Good but a little greasy

Quick Take: fragrant
I have very dry skin so I used this to give some extra hydration. It is moisturizing but takes a while to rub in, as it tends to sit on top of skin for a while. Like all, A Perfect World products, it smells great!

Quick Take: lightweight, absorbs quickly
This moisturizer is lightweight and absorbs quickly. It looks like it would be greasy, but it doesn't. I use it under my Tarte BB cream and I feel like I have flawless skin. I even get compliments on my skin because people always think I am 25 or so, but really I am 10 years older.

Oh man, I am a skin care junky. I picked the perfect world starter kit up on Sunday and I am already obsessed. I have oily skin usually. Im from LA so I grew up with moisture near the beach. But my husband and I are stationed in El Paso and the super arid climate has been killing my skin. I now have combination skin. My skin is fairly reactive so in a 24 hour time period I can tell you if my skin is going to like something or not. This whole kit has made my dry spots, redness, and breakouts ease up in three days. I cant say enough good about the whole set. The face wash, the moisturizer, the eye cream, and the serum. A+

i am SO mad this product didn't work out for me! i love the smell, i love the consistency, the fact it has white tea in it and what the product is supposed to do for your skin but it makes me extremely oily on my t zone!! I have never used a face cream that has made me this oily and its sad because looking at the other reviews not many people have had this problem. I have to give it a 4 star because if it werent for the oiliness this product would have everything i dreamed for in a cream. even the price doesnt bother me because a little goes a long way so I know it would have taken me months to finish it, maybe even a year. im going to be really sad when i have to go back and return it this week :( guess i have to keep looking for a face cream

Not suitable for dry skin

Disclosure: I have normal-slightly dry skin with few breakouts for a week out of a month. I'm 27, and do not have issues with wrinkles, sun-damage (yet), so I am looking for a great moisturizer/cream that moisturizers and is long lasting (I can feel the effects still at mid-day).
My skin has been dry this winter. This formal has a gel like consistency and very easy to spread. A little bit goes a long way and I imagine that this jar will last at least two months with AM and PM use.
The moisturizer has a light sweet scent, for those who are curious, it smells like Marshmallow flower. The fragrance is quick to fade when applied on the face.
I only gave this product two stars. It absorbs almost immediately and my skin drank it up. After 30 minutes, I felt as if I didn't apply anything at all and sometimes I have applied a second layer- so I did not feel it was very moisturizing. Unlike other customers, it did not make my face shiny or greasy looking.
I would not buy this product again. It might be suitable for girls with oily-normal skin types because of its gel-like formulation.
I would not recommend it to girls with normal-dry skin. At this price, I feel moisturizers need should be luxurious and well-moisturizing. It certainly should not require two layers. It might be suitable for summer use but I won't be keeping this for a second-try.
I used about a third of the jar and will be returning it.

I started using Origins a few years ago and stuck with it ever since. I love the smell, and you really don't have to use a lot. Though it's a bit pricey, to me it's worth it since one jar will last a while.

I just discovered Origins and bought this moisturizer and the Checks and Balances Cleanser. While I love the cleanser, this moisturizer isn't right for my skin. My skin is sensitive, and this product did not irritate it, which is nice - however, this moisturizer is VERY greasy. My skin isn't oily or dry, and I haven't broken out in years, yet this moisturizer makes my T-zone feel like an oil slick and I developed a HUGE, teenager-style pimple right in the middle of my nose! I can use it a couple times a week before bed, but it's way too greasy for me to use as a daily moisturizer. I will keep looking for an Origins moisturizer that works better for my skin.

Favorite new find! This moisturizer is so perfect for really hot weather! It's not greasy at all, and makes my skin look and feel great. It has a light fresh sent and is pretty thick, so a dab will do ya! I usually break out with moisturizers but not this one.

Quick Take: greasy smelly
i got this as a sample. it was quite a good size considering it was free. i was really excited to try it because i had been contemplating buying it. after using it i won't be buying it. it was way too greasy, even for my dry skin + winter. it also had a horrible smell. i was really disappointed.

I NEED this moisturizer! It is so rich, yet light. I have been using this moisturizer for years. Before I realized I could buy it at Sephora, I would panic when my supply ran low because the nearest Origins store is not super close. Now that I can get my fix on Sephora I never run out. I've used other facial moisturizers in those in-between periods, but I've never been truly happy with another product.

This is a good product overall. I used it in the summer and, working outside, a little went a long way, due to its thicker consistency. I appreciate a product where you don't have to slather a ton on to get the benefits. I didn't see any miracles with this, but it didn't make me greasy or break out by any means, and I have pretty temperamental skin! I was impressed enough to move on to another type of Origins moisturizer to target more specific needs.

I love this line! After turning 30, I started having breakouts and weird things going on with my skin. I tried treating with acne products and anti-aging products and nothing seemed to work. This has balanced my skin so it is clear, soft, and smooth! The moisturizer spreads well so a little goes a long way! Great under makeup for day and alone at night.

Quick Take: greasy
i found this moisturizer to be extremely greasy and not easily absorbed by my skin. i wasn't pleased by the fragrance either. i felt like it sat on top of my skin rather than sink into it but again the biggest problem was how greasy it was... also, i hardly ever break out and the greasiness from this left some unwanted gifts on my forehead... i returned it after trying it for 3 days.

I was very hesistant when I added this to my cart because based on other people's reviews this product is too greasy & wasn't really recommended for people with combination skin unless used as a night cream, (based on reviews) since my daughter was born my cheeks feel rough & dry, while my nose is the only thing that can get a little oily, I have not been able to find either an affordale or expensive moisturizer that takes care of the dryness & roughness at all, until now. My skin feels so freakin soft & supple, I am so glad I bought it inspite of reviews that were steering me away.
I took the advice of some reviewers & used very very little of this product & applied 2 layers, it did feel pretty greasy or as I would like to now put it "Potent" & it did take a little while to soak into my skin but I didn't mind massagin in because it instanly felt great on my skin & it smells so yummy. Once absorbed, it felt very lightweight & my skin had an instant glow & felt like a million bucks. Considering how little product I needed to use even while using 2 layers, I am pretty sure this little jar will last me a whole year with daily use. LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT

Quick Take: intensive, nice smell, greasy
This is the second Origins moisturizer I've tried, and I just don't think this brand is for me! I didn't feel that it ever really absorbed completely, and my t-zone was oily within a couple hours. Glad I tried out a sample before buying!
