This tinted moisturizer did not work for me. It provided very minimal coverage. I was informed by one of the associates that Laura Mercier products are supposed to be good but this one is not a keeper.

Quick Take: lightweight
I absolutely love this product, I already used it so I'm just giving a review in terms of the size. I think its a great save for the ones that use it daily like me. I just wish that Laura Mercier had another kind of presentation, I never get the right amount of product, because of the type of bottle.

I have used this for years but this current purchase seems like a different consistency. It seems thicker and doesn't go on even. I also think the Sand is too light for my skin.

Love this product! It gives amazing sheer coverage while still being lightweight and did not make my skin oily or dry. A Sephora rep helped find my perfect shade match (nude) and once I saw this luxury size was available, I was beyond excited!

I have tried multiple brands of makeup and everything seemed to cake on my face. Laura Mercier has been a life changer. I use all of her products and do not feel like my face is OVER DONE. the tinted moisturizer is perfect, I feel like I have no makeup on, but it still evens out my skin tone.

This tinted moisturizer is the best! It is light and not greasy on the face, and it provides great coverage with a soft, dewy finish. I recommend this to anyone looking for light, comfortable, all day coverage. I set it with Bare Minerals and I'm good for the day!! Try it!!!

Where do I start? I read an article and this was mentioned so I gave it a try and so very glad I did. This stuff feels so good going on and it stays. I have tried other tinted moisturizing spf products and hey do not feel like this. I will never be without this ever! Oh yes, it also has great coverage.

i love the coverage of this tinted moisturizer. i use the beautyblender to apply it and it gives a great sheer coverage. doesn't work well to cover any blemishes. but when you just need something light to even out your skin tone, it is perfect!
i just hate the packaging. the lid doesn't form a good seal and i end up loosing a lot of product in the lid or it leaks into my makeup bag if it ends up pointing down.

My Favorite Tinted Moisturizer

I first tried the LM Illuminating Tinted Moisturizer, and it was too shiny or "illuminating" for me. I did like the lightweight quality of the product so I wanted to order the regular LM tinted moisturizer.
Sand blends perfectly with my skin. I was happy to see that it was available in the luxury size. I use a foundation brush or stippling brush to apply it followed by some powder. It's great for buildable coverage. So some days I use it before applying foundation.

I've been using this tinted moisturizer for a couple of years now, and love it. Sheer coverage, not oily, all that good stuff. The luxury size only makes it better. My only gripe with the smaller bottle is that the product gets squeezed out by accident and I lose some of it in the cap. Given how expensive this is that really annoys me, but that is not an issue with this bottle. The cap is big enough to scoop out the moisturizer. Definitely a step in the right direction, but wish they would get better packaging.

This is my secret shortcut when I don't have time to apply makeup. I use my fingers to apply all over my face and then use a synthetic kabuki brush to blend it out into my hairline and neck and to remove excess from my eyebrows. Looks great all day and I usually don't even have to blot it like I do my regular foundation + oil-absorbing/mattifying moisturizer combination. This is a product that performs and one which I find myself reaching for and repurchasing often.
