I needed a pair of clippers to keep in my purse for occasional use and theses are perfect. They do make a loud sound when you clip with them (and I have thin nails) but they're so cute that it's totally worth it.

It's really cute and cuts the nails really well!
Yes the outside is made of plastic, but the inside is a regular nail clipper made of metal. I've been using it for over 2 months now, and the clipper looks the same as the day I bought it: no scratch or peel at the silver paint and still does it jobs perfectly!

It is super cute but it does not cut nails very good. $8 for Hello Kitty and nothing for cuting nails.

these clippers are super cute if you are a hello kitty fan, but if you want to actually clip your nails with them, save your money. not very sharp and leave nails jagged.

These are cute, but I was surprised to find that the Hello Kitty motif is actually a plastic sleeve over a regular clipper. It's a good quality clipper, I just wasn't expecting that for some reason.
Still, nice to see kitty smiling at you while you handle those mundane tasks :)

I bought these because my last pair of nail clippers literally fell apart in my hand when I picked them up and I was desperate. I am so glad for that! They seem very sturdy to me and I use them on all my nails. Let's face it, I bought them because I thought the Hello Kitty face was cute, and as it turns out the shape actually provides a great, easy grip. My last pair used to slip all the time and split my nails, but these are precise and they don't slip. I've read other reviews that say they are lightweight, but I disagree. And the one review that mentioned that the nails "get stuck"--that's actually the way nail clippers are supposed to function. Your nails are supposed to stay in the little catch so you can empty them right into the trash, but cheap versions always fling nails everywhere. These also come with a little plastic sheath for the ends of the clippers so you can store them or pack them without worrying about them snagging on everything. I actually bought a second pair of these so that when the first ones eventually break, I won't have to go back to the drugstore ones right away. I anticipate them lasting a long time, though.

Quick Take: cute, portable, lightweight
These nail clippers work as well as any other you'd find at a drugstore, but you could easily find a better pair. I don't recommend using these for toenails as they're not quite sharp enough to handle thicker nails. Also, this is simply a common pair of nail clippers encased in silver plastic shell shaped like Hello Kitty's head, which gets fingerprints on it easily. I don't think this product would break anytime soon, but if it does I would not repurchase.

I bought this for my daughter. She wanted to see Hello Kitty's face but for some reason you can't in the design! The clippers work well to cut but some nails got stuck in the body of the clippers.

Hello Kitty is appearing everywhere so they had to create a nail clipper and many other things. The nail clipper clips very good. Cuts the nails evenly. Nice job! for a great nail clipper and cuteness.

Quick Take: very useful, very fun
I love everything "HELLO KITTY" so naturally I had to have these nail clippers. The Hello Kitty clipper is pretty light in weight. I am used to the heavy-type nail clippers that you usually find at the drugstore, but I like the fact that they are pretty easy to hold and light-weight too. I can cut both my daughters fingernails (they are 20 months old) and not worry too much about hurting them.
I would recommend these for just the novelty alone but these are actually good nail clippers. I think they also make a fun gift if you pair them with a Hello Kitty makeup bag and Hello Kitty nail polish too!

Quick Take: cute
I love the fact that they have a plastic cover over the clippers so that they don't dull up as fast. I wish they were a little more heavy duty. They are kinda plasticky so I only use them for my hands. I've been looking for hello kitty nail clippers for a while and I finally found them!
