I adore anything with a mint scent, and this set was no exception. I was liberal in using the shower gel/bubble bath/shampoo and enjoyed every moment of it. There is something about using a minty soap that makes you feel SO clean! The lotion is subtle and yummy. I gave away the lip gloss because I'm not keen with the cooling feeling on my lips, which I assumed this would produce, though I never tried it. Philosophy is my absolutely favorite line for bath and body products... Mmmm!

Quick Take: amazing, great buy
First of all, I WOULD HAVE LOVED TO GET A GIANT BOTTLE OF THE SHOWER GEL! I am so upset it only comes around once a year! But everything is amazing! I love peppermint, and this lotion does not leave your skin oily, the shower gel leave your clean and refreshed and the lip gloss is a perfect shine! The box is absolutely adorable! I love everything about this!

Quick Take: great
The smell and the sensation of these products is amazing, the body wash makes showers or bubble baths heaven, and the lotion literally invigorates you as you feel minty all over. The lip shine didn't do much, but this cute little set is awesome, love the packaging too :p

I love everything but the gloss. I guess I was expecting to actually taste the candy cane but it does not taste like candy cane. It does however smell delicious.

Quick Take: worthy of being sold year-round
The mint not only smells great and really wakes you up in the morning, but it's tingly on your skin. The lotion is especially fragrant and long-lasting, while the lip gloss makes you feel like your breath is fresher.

GREAT WAKE-UP PRODUCTS

Quick Take: nice peppermint scent, all three products are very moisturizing
I was gifted with Philosophy's Candy Cane Trio. I've always loved Philosophy's 3 in 1 bath gels because they smells so good, and create nice bubbles when used in the bath. They're so moisturizing, and make showering/bathing enjoyable. I like using a variety of different gels depending on my mood. Candy Cane is peppermint scented, making it the ideal gel for mornings, when I need the mint fragrance to jump start my morning. The trio also features body lotion, so I can continue to enjoy the fragrance while moisturizing my skin, and an excellent lip gloss, which is moisturizing and kissable. While this is considered by some to be a wintry scent, I also like peppermint in the spring and summer. I've found that these Philosophy scents lasts for a very long time without an noticeable loss of scent, so I anticipate that these will still be excellent all year round.

Great product for christmas

I got this as a gift for my mother for Christmas. She wanted some peppermint flavored body wash and so of course I turned to Philosophy. I had to go to two different stores, but when I finally found this combo pack I chose to get this. She loved all three of the products and it is very pepperminty.

I gave this to my co-teacher and she loves it! It is a super-refreshing scent. I have some in my shower too! I love Philosophy. It's the only bath & shower gel I use. It's very kind to skin and doesn't dry it out or make it itchy.

I got this trio from my sister for Christmas. I love minty scents and tastes so this was right down my alley. The shower gel is nice. I have sensitive skin and I wasn't sure if it would irritate my skin but it seemed fine. The lotion makes your skin feel cold and kind of tingly. I like the way it feels on my skin but it isn't for everyone. I haven't used the lip gloss yet.

I recently ordered this set as I have never tried the Candy Cane products before but absolutely adore all Philosophy fragrances. I opened it up and was so surprised.....it smells just like candy canes and is really refreshing to the senses. It is very cooling to the skin and I love it!! I am anxious to try the peppermint lotion on my feet after a nice warm bath and for those long work days when my feet feel tired and achy. The packaginjg is so cute as well. Thanks Philosophy for another super fantastic holiday set and products that are sure to please!!!

Great Gift for the Peppermint Lover

Quick Take: refreshing peppermint scent
This was a gift to my sister-in-law to be who is in her early 40's. She loves the scent of peppermint and is a fan of all things bath, body, and cosmetic related. She is also an avid sun bather, in the summer natures sun and in the cold wisconsin winters artificial tanning beds (naughty, naughty). She told me she loves the refreshing body wash, the body lotion has a cooling sensation that feels great when applied to her overheated (or sunburned skin), and love the refreshing lip shine with the perfect touch of shimmer.
The reason I gave this item 4 out of 5 stars was because I found the peppermint scent far too overpowering for my taste, but obviously the person I gifted it to loved it. I would recommend this trio to anyone who loves a strong peppermint scent!

A miss for philosophy

The wash is fine, what I would expect from Philosophy. However the lip shine is just a thick sticky mess. And the lotion...just bengay with a better smell. Seriously this product is SO minty that my entire body feels burny yet cold all at the same time right now. I'm a fan of mint products, and this is the first one to have this effect. :(
