Living Proof Restore Shampoo
What it is: A gentle cleansing shampoo that replenishes moisture and improves manageability. What it does: Restore Shampoo is formulated with Living Proof's moisture-controlling molecule, PolyfluoroEster, to restore the protective layer on dry or damaged hair and reduce hair's porosity by 100%. I love this shampoo! I have a very thick, straight hair that I color every 6 weeks or so. This shampoo has made my hair so soft and strong. I love the light scent and can now wash my hair every other day as opposed to every day. Great product!

Made my hair dry, unmanageable Do NOT recommend

I have fine, long, lightened hair. It's surprisingly healthy for all I put it through. However, this shampoo (along with the matching conditioner) made my hair dry, hard to style, and filled with static. Definitely not work the price.

Disappointing...especially considering the price

I was looking for a shampoo and conditioner that would help me treat my dry and very long hair. I did not find that it helped hydrate my hair or make my hair look any better than even a drugstore brand would do. I'm willing to pay for a product that works, and this one simply did not work for me. Also, I found the smell to be overly "perfumey".

I started using this with my hair in good shape but this shampoo helped improve my hair even more and seriously maintained the health of my hair. I'm not a big fan of buying pricey hair products to be honest because I am never overly impressed with the results but I will be sticking with this one!

Quick Take: hydrating
There's nothing special about this product.. didn't really take away my split ends and worked just as good as the shampoo i buy at the store and cost way cheaper. But did leave my hair soft and has a nice clean, tropical smell... but works just as good as any other shampoo you can buy at the store that's a lot more cheaper... not pleased with the results this gave me. :(

I've been using the Living Proof line for 4 months and I started with the No Frizz because I have frizzy, curly hair and I switched to this Restore because my hair is no longer frizzy but I heat style and wanted to restore it as much as possible. I absolutely love my hair! I'm 35 years old and my hair has changed with age and after having a baby, it's totally different, it breaks easily and is frizzier. After using this line my hair has behaved just like it did in high school, gorgeous. It's silky, shiny and smells nice all the time and I don't have to add any products after styling! I recommend this to all women, you will not regret it!

This shampoo doesn't lather like most I've tried. Don't let that fool you. It is totally awesome! It does not over dry the hair. My hair is color treated and this shampoo is perfect.

My hair was on the verge of getting cut off. I had dyed it very light blonde in January, then three weeks later, went back to a medium reddish brown, only to find that my hair was splitting and breaking. After one use of the Living Proof-Restore Shampoo and Conditioner, my hair is soft, shiny, and SMOOTH! It doesn't feel dry at all and is actually curly! WOW! :)

I love all of the the Living Proof Restore products. This line of products is the first line that has actually made a difference in my naturally curly/wavy (trending to frizzy) hair - I'd tried everything for over 10 years and was stunned when I found something that actually worked. My hair is the softest and most manageable it has ever been in my life after using these products for several years now.

I could tell after the first use that this was a special product. My hair felt better from the moment I lathered up and rinsed. I don't have difficult hair and it still made it better. My hair is shinier, bouncier and just better than with any other shampoo I've ever used.

I cannot recomment this product enough!!! This Shampoo is amazing! After an over processed perm my hair was britle and breaking. I noticed a big difference in my hair after just one wash. My hair now is soft and bouncy!

My hair is long, very fine, and damaged from bleaching. This product truly has made my hair softer with less breakage. It is worth every penny as are the deep conditioner and the Targeted Repair Cream. Even with hair that goes past my mid-back and using this shampoo & conditioner exclusively, I have not gone through the first bottles in the past two months. I wash my hair almost daily because I am at the gym most days. I HIGHLY recommend this line of products if your hair is prone to breakage or damaged.

After literally years of heat abuse my hair was basically brown straw but after 2 months of using the Restore line my hair was dramatically improved in health and shine. I have wavy hair that used to frizz on the ends if i only used a blow dryer so I'd be forced to use the flat iron, but now my hair looks great just blow dried, and I would dare say I wouldn't look too crazy if I let it air dry. I never write reviews, but this product is good enough to want to tell people about it. It's worth spending the extra money to have better hair!
