this is a great deal, especially if you're wanting to try Tarte for the first time, fyi... it's my favorite brand! everything I ever get from them is amazing and beautifully natural. you're going to love it.

Quick Take: okay, eyeliner is amazing
Overall, I was disapointed with this set. I kind of feel like I got ripped off.
Bag- cute and spacious
Brush- nice quality and soft
Eyeliner- the only thing I loved from the set. Would defiantly repurchase.
Powder- it does a nice job keeping skin matte, but leaves you Casper white. And it's tiny so I could barley get my brush in it.
Lipgloss. Would be nice if it was bigger... Very pigmented, but doesn't last long at all.
Cheek stain- again tiny. And you have to work very fast with it. But it looks nice and natural.
Mascara- I WOULD'VE liked this if it wasn't completely dried up...
Brush- nice quality and soft

I gave this to friend starting internship and in college...she loved everything in it. She rated 5 stars and excellent value. she added q-tips, perfume and powder brush and it is her 'go with' kit.

Quick Take: great
This is a very good starter set. I fell in love with each of the products, except the mascara which doesn't lengthen and seems a bit dry. The eye liner goes on really smooth with the brush that is included. The blush is surprisingly not bright and adds an element of "flushed" youth. The setting powder and lip gloss are both amazing.

the mascara is everything i need except i wish it was at least more waterproof!!! dont plan on crying with this on. the eyeliner is great!!! its very soft so be careful. the lip gloss is too bright for my tan skin but goes on non sticky and even. the brush sheds the tiniest bit in the beginning on the wide side, but only around 2 hairs. the powder is nice but the container was tiny!!! very cute bag btw. bigger than i expected. cheek tint is nice and blendable.

Quick Take: useful, convenient, glamorous
Here's another tempting Tarte limited-edition kit that is irresitible -- for seven very good reasons. There isn't anything you won't love in this grouping of must-haves. The waterproof liner in Bronze and the double-ended eyeliner brush are worth the price of admission. Then you get the other products as well and they are nothing to sneeze at. With a full size mascara, the purse size natural cheek stain and a sumptuous lip gloss you'll have it made in the shade. Dust on a light touch of the finishing powder, grab your glambag and go!

Dried mascara and flakey eyeliner

Quick Take: old product
I was really looking forward to this set, since it had so many things in shades I knew I could wear. Unfortunately, the full sized mascara was dried out. The eyeliner is a pretty shade, but is very flakey going on. This would have been a good value if the two full-sized items were wearable, but they aren't. So, I will be returning this.

This set is a great deal for anyone looking to try Tarte's products. The mascara is nice, and full size. The Eye Liner is a pretty bronze color great for everyday, holidays, or for a summertime bronze look. The Smooth Operator is a nice finishing powder, it looks like a small amount but it'll last you for quite a while. The lip gloss is nice and hydrating, pretty Barbie pink color, if you are into that. The only thing is the cheek tint. I haven't figured out the best way to apply this yet, but when simply swatched its very pigmented and pretty.

Quick Take: disappointing, product control please!
I dropped 30 dollars on this "playful seven piece kit" and was very disappointed with the full size mascara that seems and smells...old and dried out. Just got the kit yesterday. I love TARTE products.This kit was just in the storage too long. The other products were just ok...The only products which stand out are the cheek stain...highly pigmented and gentle on my skin...The waterproof liner does not budge...Good deal there. Please...Quality control on mascara that has been in a warm room or storage for over three months Sephora! Again...The main reason I purchased this was for the full size mascara...the other Tarte products did not really come through for me for a 30 dollar reduced price value.

