Love it!

Quick Take: oil mattifying
Only stuff I have found that I can put on midway through the day and won't double as a makeup remover in the process. Excellent product!

Not bad
-04.05.13
My skin is very oily. Although this doesn't prevent oil, it does help reduce oil a bit. Still looking for a product that will really work well for me.

strange texture and rolls off after dry
-03.30.13
I try again and again to stop the shine. I just need to accept that my skin is oily and move on. :) This was hard to mix thoroughly (it separates in the bottle) and after dry on the skin, it feels strange and rolls off in eraser-like bits on the hands.

It works!..... Kind of
-03.28.13
When I ordered this, I expected it to be a LOT bigger than it really was; but that always seems to be the case with sephora. It's only about 2-2 1/2 inches tall and not very wide. It works very well though! I wear the product to school, but it sometimes wears off after 5 hours. I would recommend wearing a pressed powder on top of it!

awesome for sweaty, shiny summers
-03.13.13
I have combination skin prone to breakouts, but in the summer my T-zone is so shiny. I work in hot climates outside, so most skincare products just slide right off my face (like the Korres Pomegranate Mattifying Treatment). Because this is a light liquid that instantly and absorbs and evaporates, there's nothing to melt away. I wouldn't even call this a lotion, it's more like a toner. I can wear this under sunscreen and still look matte or slightly dewy at the most. Also works effortlessly under moisturizers and even foundation so you can use less heavy powder later (also a bonus in the heat). One of my essentials

Works, but not as well as it could.
-02.02.13
The product is a bit tricky to learn to apply. You have to use it BEFORE foundation - it's too liquid and will smear unset makeup, and you have to pat dry or you'll get chalky streaks once you dry..
As for it's intended purpose... it reduces shine, and it does what it says... but I'm still oily an hour later and have to reapply.

Not for my skin
-12.28.12
It really dried out my skin and made it flaky. Looked horrible with my makeup on.

Not what I expected
-12.11.12
This stuff if not what I thought it was going to be. I was expecting a lotion but that's not the case. You have to shake the bottle very well because there is a powder at the bottom, it comes out really runny and when I rub it on my face it feels very gritty and hard to smooth in.
I think it does help with shine but I wouldn't re-order it. The bottle is very small too.

This hasn't done a thing for me. It separates and you have to shake it up but it's still like I'm only putting water on my face. I've tried both putting it under and over my makeup.

Still Oily
-11.03.12
I used this under my make up and felt like it still made my skin oily. I have stopped using it but maybe I will try to give it another try.

Gross
-10.31.12
This stuff separated into two milky/watery textures in the bottle - it's so gross. Threw it away.

Great stuff
-10.30.12
Quick Take: lightweight
When I first tried this I applied it directly to my skin and was disappointed, but not surprised, that it did nothing to counter the oil slick on my nose and cheeks. A couple months later I had an inspiration and tried adding one or two drops to my primer before applying, and what a difference that made! I can now go all day with only a single blotting at noon.

Great for oily skin
-08.25.12
Quick Take: lightweight, very matte
I was recommended this is in store by a sales associate and I have to admit I was skeptical at first. What I got was a little bottle of liquid with white stuff in the bottom that you shook up to mix and I was thinking there is no way this going to work. I was very wrong. This works great for my super oily t-zone by keeping it nice and matte for about 5 hours after I put it on. I know use this everyday and when I don't I can tell a big difference in the staying power of my makeup and the way my skin feels. I would highly recommend this to anyone with oily skin.

Read me!
-08.22.12
When I bought this product I thought this was going to be a moisturizing mattifying lotion because that's what it says in the description. But when I received I found out it was a very small bottle of liquid that you have to shake which makes its grainy. But the good thing about this is that it does mattify. And you have to pour/squeeze out the product into the palm of your hand. I don't think I will buy this again because I don't have super oily skin. But it does work. Thanks!

Does what it says
-08.12.12
Quick Take: lightweight, absorbs quickly, oil absorbing, awkward to dispense
Bought this in a desperate attempt to find something for my very oily and acne-prone skin about 2 weeks ago. Had to experiment with it a bit, the best results I get is when I dab it on top of my make up (after everything is done) during the day. First I used it before applying the primer and found that my foundation was very difficult to apply and looked blotchy and streaky. Now I dab it on about noon and it keeps the oil on my face to a minimum and my make up stays in place (nothing like what it used to look like at the end of the day).
I also have to agree with a few other comments, dispensing of this lotion is very difficult and you really have to make sure you don't spill it, it's a bit annoying especially if you are in a rush, I hope Origins will look at this design and improve it in the future.

I have a very oily t-zone so I've been looking for a product that'd control it, and this did do a better job than some other products. But it wasn't enough at all.
I feel like if your skin is somewhat oily but not waaay too extreme, this should be fine. It is very light, it feels nice, and you really don't need to use much of it.
I just squirted a tiny bit (like what would be the size of a dime, I guess) into my palm and then used my other hand to apply it to my face and I don't feel like I wasted much product.

Useless
-07.14.12
Quick Take: useless
Even though I'm in my fifties, I have very oily skin, especially in the summer. By the end of the work day, my T-zone is very oily. I was hoping this would keep the oil slick away, but I can't see that this does one bit of good. Save your money.
