This is by far the best deal. I use the SHEER and it's beautiful once you pat this on over your finished makeup routine. It covers all blemishes and makes you look like you got airbrushed. Fabulous!! It lass forever too!

Translucent not too white

My skin changes color a lot, as I live in a place with a lot of sun. It is impossible to keep matching my color to a powder. I was worried that the translucent powder would be too white, and make me look chalky, but it doesn't! It is a nice finishing powder that temporarily gets rid of shine. I just wish it had a little more SPF in it.

I was in the market for a touch up powder that was light and absorbent and didn't leave my face looking ghastly white. I purchased the tinted color because I have medium skin and was blown away by the quality of the product and that it basically lived up to the hype. I recommend this powder for touch ups and even a light base if you want to rock the natural look.

I bought this to touch up my makeup throughout the day, but I must say the compact has a really strong chemical smell. The powder is labeled "Translucent" but when you apply it, it will make you look kinda pale. What I like about the powder is that its portable and has sunblock which is more convenient than toting around a giant bottle of sunscreen. Also this makes my skin dry and patchy. I might not buy this again.

I don't use any other Bare Mineral products , but I love this powder! I use Bobbi Brown foundation and use this as a touch up during the day. It is absolutely awesome. Cuts the shine and is perfect shade. I bought translucent.

I purchased the Touch Up Veil to keep in my purse to touch up those annoying shiny spots. My biggest complaint is that it seems too thick. It looks caked on. I was hoping for something light-weight.

I like it....the only thing is I have really dry skin and it sometimes dries my skin out...even though it says it won't. When I use more face moisturizers underneath, everything works fine, esp. for those long days.

I did not care for this powder. I have normal skin (not even remotely dry), and this made my face feel dry. I could always feel it on my face, and it settled in the few fine lines I have around the eye area. I think this would work better for teens/20s, and those with oily skin. I would not recommend for normal/dry skin.

I bought this because i usually get oily on my tzone on my forehead. This really helps with that without being too heavy on my face its very light as is all bare minerals products. LOVE bare minerals!

This product was recommended by a sales associate to use as a touch up/blot powder for my midday shine in the t-zone area. I wasn't sure what to expect but I was surprised! This powder is amazing and it does the job well! At 3 pm I have no slick shiny face but a nice smooth complexion. I'm hooked! I purchased the tinted shade and no problem with color on my skin.

I love this even more than the original mineral veil! Which i love! I still use a soft face brush to apply this instead of the applicator provided. There is no mess and no waste with this product as there is with the original veil, yet gives the same flawless airbrushed look.

I used this with a light hand and it still made me look tooooo white. I'm medium complection so then I tried the tinted, it made my skin look smooth and pretty but wayyyyy to dark and slightly orange. Oh, and the reviews that say this smells like pledge is dead on! I kept the compact open in a drawer for almost 2 weeks in the hopes that it would "air out" but that awful smell never went away.

This powder definitely eliminates shine. Maybe a little too well. I don't care for the powdery look it gives you. I bought the translucent shade. If you give it a little time to sit on your face, it disappears a bit. I still don't like how noticeable it is. Someone with very oily skin might like this product more than I do. My skin really only needs blotting papers. I like the ones from Boscia!
