Quick Take: big and soft, don't pill or fall apart, super useful
These large, soft, put-together facial cotton pads work wonders. They don't pill and break up with wet, can be used on both sides, and pack light. I'll take them with me everywhere. (Perfect for getting all the dirt off the back of your neck as well.)

I use only organic, toxic free products on my face and body now. So why would I use a washcloth that has been washed in harsh detergents to remove my makeup and clean my face? No way!! I use these. They are gentle and not chemically treated. Even cotton balls have been bleached.

Maybe I've been spoiled by Shiseido and how awesome their cotton is? I'm not sure. But I am sure that to me KGD's cotton is just slightly better than drugstore cotton squares. These shred too easily and leave a lot of fibers behind. While I am a big fan of many KGD products, their cotton I am not.

Not as good as Shiseido's

I prefer the Shiseido cotton pads to these. These can pull apart pretty quickly, and they don't hold the toner very well. Frankly DHC makes a cotton and silk pad that is the best ever and a really good buy.

These are great

These cotton pads are pretty great. I use them to apply toner to my face. They are rather large so I actually cut them in half (they are expensive so making them last twice as long is a plus!). They are really soft and apply the product nicely. The best part is that they are thin but absorbent so you need much less product than you would with a fluffy cotton ball. My only complaint is that they kind of roll up when I sweep it across my face.
