Quick Take: hydrating, exfoliating
i use this nightly in two steps. first, exfoliate with the beads. second, moisturize with a thin layer leaving off the beads. it's great. after a week or so there is a positive difference in my lips.

Smells good

It smells good. That's about it. The first two times I used it, it was more like a lip balm, which I didn't mind. Then you get past the layer to the "exfoliating" part. Rubbed it on my lips and it didn't feel like it was exfoliating or conditioning at all. And no matter how hard you try, it takes forever to get the "exfoliating beads" off your lips. I was disappointed as I really wanted to like this but I would not buy it again.

Quick Take: exfoliating
The beads are a little annoying to get off, but this works so well that the hassle is worth it. Tastes pleasant. I don't think the beads are meant to work like a sugar scrub. Just exfoliate enough to have the rest work.

I was so excited when I purchased this product but after using it I felt like a fool because I could've gotten better results gently scrubbing my lips with a toothbrush... The only redeeming quality; it happens to smell nice...

Quick Take: hydrating, exfoliating
I like the flavor and I like how it conditions my lips. I do think that depending on the dryness of your lips the first time may not be as pleasing as you like...for me it took a couple of uses for my lips to feel smooth (around 3-4 uses) over all its a good product and I'm happy I don't have to peel and pick at my lips anymore.

Quick Take: exfoliating
This winter was particularly hard on my lips. I'm a serial chapstick user and once I started using this product (just after a few days) I haven't had to put on chapstick! Definitely need to follow instructions with it - don't be too harsh of you'll make yourself break out and rinse off thoroughly. Worth the money

First off, I LOVE bite beauty!! It's amazing how all their products are food grade/all natural. So when I was looking for a lip exfoliator, this brand was my first choice. I love that it feels really moisturizing, but as far as an exfoliator goes, it doesn't really get the job done. Unless I use more than one should. (which isn't something I want to do being that its not that big) I do use it every morning when I put my makeup on before lip primer to moisturizer, but I'm still on the prowl to find a GOOD exfoliator.

The exfoliants are not strong enough to immediately remove rough dry skin on lips but I like the fact that if used regularly your lips will not become dry in the first place. It does leave lips conditioned with a nice cherry flavor that is more pleasant than other products I've used. If gently wiped off after use then it is a good primer for lipstick/gloss which usually dry my lips out further if I do not apply this product first.

I've been using this for about 3 weeks. I noticed improvement right away and now have softer, smoother lips. It isn't extra grainy like most lip scrubs and it tastes great (this isn't an endorsement to eat it). I use it every day.

This was my first time using an exfoliate for my lips. I've always heard of it but this was very unexpected. I expected more of a rough formula which took a lot of dead skin off, instead to me it was just filled with annoying beads and extra moisture. I could be looking for wrong effects.

I thought this product would exfoiliate and get the dead dry skin off my lips.... but it did'nt. There are'nt enough exfoliating beads to scrub the dry skin off. It feels more like a lip moisture so I put it in every night before bed. But because the exfoliating beads it is not something to carry in your purse and use when the lips needs some touch up moisture. I love the cherry whipped smell though.

Quick Take: effective
My lips are always dry. This stuff is amazing. It isn't too abrasive. All I do is take a little pinky tap of it and rub it on to my lips with my mouth pressed closed, for about a minute. Then I take a tissue or a washcloth and wipe off the jojoba beads and I leave the rest of it on. Then my lips are prepped for lipstick. :))

I have always had really dry lips and have a problem with licking them (which I know makes it worst). But since using Bite my lips are so soft! It did take almost a week to really notice the change, but this is the only product that works.

Yummy, gentle scrub. Tastes awesome! I let it sit on my lips for a while, then wipe away. I feel good about this brand and love that it's food grade, good for you and not tested on animals!

Quick Take: hydrating, exfoliating, softening
Seems like i have had chapped lip problems for 30 years - and while the Fresh Sugar scrub is helpful, this is SO much better. It does have some polishing beads but the great thing is the fruit acids in the creme part SOFTEN the chapped parts so they come off smoothly and do not irritate. I have been putting this on and then covering it with the AMORE PACIFIC lip treatment - with great results. When you wake with lips that are really chapped, covering them with something greasy - even the ARGAN oil lip treatment would not get results as good as this. I am buying a spare to keep in my purse!

Disappointing scrub

I tried this scrub as a sample, and I am glad I did. It has a very heavy oily feel to it, and i think it might have exacerbated a break out around my mouth a little. I don't think it really did much to exfoliate my lips at all. The smell was nice, but the little beads really reminded me of little styrofoam beads. I wanted to like it, but I think I'll be sticking to my current lip scrub for now.

Quick Take: great product!! use it 2-3x/week.
I recently ran into a professional (female) acquaintence whom I have not seen in a long time...and her lips were all chapped...it was not attractive!! It MOTIVATED me to purchase lip scrub.....I never want to appear with dry, chapped lips...sorry chica's ...but yes, FIX YOUR LIPS!!
I live in Denver and it is a very dry climate, but I am from St Louis and I would still use this there....IT IS A NECESSITY!! I looked at several brands in Sephora and chose this one because the price was very reasonable..I use it about 2x/week (do not use more than 3) and that works just fine. But, if you want to maintain a "polished" appearance from head to toe, it is simply a "must have" that you have to add to your skin regimen. The saleswoman was incredibly helpful in helping me find this product. In addition: I do not like heavily scented lip products, so while this does have a cherry scent, it is not overwhelming. And, Bite Beauty is not "toxic" like many other lip balms/lipsticks for those of you who are concerned about that..this line is edible if you can believe it~~ENJOY!

Nice texture & flavor and does the job it should. Not too harsh. If you lick your lips with the product on them it doesn't taste bad or feel gritty. I would definitely suggest keeping your lips protected with lipstick/lip balm/gloss as they will be more prone to the elements.
