Silk'n Flash&Go Replacement Cartridge

What it is: A disposable lamp cartridge designed specifically for the Flash&Go permanent hair removal Home Pulsed Light2th(HPL) device. What it does: Each lamp cartridge includes a built-in sensor to detect individual skintones, taking out the guesswork and adding safety during treatment. If skintones are darker than allowable, the applicator will not flash, thereby providing you a safe home hair removal experience. Each lamp cartridge delivers 1,000 pulses for various body areas in need of hair removal, including legs, arms, underarms, chin, and bikini line.

Expensive, but worth it
-05.12.13
Have been diligent with using the silk'n system and the results have been good, not as good as a real treatment, but still better than expected. It is an investment as new cartridges must be purchased, but it is relatively painless compared to real laser treatments and WORKS.

Quick Take: life changing, breakthrough
I have suffered for years with ingrown hairs and sensitive skin on my legs. I purchased this product and after 3 sessions, I have already seen a massive difference. The hair is now sparse and grows slowly. This is worth every penny

Works but must be patient
-04.22.13
Quick Take: a miracle
I have used about 10 cartridgs on my face in a span of 8 months....I know its quite a lot of cartdiges but my condition was quite severe. I did professional laser and it ruined my face, since then Ive been suffering with chronic facial hair.
However, this sytem worked amazing for my face....Its important to note that this requires alot of pateince. But i do feel the need to stress that professional laser did not suit me and it rather destroyed my face, whereas this machine truly is a blessing. Only problem is it can be costly. But I am very grateful! Also, as a side note, there are times where the hair growth plateus, DO NOT feel dishearted, its just how the process works. I had severe facial hair 8 months ago and is now 85 % less, I am positive the results will be sooner for most! Good Luck to whoever tries it!

WORKS, but Bulb and Electricity Bill Get Ya!
-04.09.13
No B.S.... this IS working for me. I am doing my forearms, legs, bikini area and underarms. Just finished fourth treatment and on the arms and legs there is only a quarter as much hair growing as before, it genuinely looks like i have a condition that only allows for little patches of hair to grow. Coarser hair of underarms and bikini area is being a bit more resistant so i might increase how often it gets zapped since it is stubborn and grows faster anyways. So yeah, I am glad I got it. However...
I am only five foot, and doing all the parts of my body mentioned I am going through one bulb each session. Also, HOLY ELECTRIC BILL!!! Don't get me wrong, I'm glad this is working, but I wish I would have caught on to how drastically this would be effected earlier in the game. Get creative in how you deal with these issues, I just want you to know ahead of time, it's definitely more than the initial cost. But hey, it's almost summer and I'm pretty close to hairless where I have zapped at this stage, so I'm happy.

For anyone wondering how long these cartridges will last, I used mine for 8 weeks as well as another person in my household used it for 4 weeks and it just died. In those 8 weeks we've done our underarms 4 times, legs (I've only done my thighs twice), underarms, bikini line, and chin area 6 times. So they do last for quite awhile and lots of uses . I hope this helps someone.

1000 flashes...no complaints
-03.03.13
I've been able to do a full body treatment (face, underarms, full arms, bikini, full legs) in one cartridge. Dermatologists charge about $1500 for 1 full body treatment. You will have to multiply that by 5 since 1 treatment won't do much.
Yes, the pro lasers are stronger than the Flash&Go but still I will gladly fork over $40 per treatment and not complain. So far it's been working for me as well as pro treatments have.

Frequent replacement
-02.13.13
The cartridge needs to be replaced more often than number of uses stated on the box. But it does work.

Takes time But def Works
-02.04.13
Quick Take: a miracle if your desperate!
i have been genetically cursed with severe body & facial hair. Ive been teased ALOT about it. Anyways, i got professional laser 6 years ago, and it ruined my face, the lady would shave in areas that i never had hair and then she would never zap them! (clever business on her part)....I still went for a total of 8 treatments and saw absolutely no results. Ive been struggling since until this September. It took me 5 months to reduce my hair with this machine and 8 cartridges for my face only. But i am ever so thankful that after 5 months i have seen a drastic improvement. I still have a long way to go, but i have to consider that my condition was so brutal, i swear i had a beard...the lady who did my professional laser runied my face! But now it has reduced by 40%. Still an improvement and a heck of alot better than my experience at professional laser. Im sure that most are not suffering like my case, and believe that they'll see faster results. Only problem is cartridges are expensive. But this has been a miracle machine for me. This is my honest review.

Runs out too quickly
-02.03.13
I have had professional laser done before so I know that the process is a long one, so this product seems to work very well. It does take a bunch of treatments to see any results but is starting to show. My only disappointment is that the cartridges run out fast so I am continually buying new ones.

Pale Skin + Dark Hair
-01.30.13
Quick Take: useful
I have pale skin and dark hair so laser hair removal works very well for me. I had gotten laser treatments in the past and it was an expensive process, but it did work for me. Investing in this laser has been totally worth it; it is more cost effective and I have pure control over when I do the treatments.
However, I wish the cartridges lasted longer. Some reviews suggest unplugging and plugging the cartridge back in when it has run out. As far as I can tell this doesn't really help because the flash becomes is too weak at that point to really have an effect.

