They were ok.

I am not too fond of these brushes. They have not been the worst but they are not on my recommendation list. The set looks nice and professional but the results are more for a person just beginning in the world of color

Mehhhh..

Quick Take: good value, travel size
I bought this set over a year ago, and sadly, they haven't seen a ton of action. The idea of a self-sufficient and standalone brush set with a built in travel container is a good one, but execution and quality leaves a lot to be desired...
Powder brush: Soft, yes. But it is useless in applying product. It is not quite dense enough, and the bristles are too long for the base. Two or three swirls around my face, and it's fanned out like a peacock. Doesn't hold its shape at all. It's actually quite weird...
Eye blending brush: Nice. Not excellent, but gets the job done. A bit too dense to get a really good blend.
Concealer brush: Can't say I've ever dipped this brush into an ounce of concealer in its life. It is actually better for packing color onto the lid. Again, nice, but nothing spectacular.
Pointed crease brush: Similar to the powder brush in that it is just too long with not enough stability at the base of the bristles! Very difficult to control.
Flat eyeliner brush: has a very crisp tip, which is nice. I'd say this brush is decent!
Smudge brush: This is actually one of the best brushes I own. Super short and dense which makes it perfect for smudging out color. I sometimes even use this to give myself a soft wing. Good way to add some length to the eye without being harsh. I use this brush every stinkin day!
I loved the concept of the built-in travel container, but there is literally only room for the 6 brushes in this set. It's got a "spot" for all 6 brushes, but the rest of the container is unusable. It wouldn't be a big deal, if I felt this set was complete and eliminated the need for any other brushes, but it's not... Kinda annoying to take this set and then have to lug along a dozen other brushes in another container to fill in the gaps. Nice idea, poor execution. Meh..

Spend the extra $20
-12.31.12
I bought these to replace the red sephora antimicrobial brush set... Nope, they are not nearly as good. I used the powder brush for 5 seconds before switching back to my old ones. Spend the little bit extra for the antimicrobial brushes that give more even coverage and have much softer bristles

I like these brushes a lot. It's real cool that I can leave the top off and have them ready for use on my makeup vanity. I especially like the shadow brushes.

Great gift for Mom!

Quick Take: affordable, a great variety, cute
She loves the leather case they came in- fits perfectly on her vanity! The brushes are soft but tight so not as fluffy as I'd hoped for. Although she won't use the smudge brush as much, I told her to play with it and if she finds another use for application to roll with it! Great gift :)

Pretty good brush set
-12.25.12
Quick Take: travel size, soft, easy to clean
These brushes are very soft and easy to clean. I am petite with small features and the brushes are a good size for my face (they are small). They pick up makeup very well, but they don't deposit it quite as well. The travel case seems really great on the website, but it has a mold inside to only fit 5 brushes. I pulled the mold out with a pair of needle-nose pliers to fit more brushes in.

Great beginner set
-10.16.12
Quick Take: good for beginners
This is a great brush set for beginners. It has four great eye brushes, one concealer brush, and one power brush that works nicely for mineral foundation. It is a little pricey for what it is, though. Could be maybe $10 cheaper. But overall a pretty great product.

the brushes pick up color well but don't deposit that great, especially the blush brush. the crease brush is super small. I would've returned them, but I pulled the inside out to allow for more brushes

Used and loved daily!
-09.13.12
Quick Take: good value, soft, high quality, useful brushes
These are soft, high-quality brushes that I use every single day (except for the smudge brush, which I've never used...). I've had them for four months and wash them regularly with no shedding at all. Although this is marketed as a travel set, the brushes aren't miniature, which I like. The rounded handles are comfortable to hold.
The complexion brush is great for overall powder or bronzer application, though probably a little too big for blush. Using the concealer brush is faster, less messy and more hygienic than using my fingers for concealer. I use the eye blending brush to apply eyeshadow, and the crease brush to blend, but I think they'd also work well for their intended purposes. I admit I hardly use the flat eyeliner brush, though. I find it a little bit wide for drawing a precise line, and slightly rough on my eyes, but that could be my own lack of practice showing.
The case is sturdy and attractive, too. (My boyfriend saw it and was like, "What is that for? I want one!" So I guess it has unisex appeal. ;) ) It would have been nice if the bottom of the case nested into the top, though, since if you leave the case open on your counter like I do, the top just takes up extra space. I use it as a small organizer basket. And as others have said, there's no room in the case for extra brushes unless you take out the divider, but ... this is the first non-cheap brush set I've bought, and it was worth every penny. These brushes have completely taken over my makeup routine from my previous brushes.
