Quick Take: good quality, long-lasting, unique
This purchase was actually a last minute decision when we were at the counter, but I am really glad that we decided to buy it because the result was amazing! It was a really unique effect controlled by how much of the special effects polish you put on. The polish is of good quality and lasted longer than I expected, I tend to be hard on my nails so that's a good thing. I lucked out because it was on sale, but I would be willing to pay full price for it.

Quick Take: fun, novelty
I bought this on sale for $10, which I think is reasonable but not a huge steal. The flakie overlay polish is the real star here. It looks gorgeous over so many polishes, it's really fun to play with. I was impressed with the density of the flakes, and the uniqueness of the green-blue iridescence. The quality of the polish in terms of wear and shine is good but not the best.

Sticky but Pretty

Quick Take: sticky, gorgeous
When I first bought this, I was really excited to try it because it looked so beautiful. The base color, also known as the Chelsea Black was very pretty and a gorgeous black with a plum undertone. After I put it on though, I noticed that it was still not dry and a bit sticky. After waiting for 5 minutes on each hand, I decided to apply the top coat and when I put it on, the plum polish came of with it. I was dissapointed and gave it another try. I waited for like 10 minutes this time and everything went well and the results were absolutely gorgeous. I love how the sparkles glimmer in the light.
Overall I really like this product because it is really pretty and worth the price. It is technically like $5 per bottle which is around the price of drugstore nail polishes and you can also use them with other polishes for pretty combinations. If you don't mind waiting a bit for the polish to dry I say go for it and buy the set.

This will provide a very pretty effect and something fun to use for a few days. The teal color is very thick and will look almost black once the two coats are applied, as instructed.

I absolutely love this nail polish duo! I like to call it "venom." Ha ha! It is fairly long-lasting... but takes a bit of time to cure so it can be messed up even hours after applying. (There are usually at least 3 layers of polish, after all!)
The Special Effects topcoat looks great combined with other nail polishes as well.

Such a cool color combo and you can use the top coat on other base colors and it looks cool.
The polish stays on your fingers for weeks without chipping and I have a job that requires a lot of use of my hands and nails.
I was very impressed.

Easy to use and dries rather fast. I put this on my toes and the effect is stunning. I love it. I am going to experiment with the special effects coat on different colors, but on the Kensington color it is fantastic.

This nail polish set is amazing! I'm in love with it. The teal black is awesome by itself, but with the overglaze on top they're really incredible. They look sort of green in some light and blue in others!

LOVE the color and the glitter layer, only problem is it flakes off easily, even with a super sticky base applied first. It is gorgeous. For those complaining about "gunkiness", you don't need to apply more than one coat of the base color because the consistency is like liquid acrylic. The product spreads a great deal on it's own, don't over brush it.

The base coat in this set is, hands-down, the longest lasting nail polish I have ever tried. Used alone or with the topcoat, I find it lasts without chipping for at least a week. The black-teal color looks great on its own but I also love the effect these have together. The irregular flecks of glitter really make the final product interesting.

i really enjoy the base teal nail color that i got in this package. However, the gloss made it look more emerald green than the picture suggests. I REALLY wish it come out more blue. also the nail color stained my nails really bad. I will use the overgalze with other colors and use a base with the blue. overall its an okay package but needs some tweeking

I thought this nail polish was great once it dried. And that's exactly the problem, it took forever to dry and by the time all the coats get applied it was really gunky. I personally don't have the time or patience for this nail polish but it does have a cool effect to it!

I love this color combination! The base polish is a deep teal color. After two coats it looks pretty dark, almost black. The topcoat is AMAZING! The green flecks in it are sooo super pretty. You can use them separate but I haven't tried that. I give it four stars because the teal polish is very thick. i use two light coats to make it look even. It also started chipping a little after day two so use a good topcoat!

I am really loving these sets! I have this and Donmar and I will probably buy Old Vic as well. Wyndham has the most gorgeous dark teal polish that I'm looking forward to wearing on its own as well. The holographic glaze top coat is just fantastic, and the staying power was ridiculously long. I'm talking 2 weeks, shows, socks, barefoot...nary a chip. Wonderful stuff.

i was skeptical buying this set because of the price. when i used it for the first time i couldn't stop looking at my nails! i received several compliments in the 7 days i had it on. within the 7 days it did start to chip on the second day, but also i had my hands submerged in while doing dishes for at least an hour. i thought the teal was very dark for me but after you put the fx top coat on it lightens it up some. to achieve the amount of fx topcoat similar to the look on the box, i applied 3 coats. i wish the fx glitter to polish ratio had more glitter, because then i wouldnt have had to use 3 coats. when you apply it it almost looks like a moonstone or a opal with the multi dimension top coat.

Quick Take: unique, stunning, fun, pretty, inventive, eye-catching
This nail polish is amazing. I stopped into Sephora today just to look around and I noticed this on an end cap. Right away I took off my nail polish on a couple of fingers to try this and the plum and oh my goodness! While the plum wasn't my favourite this teal was amazing. I couldn't stop staring at it and my boyfriend bought it for me right away as an extra Valentine's gift. I'll be using this pretty much all the time. It went on creamy and when it dried it looked almost gel like it was such a deep colour. I'm so excited t show it off!
