It plumps your face and hydrates perfectly. I use it at night because it can almost be too shiny for the day. Doesn't sting, burn or smell wish there was a lip version.

I had been searching for the perfect moisturizer for my combination skin forever, and this is it! My skin is acne prone but it also gets very very dry and flaky in the winter. This moisturizer completely takes care of the dryness, but doesn't contribute to the oilyness! It is thick and intensive, very moisturizing, but it doesn't cause me to break out at all. I can't stand it when you put on moisturizer and it seems to have taken care of your dry flaky spots until you put on makeup and then your face looks 100 times worse.... this doesn't do that at all. It really does last 24 hours. I will definitely buy this again and again... and the bottle lasts a long time.

I have REEEALLY dry skin and my face gets flaky/cracks all year around. I barely produce any oil in my face and regular face creams and lotions are too weak. The only thing that would help me before I discovered this was masking my face in Vaseline before going to sleep. I would wake up with a flake-free face but had that "glow" I didn't like. I got a sample of this and married it because now I wake up with a flake-free face that's porcelain smooth! It's a teensy greasy at initial application so I still have to apply it before bed so my face has time to "drink' it and work its magic.

I am 27 and my skin has always been VERY DRY. Even the most powerful moisturizers don't work on me, this does. It hydrates and yes for 24 hours! I put makeup on top and it doesnt falter at all. Its a life saver for me!

I talked to the dermatologist about what I can do at 26 to be proactive about anti aging and she said lots and lots of moisture. This is perfect in every way. I'll put it on after the shower and let it soak into my skin. I've been looking brighter and my skin is feeling extra hydrated. I was a big Hope in a Jar fan but this has now trumped it in my book!

I have always used the moisture surge for the summer months, but noticed that it wasn't very hydrating for my very dry/combination skin. However, this intense cream is creamier and actually hydrates my skin and doesn't cause an increase in oils.

I was on the hunt for a nice moisturizing foundation that wouldn't accentuate my extremely dry skin when it hit me! I should have been looking for a new moisturizer and this one does not disappoint! It absorbs quickly and leaves my skin nice and soft all day long! I have terribly dry skin and have previously used clinique's dramatically different moisturizing lotion but this blows that out of the water. I COMPLETELY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!!

This is the only moisturizer that really quenches my parched skin! it's best used at night but during the winter I've been using it during the day under makeup (though it takes a while to absorb, actually never fully does completely so it makes foundation not last as long, in my opinion). I've tried so many moisturizers but this is the only one I keep coming back to.

This product not only feels amazing on your skin, but also moisturizers very well! Great deal for the price. I have very dry skin and this is one of the best daytime moisturizers I have every used! I recently tried the Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief and was very disappointed. It was not nearly as hydrating and I have to layer 3 coats on my skin to even feel slightly moisturized...

I have combination skin. Recently my drugstore moisturizer was not moisturizing enough and it left a burning sensation. I decided to purchase the Clinique Moisture Surge Intense at the sephora stall. I have been using it for about 3-4 weeks & my skin is hydrated and there is no burning sensation! I do not apply this daily, sometimes I switch back to my regular drugstore moisturizer. Now my drugstore moisturizer doesn't burn anymore! It is probably my favorite moisturizer. The only down side is the price.

I'm obsessed with this stuff. I was having a hard time finding a good moisturizer that kept my skin moisturized throughout the day until I found this product. Its amazing! It's lightweight, non-comedogenic, and doesn't reek of fragrance. I was a bit worried about the cream-gel aspect, but my skin stays super moisturized and smooth without feeling greasy all day long. If you're a fan of Clinique products, this is definitely the way to go.

hubby asked me to get this for him - as his cousin in NYC let him use it during a snow storm and he liked how it kept his face moisturized. no, he's not a metro guy, so it was a surprising request. anyhow, we hold hands while falling asleep at night (awwww) and i noticed right away that they were "creepy" smooth after he applied the lotion to his face. i just can't hold them now, but his face is happy :)

My skin is extremely dry and sensitive. While some products may be moisturizing, they often cause allergic break-outs with just one use. Moisture Surge INTENSE does not. I cannot wear moisturizers with an SPF in them, so I have to wear a night cream all day or something like this. Clinique's Moisture Surge Intense keeps my skin plump, soft and free of dryness or sensitivity. It is comparable to another brand's night cream at twice the price -- which REALLY surprised me! Very happy with it! A little goes a long way, too! I always get the largest size -- it's worth it!

I absolutely love this stuff and the way it makes my skin feel!! My skin is so dry and at times flaky. This moisture surge is some awesome stuff! I put it on and literally 24hrs. later my skin is still so moisturized and no more flaky skin. I will definitely be back for more and I recommend this to anyone with dry skin!!!!!! It will make ur skin feel like velvet!!!!!

Quick Take: moisturizing non-clogging light breathable
This surge moisturizer is fabulous, it gives skin so much hydration-perfect for weather concerns or just really dry skin. I have used this while taking pills and using cream for acne and it did not clog pores, doesn't make face shiny but will add glow!
