I like that it's not over-greasy and mixes well with my water-based foundation. I know most brightening claims I've come across are closer to being carefully crafted lies than anything else, and I'm not about to say this cream has made my face any clearer. I will, however, point out that new acne hasn't seemed to leave dark scars like it used to before I started using this (to be fair, I wasn't even using moisturizer with SPF then, so that probably didn't help). So, maybe because of the SPF, maybe because of the brightening ingredients, or a combination of the two, it does seem to help *prevent* pigmentation. Good enough reason to buy a new one when I ran out (after 4 months, I can't say I feel ripped off by the high price point).

Quick Take: oily, made me shiny
I think this is probably true to its title. It is intended to be brightening and it has the added SPF. For me, though, it turned out to be just a bit too oily so I returned it. I ended up purchasing the oil-free Plantscriptions moisturizer instead. It may be just fine for drier skins.

Finally what I have been looking for!

I've tried so many moisturizers looking for one that clears up and evens out my skin, this is the one! I have been able to use less foundation since using this product and my skin to e is visibly more even. It feels a little heavy when you first put it on, but then once it is absorbed you don't notice it at all. The SPF 35 is an added bonus as well!

Quick Take: absorbs quickly, creamy, nice smelling, long lasting
I found this moisturtizer to be creamy, long lasting and does help my skin clarity. I use it every morning all over my face and neck, few dots here and there get the job done! I live in California where the weather is dryer and the sun brighter, so this works for me! My skin use to be extremely dry, but since using this it's balanced out and now it's normal!

Quick Take: greasy
I use this cream at night only, because it leaves a greasy sheen on my face. It's too bad, because it has 35 SPF, and I'm always looking for a day cream with a respectable amount of SPF. As for the skin tone correction claim--I've noticed no difference.

Smells wonderful, feels light, has SPF and evens skintone! What more could you want?! I love this stuff. In 2 weeks it significantly lightened sun damage (small light brown spots) under and around my eye area. I use this once a day under foundation, and it's worked wonderfully for sun damage.

My sensitive skin did not take well to this moisturizer at all; after a day my skin was red, dry, and itchy. I thought it would get better after a while but it just seems to be getting worse so I'll be returning it.

I got a sample tube of this at Macy's I think when I purchased something from the Origins counter. I didn't pay any attention to the fact that it was a skin brightening or tone correcting moisturizer. That is until I noticed after using it for about 2 1/2 weeks that my skin was looking amazing without any make-up or BB cream on and I looked at the little tube - then it clicked. :-)
I ran out and knew I had to get more of this amazing moisturizer. I use it every morning and my combination skin never feels oily, even by the end of the day. It hasn't ever clogged my pores or left my face feeling greasy. It absorbs so quickly, my skin LOVES it! I won't ever go without this. I do wish it came in a tube though, I don't like scooping creams out of little tubs - it almost always gets under my nails and I feel like I waste some product this way unless I run my finger through it backwards or use a knuckle to get it out -_- .

I was so excited to try this moisturizer. I've been using peels on my skin and I've needed a good moisturizer with sunscreen to protect my skin. This one claims to help fight discoloration too, so I couldn't wait to get it home. I have naturally oily skin but I never have a problem with moisturizers just "sitting" on my skin. Unfortunately that is exactly what this one did. It felt more like a greasy sunblock when I put it on than it did a moisturizer. In fact, I don't feel like it moisturized my skin at all. There are a couple of dry spots on my face right now from the peel I'm using and after putting this on those spots looked and felt worse than they did before. Overall, I was very disappointed with this product and returned it.

This product was too heavy for oily skin. I have oily and acne-prone skin and this product was the WROING one for me. The moisturizer absorbed quickly but my skin became so oily after fifteen minutes that I had to reapply my powder over and over again. And then the acne went into overload. I like Origins products but this one is not good for oily and acne-prone skin.

I didn't realize until halfway through the jar that this was just too heavy. I'm using Kate sommerville anti bac lotion which is very drying and I thought initially this was a good balance but because of the SPF it's very greasy (like sun lotion) and ultimately made my makeup literally slide right off my face. Didn't really notice any brightening effect but I love origins products and wanted to love this but for an oily and dry gal this didn't work. A big plus though: didn't break me out so that's pretty awesome.

The first few times I used Brighter by Nature, I was unimpressed and put off by the smell. Having used the product for the past four months on a consistent basis, howver, i have come to appreciate it and i think m.y complexion has become clearer amd less dull. I am definitely buying this product again.

I wish this wasn't so heavy. It has a wonderful smell and dries quickly plus it has an spf. My issue is I have very oily skin and this made my skin oiler as the day went on. I recommend this to anyone with any other skin type. Another plus its natural.

I have combination skin, and am constantly in search of 30+ SPF moisturizer that isn't too heavy. I bought this one knowing that it wasn't going to be as light as some out there, but hoping that it wouldn't be too bad. As my skin tends to dry out a little in winter, I thought I would need a little more moisturizing. This, however, is very heavy and greasy. Even with my drier winter skin it's still far heavy for my combination skin. Additionally, I've found that this tends to "creep", and often ends up irritating my eyes. I won't be buying this again.

This does a great job in the cold weather. Its not oily but it is a bit heavy for oily skin. I love the spf 35, especially in the winter. And of course its all natural so thats a big plus. Use a little, no need to slather it on.
