Quick Take: travel-friendly
I originally tried the mattifying treatment as a sample given to me in store. I loved it! it smells good, feels good, and mattifies. Not to an extreme extent, but it does help. When I got this kit, I was excited to try the primer too...however, it was somewhat disappointing. It didn't mattify well, and it seemed to cause minor nreak outs. I felt I would have been better off just buying the treatment.

I thought this was going to be the answer to my shiny problems- gave me more problems!! I really wanted to like these products because they are natural and I love the Korres lip butters and lip butter glazes but I was so disappointed.. both the treatment and primer feel nice when they go on but once you start smoothing it out over your face, they begin to ball up and look like eraser shavings- consequently the product ends up being removed because of that. So in light of that, I tried patting the product rather than smoothing it over my face and it seemed to work but once I applied my foundation, it began to ball up like those eraser shavings again and made it sooo difficult to apply anything! Primers are supposed to make makeup application easy and smooth- not insanely difficult. Anyway, point is this did nothing to mattify and the product goes on weird and does not stay and will make your life miserable. DO NOT BUY!

Quick Take: effective
I love Korres products -they never irritate my senstive skin. I didn't wear the mattifying primer today after using it all week and really noticed the diffference by afternoon. It has a little tint so you can wear it alone as well as under foundation or powder.

I love korres product I use it all the time I have a very oily t-zone I decided to give this small travel size product a chance since the big size is a lil expensive and what happens if it does not work with my skin type.I tried it loved it when it gets hot my pores open up alot and this product really controlled not only my oily skin that gets out of control in the summer and my pores it actually reduced my outbreaks that I usually get in the summer .this product is very light weight I love the natural look I don't wear make up and this gives you such an even tone natural look .now I'm off to buy the bigger size. Perfect size and prize to give it a try.

I bought this thinking great mattify and prime...great deal...I didnt see any difference after applying the mattifying treatment. The primer was really what disappointed me. Whether I put it on with fingers or a sponge the result was the same. It left residual on my face and fingers and didnt hold my make up in place. There was no flawless after using this product. Do not recommend

again on my search for the miracle products that claim to mattify...this does not so much. the treatment is shiny and stays shiny over moisturizer (as the directions stated to do). then the primer (as directed) to go over the treatment balls up and gets blotchy in those areas. i haven't found a way around that other than to skip the treatment step altogether and just use the two products separately instead of as a pair like it says to do. i don't find myself reaching for this everyday, as it is more of a hassle to remember to not use the two in conjunction. but for $15, ill deal with it and use them on a "as i remember" basis. repurchase...NO. i would not.

I bought this as a way to test the waters on the primer world. I have moderately oily skin and hate wearing foundation because it clogs my pores and makes my face feel like its covered in play-doh. I liked the treatment, it did make me feel protected from the foundation. The primer was good, but when I put the foundation on top it started to ball up and peel off which was weird. Maybe I just used it wrong, who knows. But to test it was worth the low cost. I recommend it!

The primer work terrible, don't like it at all. The primer look white on your face when first put on, drys very fast, and it comes out be just rubbing your face with your hand ones is dry. However it does minimize my pores, i like the smell and the price is not bad, but no i wouldn't recommend this to a friend. there's better products than this for pores.

I don't think these really do what they're supposed to do. I used them everyday until both were all gone but they were just OK. I don't think it's worth the price. The tubes are VERY small... I got about 3 weeks of use out of them. If I felt like they did actually mattify I wouldn't mind spending the money but my skin still gets shiny about midday, at which point I have to use oil-blotting sheets to mattify.

Mattifying Treatment: Comes out a little liquidy but it seemed to work well for my pores. Helped make my face look smooth.
Primer: Has a slight tint to it but it's great for me. I have light skin with yellow undertones so it blends perfectly. Do not rub too much or it will ball up. however, it helps keep my bare minerals makeup on and doesn't cause me to break out like a lot of other oily primers. Smells great and I love using it. Will purcahse the full size in both probably.

So glad I bought the trial versions first! Imagine my surprise when I found out I actually got oily from them. I do have a very oily T-zone and these didn't mattify even a tiny bit.