Quick Take: good value, travel size, good variety of products
After falling in love with the black version of Tarte's emphasEYES I was quick to purchase this set. Here you get the full sized liner in bronze as well as the liner brush which is normally valued at $22. You also get a full sized Lights, Camera, Lashes!, which I've found to be a pretty decent mascara valued at $19. That would be $41 just for these two products alone, and you get them both and more for just $35!
The emphasEYES waterproof liner is what has forever converted me from a pencil liner to a gel base. I personally love the control and precision you get from applying liner with a brush, versus using a pencil, but liquid liner can be a little finicky. This is the perfect balance between the two. It glides on easily, but does not have that wet almost uncomfortable feel that comes with liquid liner. You can smudge it for a smokey look, or draw a perfect line. Either way, it will stay perfectly put after it dries. I would suggest using eye primer to extend the wear time of your liner, though. The bronze color that comes in this particular set is really beautiful.
Lights, Camera, Lashes! is a pretty standard black mascara. It does a decent job of adding length and volume, but because it's not waterproof, can be subject to some flaking/racooning by the end of a long day.
The other products in this set are also a lot of fun. They are all deluxe sample sized.
The cheek stain allows for a natural and sheer wash of color. It is a bit sticky, and it doesn't seem to dry (although setting it with the powder in this set will help). I find it's best applied by dotting it on and gently blending with your fingers.
The lip gloss is sheer, although a pretty bright pink, which may be unappealing to some. The texture is creamy and I found the formula to be relatively moisturizing.
Lastly is the Smooth Operator Finishing Powder, which I probably use the least of all these products. It is helpful to set any kind of cream/liquid foundation/blushes/etc.
All in all I would recommend this set to anyone who is interested in seeing what Tarte is all about, either as a gift to yourself, or to someone else!

This purchase is totally worth it! If you've never tried Tarte before, I highly recommend this purchase because it gives you a great sampling of all their best products. My personal faves are the mascara and cheek stain. I have yet to find a product that works as well as these do.

Quick Take: good value, travel size
This is my first time using Tarte makeup, as I've been back and forth about trying out the cream stick. I'm a new fan! This Glambag is the perfect purchase for trying out Tarte products at a fantastic price! The mascara comes in a full size. I have yet to try the lipgloss, as the color is a little too pink for my Asian skintone. I LOVE the cream stick and am so glad I tried it! The color is pinker than I would probably have purchased, but I use it when I am wearing bright colored clothing. I use my fingers to apply it to the apples of my cheeks, and it leaves a perfect "flush" to my cheeks! I wish they actually sold more in this travel size! My new favorite liner is their Amazonian Waterproof Clay Liner! It comes with a brush that makes it so easy to apply! The product is so smooth, it just glides onto my eyelids so easily, and it lasts all day long without creasing, as other brands do. I will be purchasing more of this product in different colors. I have only tried the finishing powder once and couldn't really tell what it does, exactly, so I'll leave the review on that product out for now. I definitely recommend this gift set. Actually thinking of buying another one, myself!

Quick Take: long-wearing, highly-pigmented, value
You know, the value on this kit isn't bad since you are getting two full-sized items; however, the mascara (which I was really lookin forward to) was incredibly dry. This product must have been sitting in the warehouse for a long time. The eyeliner and brush were great and long-wearingand now I feel comfortable order other colors. This was also the first time I have ever tried the blush stick which I also liked. The first time I put it on, I rubbed it in to blend but that was a big mistake since I put it on over makeup and it took my makeup off. I found it easier to simply pat to blend the product. It looks really natural. Haven't found much use for the setting powder, but it's gotten good reviews from other users. Mostly, I was just bummed about the mascara. Oh, and the lip gloss is severely candy pink. Yes, I said severely.

Quick Take: good value, travel size, flattering
I've been eyeing this set awhile and just picked it up. Overall, I'm really fond of it. The mascara (full size) is really nice and gives great definition, volume and separation to the lashes. I don't really like the packaging on the mascara, but the actual product is great. The blush looks very bright in the tube, but goes on easily and looks pretty natural. I have light, neutral skin and it makes me look as if I have just come in from cold weather. The gloss is flattering, not sticky, and a great shade, though the flavor tastes like a mix of fruit and bubblegum. The liner is great (unlike their retractable pencil liner) and goes on smoothly. The color is very flattering on light skin. Also, the finishing powder is great at making everything look smooth and seamless.
I would recommend this set, especially if you're looking for something to give you a refreshed, natural look.
