Quick Take: reliable, easy to use
I have used this product on my face for several months and love the effects. As suggested in the literature I also tried it on my exposed-to-the-sun-way-too-much hands. What an improvement! Will buy again...and again....and again.

i wanted to love, but didn't work out for me. I have sunspots, huge pores, dull skin, and prone to discoloration. i wanted to see this product brighten my skin, well, i expected some results after the 4th use but...nothing. i used it 2x a week. hoping to get fast results. maybe i need to finish the whole thing? idk. as for odor, i don't think it had any, and it was tolerable, i didn't feel any burn or itch. i'm sure it would be great for someone else, you just have to try it and see if it's for you.

Quick Take: easy to apply, not harsh on my skin
I already feel that I have too many things to use on my skin, so I haven't been all that conscientious about doing peels. This is easy! I use it once a week at night. My skin tolerates it well, so I don't have to wash it off. I just let it sit for a while and then put on a moisturizer and I'm done for the week.

great for redness from acne scars

I have been using these for the great part of a year now. I don't use them every week as they are pricey, and I don't use it on active acne. They work well to even my skin tone and to reduce the redness left behind by acne. I didn't read the directions carefully and have never washed it off after use. I'd go to sleep with the residue on my face and wake up with baby soft skin. My face can take a beating, but for sensitive skin I would wash it off after 5 minutes like it says to.

Quick Take: revitalizing, tightening, awesomely clean
I use this about once every two weeks, and it revitalizes my look. You can feel it tingling away all the dead surface skin. It feels like a toner going on so you don't feel sticky. Just put a little moisturizer over it and you're good to go. I love it. My skin glows from it, and the fine lines seem to vanish.

I have used this product now for 3 WEEKS and THE results are amazing. Skin starts to be so smooth now. Don't get discouraged after week1, it takes more time to see results. My pores are getting smaller also. Be careful when in the sun. Wear sunscreen!!! Your skin will be very sensitive.

Quick Take: amazing!!
I received these pads as a gift, and waited until a special occasion to begin using them.I knew they were used to exfoliate, so I used them the day of just to give my skin a glow, but not enough time to freak out if there was a reaction.(My skin usually shows signs of a reaction 24hours or so after I try something new)
My skin felt great, and my makeup went on sooo smooth. I felt great. The next day though, my skin was even brighter! not whiter, but brighter.I believe you are supposed to use the pads once a week, but I rarely follow the rules, and I used them 3 times a week for three weeks- the lines in my forehead almost completely went away, and I was recieving compliments daily. Then, I ran out : ( The effects lasted weeks, and I will be purchasing these again as soon as I need them.
* I do use the pm pads and the miracle worker moisturizer nightly, and help me treatment and the microdelivery 2 step when needed as maintenance*

Quick Take: harsh
I got one prepackaged pad in the "Hope for the Best" set for Christmas. Once I finally got around to using it, I had to quickly dab it on my face because the smell of rubbing alcohol completely filled and overwhelmed the bathroom. Definitely not worth it

A friend recommended this to me since I had issues with red marks leftover from acne. Needless to say, this worked well to reduce the redness. I sometimes use it once a week; but most of the time, I use it every 2-3 weeks because my skin is sensitive.
My skin feels baby soft the first 24 hours after using it. Otherwise, my skin tone is even and I have noticed a reduction in breakouts.

Ok, this is insane - seriously. I've only used this product twice. I'm going to be 50 this year (good God!!) and this morning I went out without makeup (there was a blizzard) to get some wine for the weekend and the guy in the liquor store asked me for my I.D.! "You've got to be 19 to drink in Ontario," he said. "And I've got to ask anyone who looks under 25 for I.D. And you do. Sorry." And I'm like "Sorry?! Are you kidding? You made my day/year/life. I'm 49." "You don't look it," he said. It's been so long since I've had to produce I.D. I couldn't even find it. But after he saw the state of my wallet (nobody under 25 could collect so much junk), he said "Ok, I believe you." And off I went. Skipped, I mean. It's been a great day so far. ;)
So as I said, I've used it twice. My skin is sensitive, but I've had no reaction to it so far. The first time seemed fine, but nothing remarkable. But after the second use, my skin really did feel smoother, softer and more polished. And to get carded? Um ... needless to say, I'm impressed!! I think I'm going to buy everything else Philosophy makes now!

I love how easy this peel is. You just cleanse your face, tear open the package, wipe it on your face, neck, decollete, and backs of hands. Let it dry for a minute and go to bed. It's once a week, and keeps skin looking fresh, and glowing.

I was turned onto Philosophy products by my supervisor at work. I originally received the Bridal gift box they offer, which included one of these peels.
The next day, I was amazed at the difference. I've tried tons of different products to reduce discoloration and acne scars, but I did notice a visible difference in my skin tone. I loved it so much I had to buy more. So far, this is a favorite, but I'm always open to trying new things.

It does smell bad, but it's a chemical peel. That's just the cold hard truth about philosophy facial products. They're wonderful, but the smell is something to get used to. (I think they try to overcompensate for this with their shower gels).

Good for Clearing up skin

I wasn't sure what to make of these. I have very sensitive skin and they didn't irritate it, but if I left it on overnight like the instructions say I would wake up with VERY oily skin and even after washing my face it still felt like a film was on my skin. However, I finally realized that if I left on the peel for about 15-20 minutes I got the best results. I can't say my skin tone evened out or I noticed less wrinkles, but I do feel like it brightened my skin. Better yet, it worked very well on acne. I started just using the pads the night before any day I wanted my skin looking really good and clear. These cleared up and greatly diminished any acne or acne scaring. While I was happy for that, I don't think the price really warrants buying this peel just as a spot treatment for acne.

been using this for about 4 weeks and haven't really noticed an improvement. It's super drying to the skin and causes some peeling especially around the nose and mouth - so it's a little bit of a problem in the winter when skin is already dry and exposed to cold air; might be good for some skin types, but not mine! i have pretty normal skin with some oil in the t-zone and a olive/brown skin tone

I love this product! it is soooo easy. there is not thinking involved and i love that they are individually wraped for travel.

Quick Take: smelly
I started by using one pad a week but since I wasn't seeing a change, I started using the pads twice a week. I left the treatment on over night but didn't notice a change at all in skin brightness (I was hoping to achieve this because I have red marks from past acne). You could smell the ingredients used for the pads- not pleasant at all; and it burned my eyes (even though I steered clear from my eyes)

Quick Take: irritating
My skin adapts to whatever I put on it. Sure, some products will clog my pores, but I've never had a product burn like this. I used it as directed and did not wash it off, since that was only suggested for those with sensitive skin and my skin felt fine that evening. I also followed it up with my usual natural oil application after having the peel pad on my face for about 30 minutes. That was 3 days ago. I woke up the next morning with red, itchy skin. The redness went away after a day, but my skin is still itching and burning.
I use the Miracle Worker pads daily (sure, some nights I get lazy and skip it) and never have problems. I'm glad that the peel pad I used was a sample and I didn't spend money to make my face feel awful, but yikes- this is no fun!!
If you want to use this, you might want to wash it off the first time just to see how your skin reacts. Hope it works better for you than it did for me...
