like, but I am not just evaluating the scent. I am also looking to see how long the fragrance lasts on me. Since DVF has gone on sale I have brought three bottles plus the lotion. I love it. And men seem to really love it!!!!

Honestly, this is just terrible.

Elegant and Sophisticated

I bought this without smelling it first and took a gamble. Glad I did. It's like nothing else and defies description. It's timeless, elegant and sophisticated and reminds me of scents from long ago. Caution.... it's very strong and you only need one spritz. Love it!

This scent is so beautiful when dry. At first sniff it is seemingly heavy and strong. Give it 2 minutes to die down into the most beautiful scent. I love it!
