I ordered this without smelling it first, but by the description sounded perfect and it is. The scent is a true vanilla and not cloying. It's light, but noticeable. This set is a great value. The shower cream is huge. The body body is nice and thick and hydrating. This makes great holiday gift.

Quick Take: good value, drastically changes depending on wearer's scent, very soothing, warm and inviting, a very calming scent overall, purely a vanilla-lover's sweet reverie
Personally, I love this scent. It's warm and delicious. I've been wearing it every day for two years and I'm constantly getting compliments (literally, friends will come over and ask just to smell me because of how calming the scent is).
I must warn that this scent, in particular, changes depending on who wears it. On some it smells like it has chocolate hints whereas on others it smells like lavender and cologne. It's very strong when it first goes on, but dies down after a while.
All in all, I find the smell fantastic. It's so warm and so inviting. In all my time wearing it, I haven't found one person who doesn't like the smell. I would suggest this product over any other perfume I've used.

I love Lavanila products... but this straight smelled like men's cologne. I sprayed it on before I went to bed... and I could still smell it strongly when I woke up. So, it's good that it lasts (as most Lavanila products do) but it is ATROCIOUS.

Quick Take: travel-friendly, good value, vanilla heaven
If you love vanilla and want to feel sensational,; then you will love this set. The Body and Shave gel are a plus. I can save money on shaving lotion and enjoy the body wash as I shave. The perfume alone is higher than this set. Please don't waist anytime and go out and grab this set. You will be happy that you did. By the way did I say this smelled incredible.

Quick Take: good value
The set was cheaper than the purfume alone, so I decided to get it to try the body wash and lotion. The perfume is awesome. It smells like cake, but not too overpowering. The body wash is amazing, but the lotion is not the best. The lotion smells a bit different than the other two products. I absolutely love this scent. It smells like organic cake with woodsy clean hippie undertones. BUY IT!!

I tried this scent in a Sephora store but they didn't have any sets so I decided to look online. I found this great set that I just love. The scent is delicious, very vanilla-y but soft and not too overpowering. The body wash is non-drying and leaves my skin silky. The lotion absorbs quickly and leaves a nice clean scent.
I wear this almost every day because I like to switch out with other scents. I have been coming back to this one a lot.
If you like vanilla but don't want it to be too overpowering, this set would be great for you.

I think that this set is a great way to introduce what I believe are terrific products! Otherwise, I would not have known about the great shower gel - great scent, the body cream, which is very moisturizing and full of good ingredients, or the spray fragrance which is a pretty good size so you get to layer the beautiful vanilla fragrance for a few weeks... nice!

I LOVE Pure Vanilla! I got a sample of the fragrance in another purchase and fell in love. After I purchased the Pure Vanilla Luxury Set I threw out all my other perfumes because this smells SO DELICIOUS. This is the best and only fragrance I need.

Quick Take: good value
Since scent is a very subjective thing, all I will say is that I think this is a very delicious and comforting scent. I will focus the rest of my review on other factors of these products.
The body wash smells great in the shower but the scent has little lasting power beyond the tub. That's pretty standard for most body washes, though. I also was somewhat disappointed in the lathering quality of the wash considering its name. I didn't find it to be more lathering than a typical wash, in fact, I needed a lot more product on my washcloth to get it to the same lathering quality as my other body washes. However, I've also had body washes that were a lot worse in terms of lathering so I'd say this is probably somewhere in the middle.
The lotion feels creamy and smooth on my skin. The scent lingers for several hours also and leaves my skin feeling moisturized for most of the day.
The perfume is my favorite part of this because it has the longest staying power. At the end of the day, I can still smell it on me and in my clothing and I only use one or two spritzes.
If you like this scent, it's worth the cost for all these products.

Perfect Vanilla scent

This is my favourite vanilla scent. It reminds me so much of the Comptoir Sud Pacific line Sephora used to carry. I've been stopped by several colleagues and complete strangers (men and women) to ask what perfume I'm wearing. Even my sister, who is allergic to many scents, loves the smell and it doesn't give her any feelings of nausea or headaches. That alone is worth it. It's especially wonderful to note that Lavanila products are paraben and sulfate free. I do, however, question the "all natural" claim--I'm a skeptic of many so-called "green" products that are marketed as such. In any event, this is a great price for what you get.

Very Very Vanilla-y!
I prefer the other Lavanilla scents that are mixed with something else like grapefruit, passionfruit, etc.
Although I love vanilla, this particular scent is a bit sweet and sugary for me as an adult!

I love this set. I started out with the perfume and branched out with this set. The lotion is creamy and sinks right in. I have already used all of the body wash and enjoyed that throughly. Would buy again. Would make a nice gift!

I love the lavanilla coconut vanilla, and was hoping this vanilla would be nice and light. I was a little disappointed b/c it was stronger and heavier than the other. I should've smelt it in the store b/4 purchase, but it's okay. Not for me.

Quick Take: reusable, good value, long-lasting
If you like a vanilla scent, then you will like this set. It's one of the few fragrances that will last on me. Plus, it's not full of harmful chemicals. Another user mentioned the off smell of the lotion when it's first applied. I agree, but it does settle into a nice vanilla scent after absorbing.
