Cleanses and hydrates

Quick Take: hydrating, gentle
I had never tried a cleansing water before purchasing this product. I always do a 2-step cleanse at night so I thought that this might be a great first step to remove my makeup but I have to admit, I was skeptical. Well, it works! This product has changed my whole routine. I now use the cleansing water to remove my makeup while sitting at my desk reading emails, surfing the web, etc. and because it doesn't leave my face feeling tight or stripped, I can do my second cleanse whenever I want to. I have dry skin and my face actually feels soft after using this product. I love that Sephora has left out so many harmful ingredients and that the ingredient that hydrates is plant-derived. I think that this is a much better alternative to cleansing wipes and the smaller size is perfect for travel. I'm so glad that I gave this a try.

Quick Take: cleansing
I like the cleansing action and the hydration. But the dispenser squirts all over the place -- much like the other kind for the green version of cleansing water for eye makeup removal -- and so I'm always cleaning up after using this. I have to be careful not to stand too close in nice clothes, because it has stained them. The product itself is great, but the dispenser needs improvement. I love the idea of dabbing a cotton ball on the top, but it just doesn't work well.

Quick Take: sticky, average
It doesn't compare at all to the Caudalie Cleansing Water, which is amazing. I normally use cleansing waters after I've taken off the bulk of my makeup to pick up any little bits still there, but I found that when using the Sephora cleansing water, I still had some foundation stuck on my face. I also found that this cleansing water left almost like a sticky/filmy feel to my skin, so it didn't actually feel very clean afterwards. Even though this is substantially cheaper, I will be switching back to the Caudalie Cleansing Water.

Basically, it does it's job. I purchased because I saw many rave reviews for how amazing it is, but it really is just a cleaner- but I don't feel as good as if I had just washed my makeup off with soap and water. It works pretty well though for a quick clean-up. I am disappointed by how quickly it runs out though- you don't realize how much your using with just one pump. (the pump is a cool feature though). Hope this helps!

Quick Take: gentle, hydrating
very gentle and very hydrating. safe for sensitive skin. the push-down pump is also a nice touch. i just wish that it was a bit stronger. i found it relatively useless in the removal of waterproof mascara. otherwise, a good product.

It takes your makeup off with no problem and it also works great with cleaning your makeup brushes I could find anything that would get my makeup brushes back to white and this did the first time! I highly recommend it!

Quick Take: fresh, easy to use, non-oily, 5-in-1 (removercleansertonerbrush & spot clnr), hydrating
OK, this make-up remover ROCKS! It's completely non-oily but still hydrating! Wet a cotton round with it, press onto eye for 30 seconds, it breaks up your make-up and you can easily swipe it off! I like to use one round for my eyes and the other for my complexion to remove make-up and cleanse at the end of the day. So awesome for times when I'm tired and just want to take off my make-up and crash, 'cause you hit two birds with one stone. It really does cleanse because I can see a difference in my skin in the morning compared with this and just taking off my make-up with another make-up remover and not cleansing. ALSO, this tones! I have two little spray bottles I filled with it. One of them I use to spot clean make-up I may get on my clothing (I'm a make-up artist), the other I use as a daily cleaner for my liquid foundation and waterproof gel eyeliner brushes. This is a must-have in my kit, right up there with foundation, primer, and mascara. Yay for triple action cleansing water! I'll be really bummed if this is ever discontinued, so please don't do it Sephora!!

I absolutely love this product. It's definitely for sensitive skin it removes all the make up, it doesn't irritate my skin like the others. The sales associate at Sephora recommend it because i had prob breaking out with the other cleansers. .

Quick Take: clear and water like
If you are looking for a product that offers thorough cleaning then this is it. I absolutely love this product. It cleans your face very deeply from all the make up, even the waterproof one. I use it before my face wash and I've already noticed that the pores on my face are shrinking in size. Also, it doesn't irritate you skin nor does it make break out. Wonderful product and I love it.

I bought this at the recommendation of the sales associate at Sephora and it's great for my oily/sensitive skin. It removes all traces of makeup (foundation and eye makeup). I will definitely purchase this again.

I have never used any other cleansing waters, but if they are like this then I understand the hype because this one is fantastic! The formula is so gentle, yet removes everything! I was so surprised! My skin can get quite dry in the winter so I look forward to using this then to remove my makeup because this is totally non-drying unlike other makeup removers I have used in the past.

I was recommended this item from one of my girlfriends, Lolo. Not Lola but acts like a Lola. :) anywho, it's a pretty good product when you're having a lazy "I-don't-wanna-do-my-night-routine" evening. My main concern was - will it leave a greasy film? Happy to say it doesn't. You know that product you use at the sephora store to wipe off your "try-on's", this is very similar!!! Lolo liked it... I liked it.. I'm more than sure you will too. Three's a party!!! :))

Quick Take: perfect.
I wear alot of makeup, and I'm pretty picky....This stuff takes off everything...not just makeup---even if you spray perfume on to test:), that you don't like, you can use this to take off the smell...it cleans makeup brishes, etc.
I still suggest a toner or another soap after, but it DEFINITELY TAKES off every bit of makeup on you, first time!!!..I know, I use white towels::)

Quick Take: clean, light
This makeup remover is close to magic. It doesn't leave my skin greasy and seems to act as a toner as well as makeup remover. It performs well on eyeshadow and non waterproof mascara. Great for when you're in a pinch.

We're not supposed to mention other name brands in these reviews, but chances are that if you are looking at this product then you know what I'm talking about. This works just as well as the expensive French version. To clarify though, this is NOT just a makeup remover. It is intended to replace your face wash.

I just got the smallest bottle when i travelled to LA because i ran out of my bioderma. The SA at sephora recommended me this gorgeous cleansing water and i decided to give it a try. Not surprisingly, i'm impressed! It lives up to its hypes with much cheaper price than bioderma. I'm gonna buy a full size bottle when i go back to SF! Love!

I bought the smallest bottle just to give it a try, also because its a good size for travel and affordable. I wear a very heavy mascara and this product wiped it all off, so I will definitely buy it again
