Quick Take: good value
I just bought this gift set, for a wonderful price, and just adore it! I love the light clean citrusy scents, but with a dash of champagne! As mentioned with other reviewers, it doesn't last all day. I'll have to try the clothing spray technique. Either way, I love, love the scent!

an amazing scent at an amazing value

Quick Take: travel-friendly, good value
I discovered the citron de vigne fragrance when I received a sample with a purchase once. It is a light citrus with earthy notes that is both bold and sweet at the same time. This set is a great value, considering the bottle of fragrance spray one it's own costs $38. I will be taking the lotion and spray combo on an upcoming vacation as their size is also very TSA-friendly. :)

Maybe it is the "earthy vines" smell?

The eau de toilette had an old, dusty smell to me, not a fresh citrusy scent. I smelled the lotion in the bottle, and it did have a fresh citrusy scent, but when I sprayed the eau de toilette on my skin I was less than pleased with the fragrance. I kept smelling my wrists over a period of a couple of hours, hoping the dry-down notes would turn into something I liked (which often happens to me with perfume), but the scent continued to smell like an old lady's dusty attic. I will be returning this set.

Quick Take: good value
This scent was good, but not a permanent item for me. It does smell really good but it's the sort of thing that I'd like to smell in a quaint little boutique but it's not the kind of scent that I'd like to personally smell like. It's odd to describe, kind of spicy in a way. I probably wouldn't mind it as a room spray or a sheet spray I just wouldn't want to walk around smelling like it myself.

I gave these away as sets for x-mas after buying one for myself. Pretty amazing universal clean scent. The size makes travel friendly and the presentation of the packaging makes it an ideal gift!

Quick Take: travel-friendly, good value
I've been watching the spray perfume for awhile now, since I received a sample with my online purchase. I liked the way it smelled, but couldn't justify how expensive it was, especially because the fragrance really doesn't last long. But this set is amazing! I didn't even know there was a lotion, but layering the lotion with the fragrance makes it last a lot longer. Also, I spray the perfume down the inside of my shirt and it lasts all day on my clothing, not sure why it goes away after an hour when sprayed on my skin. Must be my body chemistry? Anyway, I LOVE this scent. At first it smells like oranges, or citrusy, then it fades away into warm sandalwood (?). Not too good with "notes" but it smells delicious. I probably wouldn't have liked this frangrance 10 year ago - so not a good gift for a high schooler. Oh, and not sure what I'm going to do with the sugar cubes.. What an odd thing to add to a set. I wish they would have included the bar of soap instead. Hope this helps!
