This stuff is so overrated. I used the straight shampoo and conditioner for six months (at $80 for both together!) and it was not bad. Then I decided to switch back to Pantene at 10% of the price and my hair felt smoother. I like other BB styling products, and really don't mind spending money on a quality product, but when it comes to shampoo and conditioner this is just overpriced and really nothing special.

Like other users have pointed out, this won't actually straighten your hair, but I do think it has made my hair smoother, and maybe made it easier for me to loosen my waves/curls so they are bigger and bouncier, which I love. It is a tad more drying than other sulfate-free shampoos I've used - which is what I wanted - but keep that in mind if you're switching from another sls-free shampoo.
A lot of people have commented on the small, and to me it smells a lot like Coco Mademoiselle, which is anything but unpleasant to me. It is kind of a strong smell, but it doesn't linger too much (although I'm using a different conditioner, which may be why).

It works ok, I tried it without blowdrying. I expect more from Bumble products, especially $29 ones. It washes well and leaves feel very creamy. The smell is somewhat unbearable though.

I was not sure if I wanted to pay the higher price for both the Bb shampoo and conditioner (and the bottles are so small) but I'm glad I did b/c you can really feel the difference using both the shampoo and conditioner. Your hair is really soft after using the products. Worth the price, especially if it will make my Brazilian last longer!!

I have used this a few times now (along with the conditioner and the styling cream) and I love it. It did what it says, made my hair less frizzy and more straight. I did use it in the winter so I guess that is to be taken into consideration, not much humidity now, but I still really like it. The only downside, if you even want to call it that, is the smell. I didn't think it was offensive or anything but it does smell more like shampoo for a guy. I mostly noticed it when I was showering, not during the day. It isn't too bad to me, just something some ppl might not like.

B&B shampoo, conditioner and smooth straightener rec'd as a VIB point gift - they are fantastic. My hair is not thick, not thin, but naturally wavy and when humid a lot of flyaways/frizz. Have some old highlights. Worked very first time, my hair looked the best it has other than when I go to the hairdresser. Smooth but retains fullness - looked fuller and healthier than when I do not use it, only straighter. VERY pleased

Is this made for a man?

I got this shampoo as part of the BB Straight 500 point reward, with the conditioner and balm. The first thing I noticed was the smell - it's very masculine. I had to double-check and make sure it wasn't some kind of men's product. As far as straightening and smoothing, seems to work fine, I don't think it's a miracle product or anything. I'll use what I got in the sample, but I wouldn't be able to get past the smell to buy a full-size bottle.

A little shampoo goes a long way. Works well with my thick curly hair leaving it smooth and less frizz. I live in Florida, so works well with all the Humidity. I use it with the Bb Straight Conditioner

Great shampoo! I use it with the Bb Straight Conditioner and the Bb Straight Blow Dry. Cleans hair well and doesn't weigh hair down at all. Definitely helps to reduce frizzies. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it's so expensive.

I don't use flat irons and I only bought this product because the sales representative from B&B told me it would help my curly hair even if I didn't use a flat iron.

Overall this shampoo was ok. It did make my hair straight but also felt a bit sticky, coated and flat. Would be great for those with very thick and coarse hair, not those with fine or already relatively straight hair.

I bought this after hearing great things about the B&B Straight blow-dry cream (which I still have- still testing.) I needed new shampoo & conditioner so I figured I'd splurge for the whole line. I used the shampoo & conditioner (alone, no styling products, etc.) for several weeks and did not have any positive results. It seemed to leave a thick film on my hair no matter what, and I ended up getting an itchy scalp and dandruff. I returned it and am trying something else. I have very thick hair that is very wavy and was hoping this would help me out a bit, but it was not the solution for me.