Fast Results
-01.29.13
Quick Take: awesome!
I was really skeptical so I only did treatments on 1 leg so that I would be able to tell if it was really working and I've had it less than a month and do all of my treatments on the highest setting every sunday (at 4 treatments) and it's rediculous how well it is working. I am down to only having to shave the one leg once a week and even then it only has about 1/2 the amount of hair where the other I still have to shave every day (I have dark brown hair and fair skin) until it catches up (since I saw good results I'm starting on the 2nd leg now). Obviously it's not all gone yet but it is working very well and it is a bit time consuming to be thorough, but it's totally worth it.

Flash & Go Hair Removal
-01.18.13
Quick Take: is expensive but definitely worth the money.
This really works. I am Italian, 53 years old and have had hair under my chin, lip & around my face. I started using this last year in December 2012. It is January2013. I have no hair, when it does come in it is thinner and not so coarse! I use this every 6 to 8 wks now and I am whiskerless, mustacheless and hairless on my face. It is just like the real laser treatments but a lot less! It is worth the money! I tried that NO NO prduct and it is a No No!!! Doesn't work! Don't waste your money. Good investment for life!

So far so good!
-01.02.13
So I was very skeptical about this product. On my arms and legs I have used it twice so far. About a week after the second round of using this laser I noticed hairless ‘patches’ in shape of ovals and the size of the cartridge ‘lens’! And around it, hair grew in its natural speed. I literally had ovals/ hairless patches surrounded by hair on both legs and arms. I could see residue from where the hair was but I could clearly see the difference between that and the hair that continued to grow. I don’t know if the stop in the hair growth is permanent but for now after the second treatment this is the result that I saw. Since it’s hard to know which area you covered, I tried using electric razor in on area and immediately use this device on that same area and do so over and over again until the full body part was done. Clearly that was not precise enough. The company video says this method of hair removal weakens the hair follicle, which kind of made me a skeptic since it didn’t put emphasis on permanent removal.
Will keep updating after more sessions.

Great for at home, bulb usage tip
-11.27.12
Like many of the other reviewers I had my underarms and bikini line zapped about 10 years ago. This is the same technology, not as strong, but for home use. This is a big win. I thought the bulbs didn't last long either. Now whenever the gun says it needs another bulb I turn it off, pull the bulb off and put it back on. It's worked perfectly every time I've done it and the zaps look and feel the same. It upsets me to think how many good bulbs I trashed before!

It really does work
-11.02.12
It is not as good as an office laser hair removal but given that I have done many of those treatments and it was inconvenient to have to return to the doctor's office every 6-8 weeks, I enjoy using this at home for touch ups. Like all lasers you must use it regularly once the hair returns and it doesn't return the more you use it!
I only gave it four stars because I wish the cartridges lasted longer.

Quick Take: simple easy to use & effective
Great technology & I’m looking forward to see the next product. This laser is not as strong as in the office, however powerful enough to burn your skin. Use carefully & apply as described for best results.

-06.12.12
The flash&go works great!!! I have seen a DRAMATIC difference in my lip, underarms and my legs. Im so happy I found this and it works. Only reason I gave it 4 starts is because I wished the cartridges lasted longer.

WORKS LADIES! I HAVE PROOF!
-05.31.12
Yes, this does work. No, it is not a miracle product and you wont be hair free after one treatment, so don't expect it to perform magic. I don't use it as often as I should, but after 3 or 4 treatments, I have seen impressive results. I used it on low at first, and them immedietly went to the highest setting to stop wasting time. I am very fair, with very dark, course hair that crows from 1 to 5 hairs per follicle. I have 5 o'clock shadown on my legs hours after I shave. I have eczema and get razor burn like a mad woman. This is slowly reducing the regrowth, and some spots are missing hair completely. Overall it is helping keep my skin healthy looking as well as hairless. In my opinion, THIS IS AMAZING!
the pictures included are as follows.
Before: same day or next day afer shaving. can't remember. Even when I shave, you still see the dark hair under the skin anyway. Highly irritated, and just doesn't look nice at all.
After: I believe 3 or 4 days after shaving. Notice thinner regrowth, and certain spots aren't even growing at all or showing the hair under the skin. The tan also helps the look! (st. tropez tanning mouse)

Working!!
-05.25.12
Obviously its not an instant fix but its certainly working! Its working great on areas I had done YEARS ago in a doctors office and some hair had been left behind (I had about 3 sessions and spent about $800 ten years ago) - my lower legs, bikini and toes. Hairs on my chin are more stubborn but I'm only using level 3 on my face - better safe than sorry. "Moustache" is less though! Using on my underarms after waxing for a year or more there is a little trickier. Now that I have to shave there in between laser sessions I have a few ingrown hairs there (which is why I waxed there in the first place) and I will tell you if you have ingrown hairs it hurts when you use laser! I now use a solution for ingrown hairs after shaving there. But I can laser both underarms in less than 2 minutes and it took at least15-20 min to wax with a lot of clean up.
I love this thing and so glad I bought! Use your VIB 20% off next time it comes around and get it!
I will say I am a perfect candidate for this...I have fair skin and dark hair.
