Quick Take: hydrating, brightening, absorbs quickly
It's a good eye cream: very hydrating, does depuff, and leaves the eyes looking more awake and bright.
but there's a lot of other great ones that I would rather purchase other eye creams than this one for the price.

I had high hopes for this product but, my high hopes were diminished. I after using for several weeks I really didn't see much difference. I have had better results from cheaper products. I wouldn't purchase again.

I am a HUGE fan of philosophy and buy many skin care products!! However, I was hoping to see a difference in the puffiness under my eyes, and unfortunately didn't get much out of this. Since going back to Sephora, I've tried other product samples and on DAY 1 noticed less puffiness!! I recommend other brands before going to this one...even if you are a philosophy lover like I am!

I love philosophy products and decided to try this eye cream since I have puffy bags under my eyes in the mornings. I finished the entire bottle but didn't feel it did anything to reduce puffiness, I also thought it felt a little sticky on my skin. Not a big fan and won't be buying again.

The most invaluable thing in my skin care regimen

I've used other products in this genre, but on someone's recommendation I tried this gem, having started a new job where I wake up at 5 AM. The first time I tried a sample it worked like magic. I immediately bought a tube and continue to be astonished at how quickly and effectively it makes my puffiness go down every single morning. Regardless of the amount of sleep I had or lost it makes me look refreshed and wide-awake. I apply it after getting out of the shower go make a cup of coffee and by the time I get back into the mirror it has worked its wonder. I cannot recommend this product highly enough. Every friend I've told about it has become hooked as well.

Quick Take: fabulous!
Wow, this makes my eyes pop! At 47, I never thought I would be able to write that, but I can say with all honesty that Eyes Wide Open works for me. And, I have very sensitive eyes, and they never sting with this. I love it. Now, if only I could find a good night cream that helped with wrinkles and did not sting.

I apply this in the mornings and use a real eye cream before bed.
The product is very watery so it's easy to squeeze more than needed. I end up having to apply this on my eye lids and near the cheek bones. On the other hand, the watery substance is lovely since it's really easy to apply and I won't have to worry about massaging or patting on some sort of thick cream.
The product keeps my eyes looking alive despite my sleeping around 12am and working in an office from 8am to 7pm in a dry environment thanks to AC/Heater. Despite these lifestyles, I'm surprised my eyes don't get dried/wrinkled during the day and puffy by the morning. (my face does get dry during the day if I don't moisturize properly). My dark circles aren't gone at all, however. I'd keep this for the busy mornings, but I wouldn't use this for long term protection from premature aging or for reducing wrinkles.

It does help with depuffing the eyes in the morning. But its to thin to help my eyes stay moisturized. I ended up buying another brand to put on top of this. won't buy again

Finally a Depuffing Product that Works

This product is amazing! I have bags under my eyes that are hereditary and have tried many depuffing eye products that didn't work. When i purchased Eyes Wide Open i had low expectations but have been pleasently surprised. I can honestly say that my puffy eyes have improved and they get better the more i use the product. I will defiently be purchasing this product again.

Works well with an eye cream

For girls with minimal puffiness (like from staying up late), I can see it working by itself, but it you have long term puffiness, pair it with an eye cream.
I am 25 and I have suffered from puffiness under my eyes for as long as I can remember. I bought this and didn't see much of a difference at first, but then a girl at Sephora recommended that I put it in the fridge to keep it cool and to pair it with an eye cream for more hydration and I am really starting to see a difference. I use the eye cream every night before bed and right after putting on the Eyes Wide Open while putting on make up in the morning and it works great.

Quick Take: soothing, fast-acting
I have tried a lot of products for that morning puff, the best thing I came across was the bliss triple oxygen eye masks but they are sooo expensive for a month supply. This product from Philosophy works great, I can really notice a difference and the price is a lot better for the amount of product you get. I would imagine this would last me 4-6 months. Great Job Philosophy!

Quick Take: not an anti aging product
I had to return this item to Sephora. The gel kept my eyes somewhat open during the day. However the following morning, the under eye area was totally wrinkled. Not the look I was going for.
