Living Proof Restore Conditioner

What it is: A nourishing daily conditioner that renews softness, shine, and manageability. Restore makes dry or damaged hair look, feel, and behave like virgin hair. What it does:Restore Conditioner is formulated with Living Proof's moisture-controlling molecule, PolyfluoroEster, to restore the protective layer on dry or damaged hair and reduce hair's porosity by 100%. This conditioner also increases hair's resistance to breakage up to nine times while healing, protecting, and preventing further damage. What it is formulated WITHOUT:- Parabens- Sulfates- Synthetic Dyes- Petrochemicals- Phthalates- GMOs- TriclosanWhat else you need to know:Virgin hair has a protective layer that is completely intact, which is why it is in such great condition. But frequent washing, heat styling, and processing damages this protective layer. Hair becomes very porous and unable to seal in moisture. Living Proof scientists discovered a way to restore that protective layer and reduce hair's porosity. And because Restore can do this without weighing hair down, it helps stop the cycle of dryness and damage. Research results:- After 5 uses of Restore Shampoo and Conditioner, hair's porosity is reduced 100%.- After 5 uses of Restore Shampoo and Mask Treatment, hair is 9 times more resistant to breakage.

Love this stuff

Quick Take: strengthening, doesn't weigh hair down
This conditioner is my favorite right now. I have been using if for a year or more. It makes my hair shiny and smooth, which is quite a feat with my curly hair. I recommend it.

the best ever!
-05.20.13
Quick Take: strengthening, doesn't weigh hair down, rich
this line of products is the best ever! from the first time i used the shampoo and conditioner my hair felt great and healthy. I am now using the full version and my hair that was limpy is now very full, i use it with the full mouse. the hairspray is another one i use as well. the reason for the 4 rating is because of the price. it is very expensive as far as shampoos and conditioners go but it totally works!

Loving it!
-05.18.13
Quick Take: strengthening, doesn't weigh hair down, heat activated
My hair feels and looks so much healthier since I started using Living Proof Restore shampoo and conditioner, plus the more intense conditioner every 3rd or 4th wash.
My hair was damaged from highlighting and trying some other hair care systems but LP is putting it back on the road to recovery. For this reason it's worth the high price. Doesn't hurt that it smells good too.

I was using the phyto line and loved it but this line is even better for damaged hair. The restore shampoo, conditioner and serum (esp the serum!!) have really made a big difference in my colored/damaged hair condition.

Not Worth The Price
-05.11.13
Quick Take: disappointing, overpriced
No. It doesn't moisturize- I have color treated hair, and it was a little dried out from processing, I tried this and was very disappointed as it left my hair looking more fried, as if I wasn't using any conditioner at all. Even with a leave-on oil treatment - very disappointing result. Once I stopped using, this product and switched to a more moisturizing producr=t , my hair came back, shiny and smooth. I won't try it again.

Not exactly what it claims
-05.10.13
I used an entire bottle of the Restore Conditioner (an expensive bottle at that), waiting for miraculous results. They didn't arrive. It does smell good, and it does leave the hair softer, but ONLY if you don't add any hair styling products or use a blowdryer or styling iron. If so, you won't be able to even tell that you used $28 conditioner on your hair. I used it along with the Restore shampoo, and I won't be buying them again. If you wash your hair and then let it dry naturally and don't style it, this may be the product for you. Otherwise, don't waste the money.

Best Conditioner I've used
-05.06.13
Quick Take: strengthening, doesn't weigh hair down, shine
My hair has amazing shine, volume and no damage....even though I have to color my hair every 5-6 weeks. I swear by this line and can't see myself switching anytime soon! My only complaint is they should have a giant size available. I go through a bottle every few weeks.

Full of Promise, Short on Delivery
-04.10.13
Quick Take: overpriced, refreshing smell, undelivered promise
As I have found with other Living Proof products, this did not live up to the Marketing hype. Though beautifully smelling and an alright product, it in NO WAY delivered on the promises made on the container -- returned to store.

Quick Take: wonderful!
I've been using this line for 4 months now and I cannot live without it! Read my review for the shampoo, it's the same for the conditioner. After the first use you will see, feel, notice a difference and you will absolutely love your hair!

Whatever You Do, Don't Buy This!
-04.05.13
I bought the travel-size one first, but unfortunately, I found that after I used it up, I just could not go back to anything else afterwards, forcing me to spend lots of money on the full-size items. This stuff is so good. Nothing else I've tried even comes close. So beware!

-03.28.13
Quick Take: restore conditioner
I can't say enough good things about this product. It does everything that it says it should do. That's very rare in a product!! It has turned my dull, dry hair into silk. I love it and won't be without it. I bought the small sizes to try out but I'm going back for the full size and keep the small for travelling.

Quick Take: strengthening, doesn't weigh hair down, rich
This is a great conditioner! My hair felt soft and smooth all day, and even when I woke up the next day, my hair still had the shine from the day before. My hair even felt thicker and stronger after I got out of the shower and was combing it. This stuff works!

Mixed emotions
-03.20.13
This conditioner (and the matching shampoo) made my long (read: old) hair wonderfully soft. However, it also seemed to leave a residue that makes my head terribly itchy & requires me to wash more frequently. My hair was also less shiny than normal. That being said, the condition of my hair (softness) is worth using the product on my ends only. If you don't experience the reaction I did, it's fantastic!

Quick Take: fantastic
I got this product because I am desperate to fix my blond damaged colored hair. I at this point will try anything. Ive been using this for a week, a little goes a long way and I must say my hair appers stronger. I will purchase the rest of the line as soon as I can get into the store.
