Quick Take: travel-friendly
To keep this first part short and sweet, I love the case and the blender itself, but hate the solid cleanser. Keep reading if you want to know the details!
I've been an avid beautyblender fanatic. My first kit had the liquid cleanser in it and I got this one because I wanted an easier way to travel with my blender. I love the case itself and the white blender makes it so that no dye runs from the sponge.
Unfortunately, I can't stand the solid cleanser. It was alright at first, but then created a spot where it was impossible to clean. That created a strange dent in the bottom of my blender and then it lead to a rather large hole. My last blender lasted nearly 8 months with the liquid. The solid only 4. It really just beat up my beauty blender and that does not fly in my book. I'd use the solid cleanser on a very rare occasions and would stick to the liquid for sure.

Quick Take: travel-friendly
I bought this in the hopes that it would make travelling with it easier. The mesh pouch it came with was great with a magnetic closure. However, the cleanser itself (the solid part) did not clean as well as the liquid version. I also found myself cleaning the solid cleanser itself after washing my blender just to get rid of the leftover makeup that is "swimming" in it after swiping my cleanser. Overall, I'm glad I tried it but I'm sticking with the liquid version unless I don't have space and don't want to risk spilling anything (although I just put it in a ziploc bag). It does smell similar (lavender).

Quick Take: good value, travel-friendly, perfectly flawless

bought elsewhere for half the price

I bought this at a local drugstore for half the price, and really thought it was a good value for half the price. I primarily use it to blend under-eye concealer and cheek contour color. The blender helps get a very natural look. Many people let their brushes and applicators get very dirty, as an acne sufferer I believe in washing everything regularly. I will use this solid cleaner to clean my brushes as well when travelling. Sephora should lower their price, though!!

Like Beauty Blenders, but

Really like Beauty Blender sponges and own pink versions. I was looking forward to owning the pure version because sometimes the pink dye runs on the originals. However, upon receipt of this item, I decided that the price was not worth it. it comes with 3 pieces: a beauty blender in pure, a solid version of their sponge soap, and a travel/drying case. I didn't want the solid soap or the case, but figured it would be eventually used, but would have preferred to have two sponges in the kit for the price. There is nothing particulary wrong with the quality of the soap or case, but I couldn't justify spending 50 dollars on only 1 item that I really wanted. Will switch back to foundation brush since it's also less disposable than the beauty blenders to begin with.

Quick Take: improvement upon original, smooth coverage, easy to use
I have been a huge fan of beautyblender sponges for 2 years or so. The application of my foundation is always light, even, and easy. These sponges give an application that is hard to replicate with your standard sponge or foundation brush.
That being said, there are always things I thought could be improved upon and this new kit delivers. The bag for drying is probably my favorite feature, as I never knew where to store my sponge for drying without worrying about mildew or a funny smell. Additionally, I love the solid cleanser: I never felt like the liquid cleanser lasted long enough. It also appears that there has been some changes the sponge itself - I prefer the white color over the standard pink, but this feels softer than my beautyblenders in the past few years. Overall, is the kit somewhat overpriced? Yes. However, I feel this is a solid product incomparable to anything else out there, and for that, I don't mind spending the extra money. Plus, the sponge absorbs less foundation than a standard sponge or brush, and in the long run, will probably save you money.

Quick Take: ideal for travel, hanging mesh bag is a nice feature, sponge is the best, sponge is great for a variety of products
I love my beautyblender products. The sponges are beyond compare, last a very long amount of time, and the sponge cleansers are gentle to sponges, yet very effective. I developed my love of cosmetics when I was very little, when my beloved grandmother would let me place with her cosmetics. She had different sponges and those big fluffy puffs that all the women of her time used. My grandmother showed my how to apply powders with the different sponges and puffs, and taught me the important of washing everything when we done. My grandmother was a stickler for cleanliness and care of her makeup tools was imperative.
I've been using beautyblender products for about two years. I was happy to discover the beautyblender PURE Kit. The sponges, both the original pink ones, and the one in this kit, are phenomenal. There's so much you can do with them. They're great for application of treatment and preventative products. It's easy to manipulate treatment products around hairline, eyes, nose, and mouth with the perfectly sized sponge. It allows me to get as close as possible to my eyes without fear of getting anything into my eyes or on my lashes. They're also great for application of various makeup products. They pick up the correct of amount of product, with no waste. They can be used with any liquid or semi-liquid product or cream (creme) products, and even works well with some powders. It's perfectly sized to get the products exactly where I want them (around eyes, hairline, nose), and are easy to grip. I do NOT use foundation, but know from friends that this is one of the best ways to apply liquid foundation. The sponges last for at least a year when taken care of properly. Application of products sometimes depends on good applicators, and these sponges are the best. Using it damp for products like primer and some of the products from my skin care routine has yielded excellent results. I like how the sponge gets bigger when wet.
The Pure Kit, in addition to the sponge, includes a SOLID blendercleanser which is ideal for travel. Even though the solid is small, I suspect it will last a long time, because dampening it, and using it for cleansing the sponge uses very little product. In my experience, regular bar soap often lasts longer than liquids weighing quite a bit more. I hope this will be the case with the SOLID although can't tell, at this point. For travel, though, this can't be beat. It smells really nice, and is almost aroma therapeutic in nature. The lavender scent is extremely relaxing and comforting. Also included in this kit is a mesh bag which is well designed with a hanging tab so that the sponge can air dry in the bag, without having to sit on counter. This is great when traveling, because I never put anything on hotel counters, since there's not way to know how clean they may or may not be.
I really like this kit. It's great for travel. While it might look expensive at first, when you figure out that the sponge can last for years if taken care of and cleansed daily, and that one sponge costs approximately $20. it becomes more reasonable. The SOLID can be used for all sponges, and works well for other applicators, too. A solid is much more convenient for travel, too. I've used it successfully with my brushes, too. The SOLID won't spill, obviously, since it's not a liquid. It meets TSA regulations for in-cabin transport, making it one less liquid I have to deal with. The mesh bag is a also a nice feature. I'm 100% pleased with the kit, and highly recommend it.

Quick Take: amazing
I really love this kit and the beauty blender sponge is amazing! When I use this to apply my foundation it gives a flawless look and it is really easy to use. I find that it is especially good to use if you have any red spots or blemishes that you want to cover. As far as the travel cleaner and the carrying case, they are both great! The cleaner is very easy to use- just wet the sponge a little and rub it onto the cleaner. It lathers well and cleans the sponge effectively. The case is so convenient because you can store your beauty blender in it to dry out even if you aren't traveling. I also appreciate the fact that the sponge is white and very "clean" looking, lol. Overall, I would highly recommend this kit!

Way Overpriced

I love the white sponge (since I hate how the pink color always runs from the original the first few times you wash it). I also love the solid cleanser - just swipe the sponge across. No drips, no mess!
I was really excited about this until common sense kicked in and I realized it's way overpriced. At 1oz, the solid cleanser is 1/6 the size of the liquid. When you break the set down to price per item though it comes out almost twice as expensive.
Much better deal to buy the set of 2 sponges and the liquid cleanser. (Unless of course you value travel-friendliness that much.)
