What's with the jar?

This product does everything it says it will. It's perfect, but I will never buy it again. I've had it just under 2 months. I used 1 pump per day only in the morning. And now it's empty! At least I think it's empty. The jar is so over engineered that I can't open the darn thing to look in it. The pump could be broken for all I know and I still have a month's worth of gel left. It's a mystery. I don't mind clever packaging, but this is ridiculous. Going back to Philosophy.

Quick Take: lightweight, absorbs quickly, not greasy
I am definitely a "toiletry junky" I love trying out everything just because. This one was amazing. I have oily skin most of the time, and dry skin sometimes. This being a gel balanced out my skin drastically. I live in Las Vegas and it's hot, this was perfect! I'm addicted. Not one ACNE breakout since using this.

I think this gel moisturizer is great for oily skin. It adds just the right amount of moisture. If you are sensitive to cooling or warming facial products, the fact this is a cooling gel is something to consider. I've found the cooling sensation lasts about 10 minutes after application, so if you're not fond of that feeling, you may find it uncomfortable.

For the last six months I had been having terrible breakouts, primarily on my forehead and cheeks where I had never had them before. I am 22 and these breakouts were worse than I ever had in high school. I tried everything I could think of to clear it up. I was getting acne scars.
I've never used a moisturizer in my life and I don't like to wear to much on my face and love products that fulfill multiple needs. The consultant at Sephora suggested this and I love it. It feels tingly and fresh when I use it. The texture is gel-like so it is very light. My breakouts cleared up in a couple days. It's been a couple weeks now and you can barely tell I had a problem before. I don't have to wear concealer anymore. I also feel good about the natural ingredients and the fact that it doesn't have animal testing, etc.

I love this line. I use this moisturizer every night after I wash my face with the Bosica Black Facial Cleanser. I love how my skin feels after I put it on. And how smoothly my makeup goes on since I've been using it. My only complaints are the price and the pump dispenser. I can't see how much product I've used :/ Other than that, it's a great buy and I will probably repurchase in the future.

I purchased this during the Chic Week sale and had my cart filled up. I had been going back and forth on this moisturizer and almost didn't purchase it. I had another moisturizer in my basket that I was sure I would love more and boy, I was wrong!
I love that you have to pump this out, it is easy to travel and you do not need much product to go a long way. It comes out black and after you apply it, your skin starts to tingle/feel cool. It makes your skin feel soft and it feels like it is protecting/healing your skin, too. No worries, it is not heavy as this is a gel moisturizer.
I have noticed a major improvement in my skin tone, texture, pore size and my acne has decreased a good amount.
The reason I was purchasing this was due to my acne and wanting a daytime moisturizer that would hydrate, without making my oily skin more oily. This is a perfect moisturizer for that and it is something I don't ever want to not have.
I will be checking out more of this line from Boscia.

I adore this moisturizer. First and foremost, it is very light and doesnt make you oily at all after applying it (which is the greatest in my book because so many moisturizers out there make me look like a skillet). And when I wake up in the morning, my face doesnt get oily overnight either! It's wonderful.
I also love the mentholly-cooling feeling this moisturizer leaves you with. It just feels so refreshly cool on my face & that it is working.
After a week, I have noticed that my acne redness is reduced, my oil levels in my skin have gone down and my acne scars appear lighter too!
If you are looking for something light, this is definitely the moisturizer for you!

This would have been a great product if it had not broken my sensitive skin out. But Dolores, Virginia, & Diva at Sephora were wonderful. They helped me find a suitable product to replace this one.

I got this as a package when I bought my Clarisonic. The one thing I hate about this gel is that it feels sticky after I applied it on my face and I have to wash my hands afterward. The hydration was decent. I have oily skin so I do like the fact that this gel doesn't make my face feels greasy. I would not buy this after I run out.

I have combination skin and this absorbs instantly and has a pleasant cooling sensation for a few minutes. My skin has never looked better and my make up glides on now. I like the scent also and have gotten past the fact that it is a black gel I am putting on my face every night! The color is not an issue after application - it dries clear.

I was surprised by this. The packaging is very different, but it works well. The gel itself is a charcoal color, but make skin look clean and bright. I think it has menthol in it, because the first time I put it on, it left my face feeling very cool. I like this product, but I wish it was a little bit more moisturizing.

I have large pores, huge pores,oil, sun spots, you name it, I got it. I have recently become very conscious of what I put on my face to make it better and not worse and have really enjoyed using this product. I can't say it's worked like a magic eraser but it really makes my skin feel fresh, hydrated, and my pores have decreased in size. It's light and just enough moisture someone with oily skin needs. I'm on my second bottle and will continue to purchase.

I have mixed skin and this product helps me keep it moisturized, without leaving a heavy, greasy feel or feeding my acne. I can't say it has helped minimize my pores, however it's still a great hydrating gel and in my perception as close to natural as a gel can get. I have become quite attached to it, you could even say a loyal customer. It is pricy, but worth it.

I have dehydrated skin with oily tendencies. The gel provides great hydration *i use it at night
PRO: 1) doesn't clog pores,2) hydrating, 3) lightweight
CONS: 1) packaging is terrible!!! After 3 uses, I started having trouble getting the gel out of the press-top (probably clogged). They need to package this in a squeeze tube, or open tub. 2) smell can be offputting
