I have two of these sets (the original & graffiti). Both was pretty cheap in quality and it burnt to pay $50 for such a thing especially when the brushes were pretty useless. Anyway for $25 its a great buy!! Hope these brushes are an improvement!!

If you want this for the adorable hello kitty then this is great. However the brushes are a pitiful excuse of makeup brushes. They are all super small and not very good quality. I use my hello kitty to hold my good brushes I've already had and I'm satisfied.

I use this as decoration since I love hello kitty, haven't used the brushes yet, they are soft but thin and small. I'm always checking back wishing they re-stock for $25 each so I can stock up on some xmas gifts, this is perfect!

I got this and Im in love with it. :D
Im keeping it more as a collectors idem , I haven't opened the brush bag and it is still in it's clear box in my room.
I love looking at it in my bedroom.

i love this. the container is so cute and the color is so elegant, the brushes are ok, i wont really be using them too much. theyre really soft though so thats nice. this is more of a decorative item than a practical one.

Good thing I called sephora to put this on hold for me. It was the last set of mon amour and I really like the pearly finish of this hello kitty rather than the other one. The brushes are so soft and very portable. I'm not really a fan of hello kitty but this one caught my attention.

I love hello kitty and as soon as I saw this, I knew I had to buy it. The brushes are super soft, maybe a bit too soft to pick up any shadows and blushes etc. but it's still good! They are travel sized which is very good for when you are traveling, so don't miss this opportunity to get them! It is irresistibly cute and I just love the hello kitty Brush container!!

I got my brush for only $14 cuz I heard my friend said a lady told them that the brush set was on $14 and at first they day I could do that but then I said I didn't want it so then they gave it to me. But I absolute adore the brushes and hello kitty the brushes are so so soft

i just got this brush set for my birthday, and it is soooo super cuteeee :D. im not actually using the cup to store the brushes, im just using it as a decoration for the empty shelves in my room. the brushes are super soft and adorable, and the color of the hello kitty is this beautiful pearly white. i haven't used the brushes yet, im thinking they might be a little too soft to pick up some pressed powders i have, but that shouldn't be a big deal, ill just use other brushes. these are travel size, so don't expect these to be an everyday brush set. this was a really good bargain though, since it is half the price of the original, AND its paris themed :). i also like this color way better than the original silver. too bad its limited edition, i just hope they come out with more. that would be awesome!!!! i love hello kitty :D

If we forget about the cuteness of the Hello Kitty container for just a second and focus on the brushes, you're still in for a treat. The brushes work really well and are super soft, which I love. I also love the fact that they're synthetic, but they don't pick up powder very well. Maybe it's just me, but some adjusting on my part and everything works fine. I actually like the tiny brush sizes because it allows me to get really close to the mirror (I'm very nearsighted) without the brush handle in the way.
Like many other reviewers, I find that the face brush is way too small for things like powder brushes, but it works well as a blush brush - so it does work as a face brush! The large eyeshadow brush, I don't use for eyeshadows, I use it as a concealer brush instead and use the small brush for eyeshadows. Overall, this is the set that I use if I'm on the go and I need to get my makeup done in 5 minutes or less.
Also, the kitty container is SO CUTE!!

Definitely a great buy that's worth the price. The cashier rang it up which revealed that instead the price is $14 whereas $25- which is still a reasonable price- so naturally this was a pleasant surprise. Unlike the picture shown, the case itself is a pearlescent white instead of a flat color. And of course, being Hello Kitty, everything is incredibly cute! The brushes are conveniently labeled as well as very plush and soft!
Overall, I definitely recommend buying this especially due to the lowered price! For some reason, they must have not updated the price online, so if possible, try to visit the nearest Sephora store!

These reviews had me worried. Yes, the brushes are travel sized. BUT I have small hands (and eyes) and find these to be perfect for me (the big brushes are just awkward). Absolutely love the size and find the brushes themselves to be well made.
The bristles were quite a surprise, very plush and soft while being sturdy. I had no facial irritation after using this set and I couldn't be happier. You have no idea how unusual this is, especially with sensitive skin.
Not crazy about the actual Hello Kitty container due to my lack of space. I just gave it to my friend and she uses it to store her loose change lol. All in all a fantastic value.

First, let me say that the Hello Kitty container is so adorable. The brushes are not horrible but definately are not top quality. They are very soft and gentle on the skin and great if you are on the go and need a small brush to throw in your bag. I think these would be best suited for a young makeup beginner. These would make a great christmas or birthday gift for a preteen or teenager.

Quick Take: a nice collectable
This is so cute! It is a pearl white color which was a nice surprise since I expected it to be a flat white. The brushes are a little better than I expected except the lip brush is quite a disappointment. The cap is not snug which emphasizes the cheap quality however, I did not buy this for the brushes. I was especially delighted when I noticed the price drop from $50 to $25. Overall I am pretty satisfied with this. It is a lovely collectable.
