Quick Take: heavy
Maybe I bought a bad batch but when I used it to sculpt my short doo and hold down sides it just didnt do it. Plus it turned my hair dull and greyish. The smell has a strong chemical undertone.

Quick Take: easy to use, lightweight, non-sticky
I love this hair product. Holds well and not sticky or flaky...does not weight hair down. Allows me to spike my bangs, etc. Had 2 friends try it and they love it too.

great for smoothing fly aways

Quick Take: easy to use, lightweight
I have straight hair and I get crazy fly aways, especially right after I wash my hair. This is great for smoothing without adding stiffness or greasiness. Just don't use too much of it - a little goes a long way. It is sort of like a great combo of gel and wax.

This pomade is as natural as gel can get it doesnt have parabens or mineral oil which is bad for natural hair it doesnt flake and it makes the edges smooth without effort. I love this stuff they just need to make it available in a larger container

This has been the best discovery thus far on my journey back to natural. It's does exactly what it says it will. It smells awesome. There's no flakiness and its not to oily. It's the perfect combination!

I picked this up about a week ago and let me tell you, it's good stuff! Honestly, I wasn't a fan of CD's other products except for the Monoi so I decided to give this product a try. It lasts for hours and not a hair comes out of place, unlike other hair gels I've tried! Macadamia Hold & Control Smoother is a winner!

i was skeptical about a hair "hold and control smoother" because i've tried many before that left my hair looking waxy and very stiff. This stuff is different though, it doesn't stiffen my hair and a little goes a long way to tame the frizzy fly-aways for a few hours. it's easy to apply with fingers. Don't use too much or you'll get a greasy look and remember it is not a miracle worker but it tries really hard. :)

I am a fan of MOST things Carol's Daughters produces... I can't say enough about the Monoi line... the deep conditioner being a godsend for dry, parched hair... however, this did not live up to my expectations... yes, it goes on smooth and not sticky... shines for about 15 minutes... needs constant reapplication to maintain the sleek look you get at first use. Murrays [p,ade does the same for 1/10th the price. Probably will not repurchase. 2 stars for the smell/feel and the initial product response, otherwise failed me greatly.

O.M.G! This stuff works miracles! I haven't relaxed my hair in almost 6 months. I use this stuff 2 slick my edges & it looks like I just got a relaxer. It's a little sticky after a few hours, but definitely gets the job done

I love this hold! It sticks really good, but you don't get flakes or dry spots and your hair is not crunchy. I also use it to seal the end of my daughters' hair when i braid it and don't want to use a rubber band.

This smell is addictive. I catch myself sniffing my ends because it smells so great. Very fresh, light and does a great job of creating volume for my flat asian hair. I use it a little to smooth and poof after I blow dry my hair.
