I love this spray. I had been wanting to try this out on my oily and acne-prone skin and the XL size went on sale, so I decided to give it a try. According to the directions on the bottle your supposed to apply this before and after makup application. I find that it works best for me applying it only after my makeup application. I use a mattifying primer before my liquid foundation and then, instead of powder, I use this spray to set my makeup. It keeps my makeup in place (especially my eye makeup), my face shine-free for hours, and it does not break me out.

I like to use this on days when temps and humidity are high. It doesn’t work well for me in the winter because it’s too drying so I switch to All Nighter for that season. De Slick adds a nice glow, kind of de-cakes makeup and provides a longer wear for makeup as well. It feels light on the skin and absorbs quickly when a light layer is spritzed on. For my acne prone skin it sometimes would cause some breakouts but nothing too bad.

Quick Take: refreshing
I like this better than any other makeup sprays I've tried. It keeps oily skin under control. I have dry skin but a super oily tzone. I am so glad I have this. The way I use it is spray it on after moisturizing (no need for primer) just spray face, apply foundation/powder, and spray again to finish.

I got the mini size at first because I wanted to try a setting spray. I was shocked at how well this worked and kinda want to smack myself for waiting so long to try it. This spray controls oil well and gives makeup a matte finish without a cakey fake look. Helps makeup stay on even through humid southern days :)

I absolutely adore this product , I originally tried it out as my free 100 point beauty perk after telling the associate that I wanted my makeup to stay put all day and not melt off and look gross. I was almost out of my freebie and I went to Sephora and found the XL size for only $17. I suggest that if you are a huge fan of this that you should go to your Sephora (mine was the one in the JCPennys) and buy it! It works great , my makeup lasts quite a bit longer (not 16 hours like it says though) but I can't seem to find anything that works better than this. (They also had the All Nighter spray on sale , if you prefer that one instead.) It's easy to spray, fast-absorbing, non-sticky, and feels very refreshing! I highly recommend this product!

At first I really wasn't sure about this I thought that maybe it would leave my make-up looking kinda caked on...BUT much to my surpise it didn't it's a really great product. NEVER have to reapply make-up later in the day. Good for all skin types.

This is definitely the best oil absorbing product i have tried. I was worried just because you are spraying a liquid on top of your makeup but it doesn't make your makeup run. My makeup lasts all day. It will be saving me money since i wont be using so much makeup no to reapply.

I was so excited to buy this product. I have oily skin so I am always eager to try any type of oild reducing product. But this product just did not deliver for me. I tried it for almost a month and did not notice any difference.

I have oily skin and especially in the summer time with the heat and humidity I find that my makeup doesn't last throughout the day and my face gets very oily late in the afternoon. However, misting my face with this setting spray after I've fully applied my makeup in the morning, keeps my face matte and my makeup looking fresh and more natural throughout the day. I've seen quite a few reviews saying that this spray made their skin more oily which I don't find to be true for me. All in all, I think this is a great product and would definitely recommend it to my friends!

After receiving a sample of De Slick with my last purchase, I knew I needed more than just a small size. I have oily skin, and keeping makeup on my face all day thru working, sweat, etc, is hard to do. I haven't been able to wear cream blush in years, and now I finally can! De Slick really does prevent oil from ruining my makeup, and keeps my face nice and smooth wherever I apply it. It does give that "matte" look, so no more shiny spots! I went in today to buy the full-size bottle, and when I saw the XL size (50% more) for only $5 more, I had to get it. Hands down one of the best products I've ever used on my face. A little bit does go a long away, so follow instructions on the back and enjoy this wonderful setting spray!

I actually bought a sample of the de slick with my insider rewards points. I had my doubts about this product. I honestly thought it was not going to work.
I tried it out a few times and i really didn't notice a difference at first. However, I went an entire week using only my primer underneath my makeup and that's when I noticed the huge difference in my makeup.
With de slick, my makeup really does stay in place for pretty much 6-8 hours even through perspiration and humidity. Also, it completely prevents all the oiliness from forming in my t-zone area.
I really like this product. I plan to purchase the XL size :)

This product did not give me lasting Mattification. Not even for I am not 30 minutes. I was over producing oils as a result of wearing this product. I do not recomend it.

I love this! It is a must! It keeps me from getting oiling, and keeps me matte, especially since it is summer. I am still trying to figure out amount of sprays to spray, but i am getting closer. I bought it in the trial size, and when I run out, I am definitely buying the big size. The only downer is, you can't spray it if you have eye makeup on, and it doesn't absorb as fast as I need it too.

Store was out of this so had to order on-line...which means husband had to know, LOL...found the XL and thought...AWESOME!!! The product is great. I use it as suggested both after my moisturizer and after my final application of make-up (before my mascara). I find that I stay matte all day, which is important to me. I use this combo with only Bare Minerals products (also purchased at Sephora). I would fully encourage anyone to purchase this product even without wasting your 100 points on the sample. Pump leaks and doesn't spray as well as the sample and was offered no suggestion on how to fix the solution other than a poor solution.

I have this in the normal size and I didn't realize how amazing it was until i went a day without it. After 6hours of wearing makeup on a hot day I realized my eyebrows were bleeding! (I use a eyebrow pencil) and my makeup just didn't look as good.
I would recommend this product to every women that wears a face of makeup because its super light weight and it will help keep your makeup together :)

Not worth it!

I actually returned this product yesterday. I used it for a week and, if anything, it made my face shinier than normal! I was very disappointed, however, the Sephora sales associate recommended I try the All Nighter spray by UD...in the trial size. So, I'm trying it out today, we'll see. I recommend trying the smaller version first or investing in blotting papers...this product did not work for me.

I have spent a fortune on beauty products, so I was skeptical about this, and much to my delight, it works! I use PUR powder foundation and Bare Minerals...works equally well with both products. This lasts all day, from 6:30 am until 10:00 pm!
