Quick Take: hydrating, good for daily use, smoothing
this is my second bottle. It works great for thick wavy hair without weighing it down. I have tried many shampoos and this works great, better than any smoothing shampoo.

Very good shampoo. I use the whole climate control line and this shampoo does it for me. It cleanses and moisturize my hair very nicely. I feel that it prepares my hair for the climat control conditioner. This is a keeper for me.

Product that make Sense

These are the best hair products for curly hair!!! I have spiral curls and spent years never satisfied with my hair products. These products make sense. They are a little pricey but well worth the investment. I use all the hair products. Make sure to go to the Quidad web site and take the curl survey. This will help to determine what type of curl pattern you have and what products they recommend. You will also learn how to use the products. This instructional videos are valuable lessons to learn. My daughter and I have been using these products for about 5 years now. I'm 50 and my hair is soft to the touch, very shinny and healthy.

Couldn't be happier!

I exchanged the Bumble & Bumble Curl Consciousness shampoo and conditioner today for this product, along with the conditioner and the Playcurl Volumizing Foam. The former really didn't work on my coarse loose curls, but WOW, the Ouidad line certainly does! I don't think my hair has ever looked or felt better! Clean, soft, defined curls without heat processing. I can't say enough good things about these products!

This shampoo is great for taming frizzy hair. I have wavy hair and tons of frizz! This product smells great, doesn't leave your hair feeling heavy, and my hair is shiny and frizz free!

Don't really see any benefit

I went crazy over the Ouidad line when I first discovered it a few months ago, purchasing a new product each time I visited Sephora. My tight curly hair had been fried by a Brazilian blowout a couple of years ago, so I went for anything that promised to improve my damaged and fly-away curls, but I don't really see any difference between this and their "normal" shampoo. I think it is slightly more expensive, so next time I'll just buy the regular shampoo.

Gentle, less frizz!

For me, this has been better for my mane than other shampoos by Ouidad. It does do a good job at controlling the frizz, particularly the fall/winter frizz. My hair has a fairly tight curl. When the frizzies are tamed, the curls can shine through.

Great shampoo for curly hair

Quick Take: gentle, smells nice
This shampoo works really well for my coarse, thick curls, as well as for my daughter's fine curls. Sulfate free and no heavy oils (so I don't break out). I use with the Ouidad Moisture Lock Conditioner (which I apply post-shower and leave in), and Ouidad styling products. The Ouidad website has how-to videos to keep curls looking luscious, but I like to buy the products from Sephora because of all the fab perks!
Btw, Curly Girls shouldn't shampoo daily; use this 3-4 times a week (can condition in between if you feel you must wet your hair in the shower every day). A good Ouidad Salon cut and the line of products have changed my whole outlook. I used to love the straight look (or the ponytail/bun) but now I love my curls! (Also, my daughter has eczema and this doesn't make it worse.)

For ladies with naturally curly hair OUIDAD is the best!! I've been using the product line since 1996. I NEVER leave the house without using the Climate Control. So when the new Climate Control Shampoo was release I couldn't have been happier. It really does work; you won't be disappointed.

Quick Take: good for daily use, gentle, foamy
This shampoo is very hydrating and deep cleansing at the same time. It creates a thick, dense lather and smells very clean and shampoo-y. My curly hair was not stripped or squeaky when washed, but it was not flat and limp either. Very well balanced cleanser and conditioner.
